This is a scripted and randomized PVE scenario which you can play both alone and online with other players. You can load the scenario in both Everon and Arland. As of right now you can only be victorious (no defeat) in this scenario. This might change, see wish list further down. Workshop link Please do report back any problems you may have. I am also interested in other ideas, feedback, whatever you have to tell. The "elevator pitch" With friends, or alone, free the land from foreign forces occupying your lands. You play as FIA where both US and USSR has began capturing various locations, and it's up to you to eliminate these forces! Randomly generated content for each play-through. Main objective is to take all capture points (towns, docks, airport, some properties, etc.) Find better weapons by searching buildings within the capture points. Optional side-missions for additional rewards: Weaponized vehicles and friendly Ai reinforcements. Civilian Ai walks around various "populated areas" - towns, small properties, etc. Simple civilian Ai car traffic - for the immersion. Enemy reinforcements on most areas may occur within 10 minutes of a player attacking first enemy. Scoring system - This will make this scenario a little "arcade-like" - but this scenario is a game after all. Scores are shown in the top right corner of your screen. Gain points by eliminating enemies. Lose one point upon death. Lose one point upon murdering a civilian. Lose two points killing a team mate or any members from your faction (FIA.) This scenario is more or less Game Master friendly, you can however consider it as an "automatic game master" on its own. It is a benefit to have at least one game master to help aiding in the usual "Arma issues" that sometimes occur. But usually you should be fine playing without one. Wishlist / todo list for the scenario, moving forward Alarm sound when enemy reinforcements arrive. Encounters where enemies arrive while players drive on the road. Half-way implemented with the appearance of civilian Ai traffic. Manned road blockade - there's a good handful of Game master slots where this can be set up in advance, though not sure how to script that yet. Better "score UI" - for now it's only showing your score in the corner of the window, but having a button to press to (temporarily) show your (and your team mates) could be nice. US and USSR may attack each other, or FIA controlled areas. This might open up for a Defeat condition of this scenario, for now you can only be victorious. Continuing from previous point, base building similar to the official Conflict scenario. Other side mission rewards (not sure what yet, suggestions?) Additional side missions: Rescue. Assist friendly Ai forces. Other sabotage missions. Neutralize officers (or similar) Known issues Sometimes a player gets completely stuck in a vehicle, unable to interact with anything. Game Masters aren't even able to move around the player entities. Current resolution: Die and respawn appears to help, at least. Who am I? I am a male in my mid thirties from Norway who has enjoyed playing ArmA for the past ten years with my friends. I am a software engineer so making a scenario using for the most part scripts, only fell natural to me. Scripting for Reforger is the first time I attempt anything mod-related for any games. I would like to learn more about Enfusion Workbench eventually, but a man only has so much time to spare.

As extra missions, I added unique missions as well: Destruction Request Spawns a vehicle that the player needs to destroy to gain a reward crate. As extra I added funny music tracks to the vehicle so you can hear it coming. Base Raids If you stay in your base for a while you can be raided by Napf Bandits. Based on your base level, 3 squads could spawn that includes a group on foot, in a vehicle or even in a helicopter dropping troops. Also unique sounds when a base raid is happening Water Missions Because Napf is an island surrounded by sea, I also created water missions that gives you an unique opportunity to fight underwater, or with boats. Airdrop Events Another custom mission will be a helicopter moving to your position at random, which can be friendly or enemy. If it is friendly it can drop you a vehicle reward, or AI units that will move into your group, so you can command them. Enemies will try to kill you of course. NightOps - Arma Platform Modding Project www.NightOps.de One month after the early access release of Arma Reforger, we are happy to announce the NightOps modding project officially. We provide frameworks and custom gamemodes in Arma Reforger for everyone to use. This makes creating a coop or solo scenario very easy for mission makers. No workbench experience yet? Don’t worry, our first tutorials and documentation will lead you through it! And the best thing, it’s already published! The team made several released the last weeks but we feel now ready, to announce this project to the public. You can either use just one framework as a dependency or the whole package with a lot of useful features for creating custom missions. A showcase what features and mechanics are included can be already played in the NightOps - Everon 1985 mini-campaign and we will release custom PvE and PvPvE gamemodes in the near future. What is already done and can be used right now by everyone: