The plot is simple; As a Soviet soldier you most lead your men in 12 various missions and slowly take control of the island. Fun fact: I'm not a pro, just an OFP fan, been making missions for a few years but only for myself. My friend persuaded me to make a full campaign from several missions, so here it is. As I said earlier it's not comparable to the official campaigns for example (no fancy cutscenes) let's just say, that I just binded some missions together in chronological order. At first, the group is able to cause harm to the Russian intruders, but little by little, Tomas sees the strength of the movement crumbling and deteriorating. As eventually Dimitri is killed in an Russian ambush and Tomas, all at once, loses everything he loves and cares for, the resistance fighter finds himself all alone, devitalized and a broken man. In his darkest hour, Tomas is suddenly contacted by an agent of the U.S. intelligence, who is able to light up a small flame in the young Chernarussian again.   3. Hi community, the first post after being registrated for 5 years. Why? I was a silent reader for years and forgot that I was registrated 😉 But now to my topic on hand. For the whole history of the Arma Franchise there is only one really great singleplayer campaign, Cold War Crisis. Remnants of War is also fantastic with a great storytelling (maybe even better than Cold War Crisis), but really short. All the other Campaigns were okay to solid, but none was as fantastic as Cold War Crisis and Remnants of War. My idea is that we combine the knowledge of everyone willing to contribute into one team to create a fantastic, long and immersive campaign of which the whole Arma-Community could be proud. Why should one modder do every job in campaign creation when it isn´t only much more efficient to do only what you´re good at, but also to shorten development time and increase the quality of the finished product? I have seen some really good community made missions, so the talent is clearly there. Sadly I have also seen over the years, that popular topics (Operation Neptune Spear, Operation Gothic Serpent, Operation Overlord) are done many times and there is little to no difference between the versions, that is collectively viewed just wasted time, in which a different scenario could have been created. In my imagination everybody could help. You have no idea of the editor but could write a great story or a believeable and deep biography of a character? Great, that is needed! You speak two or more languages? Great, a localizer is found. You´re an editor nerd who didn´t have a good story in mind? Great, also needed! You can´t help in editing but you would give your voice for a character? Great, also needed! You have features or scenarios in mind that you want to see in the Campaign? Great, ideas are welcome as well. You could help solving editing problems? Also needed! You want to help test the finished campaign and iron out bugs? Also needed. Maybe we could also create needed mods if there is something missing. Yes I know that it is very broad and nothing specific, but I wanted to write this to you all to read if there is interest on such a community campaign. Also I imagine of the establishment of easy and fast help with your own problems in editing in a way that is both convenient and efficient, but by now I have no idea how that could be done. Maybe there is a pool of experts for every problem area which you could send your missions and they fix the problem for you in exchange for your expertise on their problems. If you have questions or an opinion on the topic feel free to communicate that, I would be happy if I could read your opinions. Greetings

  5. Hi! I found a program called "Flashpoint Campaign Wizard 1.0.1 by Miker Andrew" This was made as a tool to easily make a full ofp campaign. So I quickly tied two of my random Arma missions to see if it worked... It actually did so I just started making proper missions (with story, descripitons and music and such) so I could make some kind of campaign to my friends or to upload it somewhere idk. I already made like 8 missions, wanted to test it but for some reason it doesn't work. Maybe cause this program was made for ofp, and not arma? I mean those are the same games, only different versions... So anyway, is there any way a simple mission maker like me could easily put a campaign together? I mean I don't need them fancy cutscenes and stuff, just like 15 mission after one another you know... BTW I hope this is the right place to post this... lol

I am currently in the process of designing a Campaign and want feedback on my idea and eventually when I start rolling out mission's them as well. Since moving over to ACE I've loved the ballistic system as part of it. I was inspired by Igneous01 - ArmA 2 Campaign and wanted to create something similar but on the ArmA 3 Platform. However, I wanted to make something that is also co-op but was unsure if that is possible so please feel free to comment down below. I also didn't want thousands of mods I wanted to use mods that are the most popular on the Steam Workshop but like I've said if you have any suggestions please mention them below. And now I'm ready to pick up something I was messing about with end of last year: The Original Ghost Recon campaign from 2001 based on the Russian annex of Georgia but for my campaign will be heading to Chernarus including Winter Chernarus. I already know I can't reproduce all of the missions as the original campaign moves to Russia itself and there are some missions which are just not possible to recreate. But, I have been working on several remakes including recreations of: Caves Farm Night POW Camp Castle Night Sub Pens and one or two others. With the Apex coop campaign you only have to enter the missions in the server.cfg. The entire creation of the campaign took 23 days (testing, finding sounds, adding extras, fixing glitches, testing, fixing the story and etc). Information about the campaign: About: _ The campaign is based in the conflict of 1985 (Campaign Cold War Crisis), BUT! played from the side of the Resistance. We will have meeting with the main characters of well known campaign "CWC", as David, James, Robert, Sam, Blake, Drill Sergeant, David's Squadron, and etc. The campaign will show the most