Illegal read by 0x7ff70d990d65 at 0xffffffffffffffff This is the readback I consistently get and am unable to troubleshoot this through uninstall/reinstalls and common troubleshoot methods (like disabling overlays) I've seen on forums. _____ I have been receiving consistent crashes after loading into community servers that have mods loaded. I have had no issue with this in prior weeks and it has really only started happening since a week or so after the last update (PlayStation launch one), it could be on the mod owners; however, I really don't know what else I can do with my knowledge and the responses on forums that would point towards this. On top of these servers being consistently full it doesn't seem to be the mod packages that are the issue. If it is because my OS and game drive are on two separate drives, which is the one thing I have that is definitely abnormal, I don't think I can play on public servers... so that would suck. I specifically have a drive dedicated to my OS and base applications so I don't have drives available to even configure Arma Reforger to be compatible with that necessity. Any solutions or assistance that I can try I would appreciate. I have logs ready, if needed. -

Prefab groups not showing unit models in world editor

Hi all, Im very new to the workbench and having a persistant issue when trying to follow some tutorials on youtube. I get to the parts where they go into the main arma reforger files, prefabs, groups, OPFOR, and then drop and drag a group onto the map - when they do it on youtube the units apear in the world in the editor window, but when I do it all I get is the gizmo.. Im probably missing a simple view setting or something but its hard to see where the units are being placed with out seeing them in the world. When I play the game (from the editor) the units spawn in. any sugestions or tips would be much apprecitated! Thanks! Shrike -
Was playing with mouse and keyboard just fine yesterday. Go to try and play today and the mouse no longer is recognized by game client. Cursor is just pinned to the top left corner and is completely unresponsive to any mouse inputs. Tried full system restart, tried multiple PS5 consoles, tried uninstalling and reinstalling game client, tried multiple mice. No change, just can’t use a mouse today for no reason. Controller inputs work and keyboard inputs work, just no mouse. Please help/fix. Controller inputs are garbage compared to mouse and keyboard. Not trying to hold three buttons to issue an order or change radio frequencies, etc etc.

What Should Loadouts Look Like in ARMA 4?

In Arma Reforger, rebuilding loadouts can be a tedious process, especially when server wipes or mod mismatches force players to start from scratch. This issue highlights a significant gap in the current system, and I believe it’s an opportunity for Bohemia Interactive to introduce a more robust loadout management system in Arma 4. Here are some key improvements I’d like to see: 1. Local Loadout Saves Loadouts should be saved directly to a player’s machine. This would: Prevent loss due to server wipes. Enable players to save an unlimited number of loadouts instead of being restricted to the current 5-slot limit (e.g., in the Bacon Editor). 2. Cross-Server Portability Players should be able to attempt loading their saved loadouts on any server. Even if some items are unsupported due to mod differences, the system could load the valid parts and notify users about skipped items. This incremental loading would reduce the time spent rebuilding kits from scratch. 3. Incremental Loading of Items One of the biggest frustrations in Arma Reforger is that a single invalid item can prevent an entire loadout from being loaded. A smarter system could: Validate items individually during the loading process. Load valid items while logging or alerting users about any issues with unsupported ones. By addressing these challenges, Arma 4 could significantly enhance the player experience. Local saves, incremental loading, and cross-server portability would empower players to focus on gameplay rather than repeatedly rebuilding their configurations. Do you agree that these changes are necessary? How would you approach loadout management in Arma 4? -
Loaded: only Default DLC / No CDLC loaded! 1) Diving Goggles are not shown: For player on land: AI units, the goggles are shown only in water (as expected?): And the goggles are shown for players if they get in the water too: Is this correct behavior to automatically remove the mask when not in water? 2) If you createUnit in water (via script) and ask them to go to dry land, the swimming animation is still running on dry land (that is if the unit doesn't drown before when the script has some -sleep command- too long right after the unit is spawned and the unit has no breather). Bugged uniforms: U_B_Wetsuit U_O_Wetsuit U_I_Wetsuit U_B_survival_uniform Evidences: If you throw the unit to the sky, forcing to use the parachute, after landing the unit restores the ability to walk normally. IMPORTANT: if you add a group of divers by Eden editor and set for them a regular move waypoint also through Eden, everything works well (except the mask not shown until to run): 3) Using Zeus to drag and drop a diver from underwater to dry land: the swimming animation still running on land. It would be great if someone else confirmed this weird behavior too. Happy holidays, kids 😉

bug Helicopter engine turning off when taking over control

This one is pretty straight forward. When the controls for a helicopter are unlocked and the other pilot wants to take them over, the engine shuts down. This completely defies the purpose of this feature. -
LALT key not work for "aim down sights toggle"

hello, just installed reforger, i set the same keys that i use on arma3 (and every other shooter game). i always use LALT key to aim weapon (ironsights or scope), and in reforger seems to work with ironsights, but when i use a scope, it look throught scope, but never stop doing it! i keep pressing LALT but nothing happens... it keeps looking throught scope! i have to switch weapon to stop looking throught scope! if i use another key (for example i tried a mouse button or spacebar) it works as intended, looking throught scope ON and OFF. i double-checked for key conflicts, removing LALT key from every other action, but still no way. obviously is a trouble for me since changing key is not an option for my poor old brain. i tried but simply can't delete 20 years of pratice so easily. thanks for any help!-