Custom Modes Framework (provides ready-to-use Coop gamemode prefabs and some mighty custom trigger for mission design) Dynamic Task Framework (provides a dedicated server working task manager with a lot of custom task trigger) Dynamic Spawn Framework (provides a system to dynamically spawn and de-spawn groups, vehicles and objects and can even use a dynamic faction system to change the spawning units depending on mission header configuration) Everything is covered in a great basic tutorial written by Herbiie and documented well on our website. And more deep dive guides will follow soon about every framework. Next to that, Zeal published a small tutorial about Additional Script utilizing the frameworks in a more specific way about topics, people were asking lately alot. It’s part of our philosophy to make the project open-source sharing everything we learned for the community. So you can either just download the dependencies in the Ingame workshop or review the sourcecode repositories on GitHub. And finally, I want to share a overview about our roadmap for the near future: While we are working already on bigger gamemodes in the background, we are happy to tease the NightOps DYNAMIC COMBAT PATROL mode which will be released soon. We will offer a immersive and persistent combat patrol experience for Arma Reforgers Everon map. And mission makers can use the gamemode out of the box to add it to other custom terrains easily. Warfare missions under WASP edition Warfare missions are based on CTI principles where players have to fight for control of certain terrain. Current edition makes focus on RTS part where team commanders receive access to infantry, vehicle squads. Having till 10 groups under control a commander can give them orders via map view. Remote control is available for each group and even each soldier of group. UnfinishedBusiness is a dynamic and random survival multiplayer mission with PvP elements for 1-20 players. Well, wat? Let me explain 🙂 You are starting as one coop group and will try to accomplish the mission. This group will be the main story line for the entire mission. If the group will be eliminated, the mission will end immediately. Players who will end up being killed however are not just supposed to watch and wait. They will be assigned to a different fractions and will be helping or resisting the main group. The more players are involved in the mission -- the more fun you will get. Fractions (Sides) West: 4th Marine Regiment (4th MR): The Group is conducting peacekeeping operation. It is also has to scout AOC positions and keep eye on its military forces. This group is the main story line for this mission. The mission will ends as soon as the last member of this group will be killed. Rescue Squad: Rescue Squad will try to help main group if it will be forced to leave the island. It's primary mission to find and rescue any military survivors. Spec Ops: The Group is conducting seek and destroy mission. East: Army Corps of Cahri (AOC): Pro Russian military group from the Cahri islands. Is lead by odious leader named Puhlo Pu. They are trying to expand their military presence over the region. Despite to "peaceful measures" they are extremely invading the island with military force. To save it's influence West needs to stop or restrict AOC operations over the region. Independent: Pulau National Guard (PNG): The former leader of the Pulau islands had formed Pulau National Guard to defend and control the territory. After his death different military officers pronounced themselves as the leaders on Pulau Nation. Unfortunately this turns out into civil war. According to the latest reports NPG has been disbanded and turned into several bandit groups. Most noticed are lead by Marcio Moraz, Gonsales Capito and Solomon Maru. We do have information that some of this leaders are supported by AOC. Currently they are fighting over the island for the dominance. Note: As for now, Players will join other fraction in a random fashion after respawn only. What is fallen? Brief Game mode description Arma 3 The Fallen is a PvE / PvP game mode inspired by Tom Clancy's The Division being developed by the Arma 3 The Fallen team. It is set in a fictional city using Midtown Manhattan's city road layout, in the aftermath of a virus escaping a lab; the player, also known as an agent employed by the United States armed forces, is tasked with helping to try to fight to take back the city from enemy ai factions and combat criminal activity in its wake. The Fallen is structured with elements of role-playing games, as well as cooperative and player versus player online multiplayer, there are no cars or transport; the only way of getting around is by foot. Gameplay Arma 3 The Fallen is an action role-playing game (RPG) mode set in an open world mid-crisis city with destructible environments that can be freely explored by the players. The player's mission is to restore order by gearing up and fighting the factions trying to take over the city. The player can carry three weapons, and explosives like sticky bombs and mines and handheld throwables to fight against enemies, The game mode is played from a third-person perspective. As players progress, they earn Fallen Credits. They can use this in-game currency to buy weapons and gear, and use the Credits to learn perks. You can progress through