    FPS Problem

    System I7 6700k 4.00 ghz NVIDIA 960 4GB 24 GB 3000 MHZ RAM Z170A GAMING PRO MOTHERBOARD and in game fps 24-30 ( no mod, normal Servers ''Invade Annex....etc'' servers ) what is that problem other games not doing like that. anyone help?
  2. Hi Folks, Yesterday we played a modded game, as usual, but we observed a mysterious phenomenon. If a object ownership was given from server to a client, or a client created an object, looking towards this object causes MASSIVE FPS loss, to all clients who are not owner of the Object?   3. Does anyone know how to fix the Arma 3 Memory Leak bug where playing the for like 30-40 min and frame rate drops to like 20-30 fps. It's been really annoying and hampering with mission making. Hopefully some of Devs see this and respond. I've tried every option from using memory allocator to unparking the cores to putting on low settings. My Specs - i7-3537U @2.00GHz 2.00 GHz 12.0 GB RAM 64-bit OS x64 processor GeForce GT 735M Windows 8.1

Hey guys, So I have a glitch where whenever I am in a helicopter, vehicles, or a very tight area (like buildings or places with lots of echo) there is a loud static and "popping" sounds followed by a massive drop in frames. The glitch will go away if in 3rd person or in 32 bit arma, but I would like to be able to use 64 bit arma. I would like to elaborate on my term of massive frame rate drops, my frames will go from 60, all the way down to 1 or it will freeze entirely, so it makes first person unplayable. I have tested increasing sound sources from highest to lowest with no fix, I have tried most everything under the sun. People say that this issue is a Logitech headset only issue and I can confirm that that is false to an extent. I use Corsair VOID gaming USB headset and this issue persists. I have had this glitch for at least 6 months. Hardware: AMD FX-8350 (CPU) ASUS 970 PRO gaming AURA (Mobo) G.Skill Ripjaw DDR3 2x8 Gb RAM (RAM sticks) ASUS GTX 970 STRIX (GPU) Corsair VOID gaming USB Headset (Headset) (8 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz) (It is stuck on that setting btw) Thank you for taking the time to read.

Disclaimer: My game is modded - Battle Royale Mod, CBA_A3 and CUP Weapons (Specs on the bottom) I've been playing ArmA 3 for a long time now, ArmA 2(never had any issue with this game ever!) even longer. I understand that the engine is not properly optimised and I am also willing to play on 500m view distance to get a good framerate. (I'd still prefer 1000m+ tho) That being said, before the latest 64bit update game was terrible but since I only played coop, a little stutter here or there wasn't a huge issue and I never really thought of fixing it. Now it is a bit more weird and inconsistent in performance. I get 45+ FPS all time and when I am about to enter a village/town/city on Altis my game stutters a bit while loading the textures and stuff, which again is fine by me. But what my problem is, while playing Battle Royale, the game freezes for 2 seconds whenever there I see any enemy in front of me. Of course in that time even a monkey can shoot you considering everyone is pumped up. This makes me avoid any kind of contact with any player the entire round which is not how you play any shooter game. At least not ArmA. What my question is, is there any way I can at least minimise the occurrence of the stutter while I am in front of an enemy? Specs: i5 2500k GTX 750Ti 8GB RAM 1333mhz 1TB WD Blue DxDiag system info:
  6. ... just found this statement in latest SITREP #00166: From user reports, it looks like problems happens, when virtual memory used by arma process is 3000-3500MB. Considering the fact that each user process on windows, has its own virtual address space and that arma is still a 32 bit process, it seems natural that such problems are related to the limitation of 32 bit address space. Even if the total 'mapped' virtual memory is still some hundreds MB below the limit of 4096MB, it is more likely that a request for a larger block of memory fails later, simple because there is no continous block of virtual address left, large enough to map the requested ammount (fragmentation of address space). This seems not to be fully understood and i hope my hint will help to rethink the current 'bug hunting' approach.
