Hello, it's a few days ago when I decided to try again DayZ mod on Arma 2 but now I have a little problem here. I join server, play maybe 10-60 minutes normally and suddenly the game stop responding or (more common case) freeze but only visual. I can hear the audio and if I press ESC (in working state it opens disconnect menu) I can see my mouse cursor moving but that's all. I can't see the disconnect menu. I noticed that before this freeze the GPU usage was 100% and then immediately 0% and during the freeze Arma uses 0% GPU. So I need to "end task" in task mngr and start Arma again. As I mentioned this happens very often. I can play an hour without any problem or I can't play even 20 minutes without crash. I also need to mention that I have installed totally clean Windows 11 and installed new Arma 2 there but it hasn't helped me. Now I have Windows 10 (v.21H2) Nvidia graphic card with newest driver and Intel CPU I have 32GB of RAM so RAM isn't the problem. Thanks for any idea how to fix this.

Arma 3 Crashing 0xC0000005 STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

Hello any help on this would be much appreciated, after playing from 1 minute to 4 hours my game crashes and displays the error code 0xC0000005 STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION. I have done all of the suggested things in the launcher after searching the error into google i.e malloc=system, turning up CPU count, using different memory allocators and also renaming the Arma 3 AppData folder so it makes a new one. I love playing Arma and don't want to stop. Please advise. Many thanks in advance. -
Got ArmA 3 as a gift. Can I just join any server?

So, I just got arma 3 as a gift to play with my friend but he hasn't even jumped on it since. Free game I guess. But I've tried asking him several times what arma 3 is about, because Im completely ignorant to the series. I just know its about warefare, but I see others saying its about survival. I've seen a few mods like exile, epoch and ryans zombies that I really like and i have them and several other mods now, but I want to know if there are any guidelines? Like.. can I just join the server that says pvp or pve, kos or no kos, and treat it like ark? just jump in, gear up and kill players or ai (if the server allows pvp)? Also, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this!