tier levels to get better perks. The player's gear is categorized into seven levels of rarity and commonality: worn, standard, specialized, superior, high-end, gear set items or the rarer exotic items. Gear can be either bought with credits at the vendors, or found as in-game loot, or crafted from gathered blueprints. There are 3 perk tier categories these are Medical, Security, and Tech. By battling AI and players, completing tasks and objectives this grants the player credits which the player can spend to gain access to new perks and more XP meaning they can fight harder and better AI and higher perk tiered and level players easier, the higher your player level the more chance you have of getting better gear, guns and rarities.The game mode features a dynamic weather system which may bring benefits or disadvantages to players. For instance, storms and mist can hinder a player's visibility and make aiming difficult. The game will also feature a day-night cycle which can change the aggressiveness of the ai in the game. PVE The core gameplay of The fallen is Player vs Environment. The Agents will go against AI Factions. These Factions are split into Tier systems of how dangerous they are (1 is the easiest). Each faction has identifiable gear and items on them and different factions will give you various loot and monetary rewards for killing them. All factions will immediately be hostile towards the player upon seeing them. Some of the AI factions will require help from friends due to number or difficulty. There are 2 player hubs and 7 safe houses throughout the world, these are where you will get missions. Missions are the best way to get rewards and content and give you the highest chances of rewards as you are helping the populace The main hub is where you will respawn when you die and is considered to be the central hub of the world, often most missions will send you through or back here, the hub is a good location to talk to players and try and set up a group. Groups We have no player factions, every player is a part of the Agency, instead, players can form groups, these groups are run by their group leader and it is up to them what tasks and areas they operate in. PVP/Dark Agents In the Fallen zone agents can decide to go rogue otherwise known as going dark. This is the PvP element of the game mode. These agents are marked on the map and can be killed for a reward but also kill other players for their gear and gain the reward. Dark agents are the most extreme and dangerous ways of getting rewards and gear and are one of the hardest methods on the server for gaining gear. Fallen Zone The Fallen zone is where the virus first spread and is the most hit area, thus this area is extremely dangerous. At Fallen Zone 9 Also known as FZ-9 of the Fallen zone is the lab where the virus was created and is one of the most dangerous locations in the game. A Lot of equipment and people were left in this zone as the military tried to gain a foothold and stop the spread of the virus. This area is where a lot of high-end weapons were left behind when the military fell back beyond the quarantine wall because of the increased violence and infection rates in this area. Specialist equipment must be worn to even enter the Fallen zone... Better quality items can be found within the Fallen Zone, but are considered "contaminated"; contaminated loot can be stolen by other players and must be flown out via helicopter in order for them to be available to the player after they leave the Fallen Zone. Players can be accompanied by other friendly agents, however, anyone can turn against each other at any moment, this is called going dark. Players credits may drop if they die too often in the zone. Backstory The year is 2020 a supervirus escaped a lab when there was a massive gas leak leading to an explosion; most of the specimens were contained or were killed by the scorching heat of the flames...but this supervirus escaped the flames through survivors using their bodies as a trojan horse and incubator to ravage through the host’s body, through the flames and into the city population, this supervirus was phage and antibiotic-resistant and ravaged through the population of the city within 14 hrs of infecting patient zero of this viral epidemic, this supervirus was highly infectious and caused symptoms of coughing, sneezing, sweating, viral rash and major respiratory problems leading to lung collapsation. The supervirus was known as the Neo-Virus named after the lab called Neo Virology Laboratories that was based in the part of the city we now call the fallen zone, this virus caused widespread chaos, and the city was placed under quarantine. The U.S. Government activated sleeper agents in the population, they are tasked with restoring order in the city. They combat criminal groups, such as the Rioters, common street thugs who generally want to take advantage of the quarantine, and the Cleaners these are insane City Sanitation workers who wield flamethrowers and believe everyone is infected, You even fight blacked agents who have gone insane after witnessing the chaos and destruction caused during the breakdown of order following the initial outbreak. You also can fight an ai faction called "Darked Suppressors" (DS) that were originally the front line against the darkness that swallowed this fallen city, a