Custom compostions not showing, Friends stuck on loading screens. Arma 3 zeus. Need Help

My friend, his brother and I are trying to set up a 3 way Zeus match (my friend is hosting on his computer) where we can spawn units and fight each other on Takistan. My friend is able to spawn all of his custom composition of units, I am only able to spawn 5/9 of my custom units. We have the game master modules put down with all unofficial addons checked and the problem still persist. *we are using modded units* I uploaded all my custom compostions of units to steam workshop and had the host download them, he is able to spawn them in eden editor but not the multiplayer match. Him and his brother were playing flawlessly the other night, me and my friend were playing fine the other night besides my units not fully spawning in. Now his brother loads in, sees his character for a split second and then is stuck in another loading screen but can hear the birds chirping and ambience. Any fix for both of these issues is greatly appreciated. Thank you, -
Hey guys! As the title says I'm having problems with Eden Editor and Arma general interface. I DON'T KNOW why this happens randomly, the mods that I use are the same but this problem "manifests" on his own. Basically if I search for an item for example the texts that I'll get as results are all blue and not white as always. I wanted to ask if anyone knows why. Someone told me that it should be "global interface colour" but again, its all set to default, I changed nothing. Hello, since the release of 1.1 I've been the victim of a major bug that makes the game really frustrating. I've already tried everything, and the only solution is to uninstall all the mods. Being an Xbox Series X user, you can understand that it's not perfect. Every time I try to connect to a modded server, I get rejected and the game gives me the error : Kick cause: group=4 'DATA', reason=1 'RDB_MISMATCH' As a reminder, I only have this problem on modded servers, I have a fast and stable connection, this bug is completely random (one chance in 3) but when it's there, it's persistent, which means I just can't play. Please help me...... -
Hello I'm facing problems with the tab menu (inventory) When I'm close to some storage (bags, trunks, arsenals, etc.), if in the tab menu I want to open it (double clicking left or middle mouse button), it doesn't work since I have bought the game (2days). Hi ! I noticed an issue with the start of the elimination rounds. If you try to kick someone right after choosing their class (which is usually when everyone does it) It is possible for the player to remove their ammo by pressing the same button! (square for Playstation) I have had the misfortune of doing this several times and having to survive with one magazine in each weapon which is very difficult in general.

Hi! So I propose another problem that I noticed, it is a bug where some players do not take any damage despite the fact that the bullets hit them, we can clearly see the blood splatters but the life bar is not impacted. We can see below that I am hit in a multitude of examples without taking any damage or really extremely little. If necessary I also have friends who have shown me videos of them where for example a player fires a sniper bullet at point blank range in first person view and does not hit the opponent who remains motionless in front of him. Since a photo doesn't show much, I prefer to put a video of the moments below to better show what happened.

Several people on Redit including myself are unable to play the game since the addition of the Halloween decorations to the shelter on xbox the game crashes when interacting with your shelter and in some cases just standing still in your shelter will cause game crash. Making it impossible to do anything. So far everything causes it to crash from collecting resources to opening crates, even starting matchmaking.

Since the new update, when hit with a flashbang, the sound is muffled throughout the match and in the lobby. The only way to fix it is to quit the game and reload.

Hello hello! New season begins! I had like almost ALL players a problem that still persists in the game. It is a defect related to the preselection of our equipment in the shelter. When a preselection is made the game crashes and it is impossible to restart it because a message "An error has occurred". The player is forced to go to the settings of his console to delete a particular folder from the game.

Help With Addaction Activating A Trigger

Hello everyone! This is my first post on here so apologies if something's amiss with my delivery. I am using the following line in a unit's init who I want to activate a trigger upon the player walking up to them, scrolling through the action menu, and selecting "Start Briefing": this addaction ["Start Briefing",{Trigger_Con = true; publicVariable "Trigger_Con";}]; I am then activating the trigger with this line in the condition: Trigger_Con; It would seem things were going well at first, the player walked up to the unit and the briefing started after selecting the action in the menu, activating some code I put in the trigger's activation field, however, I ran into some limitations: 1. The distance at which I can activate the briefing by looking at the unit is ridiculous. (I assume it is 50m.) 2. The menu item "Start Briefing" by looking at the unit still remains after I use it, which I do not want. I have looked at the syntax for the addaction, but I find it confusing and can not get the result I want experimenting with that information. Much thanks if anyone can assist me with either problem. -

Arma 3 crashing after 30mins - a couple of hours consistently

I'm having a consistent issue in which playing any mode or scenario ( quicker in intensive multiplayer servers) where Arma 3 will freeze essentially locking me out of my computer, where I will then need to do a hard manual restart. I have so far monitored the temperature of my laptop before and after this issue occurs, and the cpu never gets above 60 degrees and the gpu 70 degrees. I mostly believe the problem is to do with enough RAM, I have 16gb (although with nothing open at desktop it says 6gb in use, which I'm unsure of why). I tried manually increasing virtual memory allocation (set initial paging file to 20gb, max 30gb) I have attached the most recent normal freeze rpt file.