important parts of the conflict, since day zero until the end of the war (on everon). Playable Characters: -Lukas Bocek (Corporal) [10 Missions] -Ian Stoyan (Commander in Chief) [1 Mission] Missions and Cutscenes: -11 Missions -12 Cutscenes (Couting pre-missions cutscene) Easter Eggs: -4 Easter Eggs Idioms: Español English Tips: -Stay near your team leader always. -Keep your temmates alive -Don't disobey orders (really important) (you will end dead or the mission will end ASAP) -Play by the rules, and stay sharp all the time. -Your actions will define the ending (not always) -Be patient in some missions, or you will be forced to be patient! -Go to Options > Audio Options and set your Effects and Radio in 9.6 and Music at 8.3 (optional) -You will do time-jumps! One mission can be in May 2 and other in Jun 9, same with some cutscenes. To make it simple i want it like this Mission 7, tonk can survive or be destroyed Mission 8 only triggers if tonk survives (i know how to do this) Mission 8, tonk is either stolen or destroyed Mission 9 is triggered if tonk is destroyed (skips over mission eight) Mission 9, >>>tonk appears in mission, depending on if it was stolen in mission 8, or destroyed<<< that is my question please help thanks

TvT/PvP Campaign Framework (TvTCF) 1.08 by Engima Overview This is a framework that makes is easy for anyone with some scripting experience to create beautiful, story-driven, exciting, light weight and well working multiplayer (TvT/PvP) campaigns in Arma 3. The first campaign built on this framework is Operation Shoe Lace. Features Multiplayer 1-40 players. Supports creation of TvT/PvP, COOP and SP campaigns. As many missions as you want. Missions are 30 minutes long (as maximum) Missions can have primary and secondary objectives (and a "return to base objective") All missions begin with an insertion into an area of action. No revive! Spectate on death. Campaigns are dynamic. Missions can affect each other, and order of missions can be altered, during the campaign. Score. Successful objectives and players kept alive earns score for their team. The team with the highest total score when the campaign ends wins. AI bots can be used on both sides (useful when playing e.g. one vs one). Easy to get grip of. Full documentation about mission mechanics in dialogs and briefing. How it works A TvTCF campaign is actually one Arma 3 mission that is divided into different episodes (TvTCF missions). The mission "resets" itself between each episode, which makes it possible to create a campaign story in which each mission is independent and executed one by one by the "campaign engine". How to use This five parts tutorial covers everything, from a newly installed Arma 3 instance (in Windows) until the campaign is played.   15. Overthrow is a dynamic [SP/CO16] revolution simulator campaign built for ARMA 3. Description: Overthrow simulates undertaking a grass-roots revolution against an oppressive NATO occupation of your home. Altis, Tanoa (Apex required of course), and Malden are currently supported. Start in a in a small town with nothing, and fight your way to remove the occupying NATO forces from the Island. There is no single way to Overthrow, which is what makes it exciting and unique. Head on combat, guerrilla tactics, or economic domination are all possible. ACE and CBA are required, and Advanced towing is integrated. Our overall focus is to ensure that all player actions matter, and that things behave generally as you would expect them to in the real world. It was inspired by the great times we had playing the original "Antistasi" dynamic campaign. We would love you to help us test our mod, and help guide future development. Updates (24 July 2017): APEX no longer required, and an Altis, Malden campaigns have been added. Get ready for more community-map additions soon! Current Version is 0.7.5.3, released 15th July 2017. I realized that Bohemia do not support MP custom campaigns, so I created a solution for it. I hope you will like it! Features Multiplayer 2-10 players. Team vs Team. Two teams fighting against each other. Campaign divided into seven missions, each with a maximum length of 30 minutes. Storyline adapting to the teams’ achievements. No revive! Dead is dead until next mission starts. Score. Successful objectives and players kept alive earns score for their team. The team with the highest total score when the campaign ends wins.   17. Well, I'm disappointed. I thought I would be able to make an addon that would enable team switcher in the single player campaign (or any single player mission). Apparently not. Firstly, I started the Fait Accompli mission as specs ops in ArmA 3's Stepping Stone mini-campaign. The team switcher key (default is U) is disabled, the team switcher window does not show up. Secondly, using the Simple Single Player Cheat Menu, I ran: enableTeamSwitch true; The team switcher now works! But there are no soldiers in it. So let's select a team member: _units = units group player; // [BIS_SpecialPlayer,B Pariah:2,B Pariah:3,B Pariah:4] _unit = _units select 2; // B Pariah:3 So close, now let's make him switchable: addSwitchableUnit _unit; Aaaand nothing happens. Weirdly, when I press the team switcher button it is now disabled (nothing shows up). Even if I run enableTeamSwitch true again it remains disabled, almost as if it knows I'm trying to hack it. Does anyone know why this is? Anyone have any solutions? I'm a fan of the Arma 3 single player experience and a addon that would enable team switcher in the single player campaign would be brilliant! It would give missions a GTA V feel where you can switch from a sniper you've put on a hill instantly to a HMG operator in the middle of the action... 😞 seems to be locked off though. Any ideas, it is a bit of a hack so I guess it might not be possible. Update, I can manually switch player doing this, so I think it's just a matter of creating my own team switcher window: _gang = units group player; _target = _gang select 2; selectPlayer _target; Still if any BI staff or geniuses have any tricks to 'properly' allow the team switcher in a single player mission I would be interested! Update and TLDR, once enabled, team switch works perfectly in all sp campaigns. It's ONLY Stepping Stone that aggresively shuts down Team Switch. Why is this?