blacked private military company that was abandoned by the government during the evacuation, and are now hostile to it. A Fallen Zone is a place that has been left behind and fallen into chaos. This is where the lab was and there is evidence of the damage and how badly the supervirus hit this area of the city, the government walled this part of the city off as a last-ditch effort to keep the infection contained, It’s your job to survive and help the city get back on its feet, will you be the hero or turn your back on your people.. let’s find out! Factions During the short period of this disaster, groups have formed into factions. Most factions within the zone are enemy factions but some factions are friendly or neutral to our cause and will help us during firefights or even give us supply, shelter and gear. Civilians You will have AI civilians walking around the map, some may have missions so make sure to go up to them and check as they have good rewards. Enemy Factions The following are the most prevalent enemy factions, these are the ones that are the most dangerous to us or we know where they are. Cleaners The cleaners are an enemy faction that wants to kill the virus by burning everything...but they believe everyone is infected and won't stop at anything to burn everyone and everyone to death! Darkness Suppressors ( DS ) "Darked Suppressors" (DS) that were originally the front line against the darkness that swallowed this fallen city, a blacked private military company that was abandoned by the government during the evacuation, and are now hostile to it. Looters Looters are AI that attacks people for their loot, they only care about their own survival in this world and will do anything they can to benefit themselves for a higher chance of survival. Hello, i'm a regular player of Zeus on multiplayer, and i've seen the series grow over the years(ARMA 2, ARMA 2 OA, ARMA 3, etc) During ARMA 2, Warfare/CTI was probably my favorite gamemode. I was wondering, could there be modules and objects in place for the zeus to utilize, in order to construct a similar scenario to that of CTI/Warfare like in ARMA 2 with ease? More specifically, I was thinking about features like such: in-game place-able marketplace for players to purchase new vehicles, weapons, and ammo, etc on the field(This will allow players to provide for themselves instead of relying on zeus to always add items) -in-game currency automatically rewarded to players for killing enemies, completing objectives, etc(Required mechanic for the above) Ability for teams to vote a single player as commander to allow the construction of friendly structures such as possible FOBs(new respawn points by choice of the players) Module for Zeus to occupy a town with selected enemy forces of choice. Anything else that makes sense These were some of the additions I thought of, any suggestions are appreciated. Why did I suggest these changes? I feel like the Zeus, currently, is a little handicapped in some aspects. To supply players with non-default class weapons and equipment, Zeus must place down dozens of crates to allow players to have variety or simply find the gun that the players want(Why not just have it all in one Virtual Arsenal type of system) Also, i'm aware that there are vehicles respawns, but they have been known to crash the game for the Zeus, and sometimes players don't necessarily need the same vehicle continuously. Minimizing unnecessary clutter is obviously ideal for performance. I feel like some of these additions would help lighten the load on any Zeus just starting out as well. Because I feel like some of these things should be automated; and players should be able to have a bit more freedom without relying on the Zeus all the time.

SLS Modpack We have a brand new server currently open to the public! On a normal day we run the KPliberation mode, but we often make events for anyone to attend! These events can range from a milsim type operation to something a little more fun like a STALKER theme. (Definitely planned and in the works now by me.) A friend of mine is finally getting a gaming PC, and is very eager to join me on an Exile server, as he has been watching me play for months. My name is John but I go by snake in game on mostly hostile takeover servers.Steam name bojangles2020 or also Snake.Im here today for the first time to post to the community.i have been playing Arma 3 since the beginning and built many missions.i like to go more smaller based missions with high intensity.depending on mods may determine difficulty.i create missions for my friends and myself to play and we are always looking for new people to join in on the fun.currently I'm working on a mission using the ALIVE mod to have a persistent battle across-the-board.maybe week long missions or longer.a place where you can save and come back and not repeat one area.Also I make special ops type missions where the run time could be 30 minutes or 2 hours.Its all up to the player.I don't mind taking requests for something your mind can conjure up!!I hear guys say Arma 3 is past it's time but let's change that perception.FYI I have no group at the moment.All the current guys just want to come and chill and have fun.Some even role play characters to really bring the missions to life.If you read this far thank you and hope to see you in the lobby!

