  1. Hi, I am trying to get into that config replacement stuff. At the moment i have a problem with sound replacement. I am trying to give a Modgun a vanilla sound (P07), but cant get it done and iam running out of ideas how this could work else... When launching Arma with my replacement config, i get the error "Undefined base class `Mode_SemiAuto'. This is the code inside the CfgWeapons in my replacement config file: As far as i get it, you basically "overwrite" the initial mod config file with your replacement file. It worked sofar with all parameters, except the sound I have no clue where the class "Mode_SemiAuto" directs to. It somehow works when i throw this code directly into the original mod config file, thats why i really dont understand why my replacement config with the same code wont.... I guess its a noob caused issue and hope you guys can help me out. I can give more info if needed. Sry for english mistakes & greets from Germany ;)

  3. Hey, i deleted some from the USP_Patches mod/insignias cuz its to much for me. So after deleting some scripts i cant convert back,||Class destroyed with lock count 1|| Heres the scripts, and thanks for the help

Is it \armastuff\ui\logo.paa or something else? I can never get this to work. Even though the mod icons work, with the mod.cpp. Doing something like adding new graphics to the game never works for me. Any help would be appreciated.   7. Hello, im trying to make a reskin, standalone version of the CUP_Vehicle's Dingo 2 The config.cpp is from the CUP_Vehicle. I've only cutton down on numbers of varients to 2 and renamed all CUP dependent weapons and units to arma 3 standard one. When i'm trying to pack the mod im getting the following error: Build failed. I'll try to explain myself better what I'm looking for and perhaps someone could help me clarify what I might actualy need. Right now I'm making a items based mod that adds new clothes and it works perfectly. I have a single .pbo with the config.cpp that has the classes that add the new content to the game. However right now I wanted to add to that mod some game changing scripts that involve some kind of commands that don't seem to fit the .cpp/.hpp files. I'm not gonna try to guess what I need but here's the kind of command that I wanted to integrate in my mod: "player addEventHandler..." I've found similar commands like this in .sqf files from missions, however I don't want to design a script that only works for a single mission, I was looking for information on how to do something that integrates globally like ACE3. Perhaps I'm not entirely aware of the possibilities of a config.cpp file but right now I'm having touble finding information or I'm not sure what Im actually looking for. Perhaps create another .pbo just for these kind of scripts? I don't know... I'd be much apreciated and perhaps some other curious people in the future on how to integrate game changing behaviours or multiple kinds of content to a mod. UPDATE: I've been doing a bit more of research and found something about the init file that seems to be used to launch .sqf files. Could it work that way? UPDATE 2: As I was reverse engeneering a mod I found a couple interesting classes that might just answer my prayers. class DefaultEventhandlers; //gonna lookup in the wiki see what it actually does class CfgFunctions{ /* From what I've analized this class looks for .sqf files in the func folder. Each is then "initialized" by calling them. file name: @mod\func\fn_test.sqf */ class test{} UPDATE 3: Found it.

Do you have any information about BI's binarize algorithm for configs, models, world's wrp files or at least config (cpp) binarize algorithm for converting text to binary representation and vice versa? Found some useful info about PBO packing/unpacking but nothing about binarize. Thanks.