YouTube Advert: Who are we? Zeus Community, an open community which has been playing Arma since the OFP days in 2001. Our Teamspeak server is our primary home with more information available via our website, forum and Discord channel. Links provided below. What should I expect on your server? We strive for Milsim oriented gameplay. In the hierarchical command structure, players are expected to follow the orders of their superiors and take responsibility of their subordinates. Communication and teamwork is key. Lone-wolfing, purposely ignoring commands, and other selfish behaviours will not be tolerated. We do employ some basic Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and radio procedures for the sake of efficiency but nothing overly complex which can't be understood quickly while playing. We play mostly cooperative (PvE) missions at platoon scale (around 30 players) though we have been known to play Team vs Team (PvP) missions on occasion. How many ArmA 3 servers do you run? Three main game servers: A “vanilla” public server (#1), an “addon” server (#2), and a "CDLC" server (#3). The vanilla public server is open to anyone interested in milsim gameplay, experienced or new, as long as you don’t break server rules of course. For the public server, there is not a mandatory mod requirement though we do often play missions which require official DLC such as Apex for the Tanoa terrain. However, it is strongly recommended that players to connect to our Teamspeak server (even if you don't have a mic) since we use Teamspeak for pre-mission briefing, post-mission debriefing, and on-mission squad comms (instead of group/green channel). We also recommend that players install our optional custom modpack called "ZClient" which includes very useful client-side mods such as ShackTac HUD (see Info Repo link below). On the other hand, the addon server requires all players to have a working mic and installation of our custom addon server modpacks which includes gameplay enhancing mods such as ACE3, ACRE 2, RHS, additional terrains and more. It is recommended that newcomers try out our vanilla public server before considering moving on to our addon server where gameplay is slightly more hardcore (i.e. always revive vs permanent death). The CDLC server can be considered a hybrid of the previous two servers mentioned where we play most CDLCs (e.g. SOG Prairie Fire, Global Mobilization, Western Sahara) in a weekly rotation. Mod-wise, ACRE2 is required (as well as any necessary CDLC-ACRE compatibility mod if using Steam Workshop mod version) but other than that, all that is recommended is to also run our optional modpack mentioned earlier "ZClient". What times do you play? Zeus Community #1 Public: Gamenight every Sunday, start 18:30 UK time (GMT/BST) Zeus Community #2 Addon: Gamenight every Saturday & Wednesday, start 18:30 UK time (GMT/BST) Zeus Community #3 CDLC: Gamenight every Thursday, start 18:30 UK time (GMT/BST) Why should I choose Zeus Community? Milsim gameplay but without the role-playing fluff. While the missions we run on our servers do employ a hierarchical command structure, the community itself (outside of gameplay) does not have player ranking, role whitelisting, or any other unnecessary RP fluff like some other milsim communities. No need for "Sir! Yes sir!". No mandatory training or minimum attendance required. We are an open community so we don't punish players if they happen to have a busy life and can't commit to playing games on a regular basis. We only ask that you don't slot into mission critical roles (e.g. squad leader, pilot, etc.) for a mission if there is a reasonable chance that you may have to go AFK for significant periods of time. Also, although we do employ basic SOPs, radio comm procedures, and we do organise optional training sessions, we don't require newcomers to undergo mandatory training before they can play. Just listen to your leaders, follow the example of more experienced players and you will quickly familiarise yourself with how we operate. In-community developed, custom missions. Using the 3den Editor tool, 99% of the missions we run on our servers are developed by the community, for the community. While we do allow our community’s developers creative freedom, we still maintain quality standards for our missions. Do note that, despite a coincidence in the name, we actually rarely play Zeus Game Master missions (our community name predates ArmA 3's ZGM gamemode). High frequency of brand new missions to play. Most milsim communities are stuck with a relatively small pool of missions to replay for months where new missions are produced on an infrequent basis. Our community on the other hand, benefits from a combined pool of around 600+ missions and produces an average of 5 brand new missions across both servers each week for the community to play. Mission diversity. Unlike many other milsim communities, we don't limit ourselves to particular factions, equipment, vehicles or mission objectives. In one mission you may be a guerrilla fighter with limited equipment tasked with ambushing an enemy convoy, and then in the next mission you may be a tank crewman in a combined arms scenario with CAS and artillery support. Even revive or respawn mechanics (or lack thereof) can differ between missions. Diversity is the spice of life.