The custom HUD was designed before I had full knowledge of the Pixel Grid system, so the interface may not work properly unless you have your interface size set to 'very small.' This will likely be addressed as development on Act 2 continues. Due to Nirvana using Arma 3 in ways it was perhaps not intended for, it is likely that some things may break or behave unpredictably as time goes on. Our unit is modeled after the real life counter part with certain adapted for gameplay.   20. Defying the Odds Brought to you by HelicopterEnthusiast and zigTtzag(zTt) After testing a mission a few months back zTt was like why not create a campaign? I refused saying it was too hard. We can make more missions in the same amount of time. A few weeks back however the campaign started being constructed! Now the campaign being constructed was revealed to our website subscribers alone but the download links and such will be available to all! Story: In Afghanistan there was a leader called Dahid Kazat. Kazat was a patriot. He loved his country and his people. He wanted his country to prosper by taking advantage of the oil reserves located at Lythium. It was a clever idea and it would surely result in his country prospering and his people forgetting about the immense difficulties they face due to being poor. There was an issue however. Oil attracts the Strong Countries of the world. Especially when in 2035 oil reserves get more and more scarce. Because of the above, NATO decided that Kazat had not what it takes to deal with the power that oil reserves would provide him. Due to that NATO demanded all oil reserves from Kazat while providing no help to the people of Afghanistan. Kazat did not agree! They tried to bribe him, they threatened his family and yet he said no. So NATO found a nice way to get rid of Kazat. They chose to fund rebel organization Al Shilak. They gave them weapons, ammunition and all needed in order to bring down Kazat and they succeeded. Kazat was killed and propaganda made the people of Afghanistan to agree about the homicide. Yet again an issue arose. The people of Afghanistan did not only agree with the murder. They also agreed with whatever Al Shilak supports. That is that NATO is to blame for everything. That now that Al Shilak controls the country they should be the ones dealing with the oil reserves. That the people of Afghanistan should rebel! From that point on, Lythium has turned into a battlefield. NATO was unable to deal with the locals and after many casualties they lost control of Lythium and they are now dealing with a force that wants to expand Afghanistan borders! Here is when you guys arrive. Although no country offered to help in fear of casualties, Greece is sending their best Green Berets force! Four men from Greece Special Forces have been dispatched to Lythium to help NATO regain control. NATO agreed to support them. If they commenced all too dangerous operations… Greece agreed. Why? Nobody knows if anybody knows. Trailer: Units: Task Force: Blue Lighting Team Leader – Chiefly Alexandros Petraklos He has been through everything! Graduating from multiple Military Academies and becoming an expert in a variety of sectors was a torment. Actually it was not. Petraklos was born for such operations. What tormented him was the bureaucracy and the needed encounters with officialdom in order to become a Green Berets Team Leader. Marksman – Sergeant Ioannis Kalinos A graduate from the Basic Sniper Training for Special Operations Academy. The time needed to read that equals with the time Kalinos needs for 3 headshots at a 1,5 km distance! That is exactly why the Green Berets recruited him. Disregarding his tension to remain silent, a Blue Lightning slot is surely his. Explosive Specialist – Sergeant Konstantinos Koromilas His graduation certificate comes from the Evelpidon Military Academy. Apart from that, he does not talk much. All we know is that he likes explosives and whatever causes mayhem. Welcome aboard Koromila! You are just the person we need for the Blue Lighting Green Berets team. Medic - Corporal Lambros Katechakis Coming from 7 yearlong studies he graduated from the Army Officers Military Academy. AOMA, which he finds boring, trained him to become a Medic and be an expert in Emergency Medicine. After his graduation, he was assigned to the Green Berets Blue Lightning team and has since found out that the real military is by no means boring. Head Quarters – Lieutenant Tasos Balaoritis Also a graduate of the Army Officers Military Academy but not a Medic. Balaoritis was trained to become a Military Psychologist. Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder or any sort of disorder has no chance in front of his skills. Calm as anyone can be he provides support to all Green Berets operations. Pilot – Corporal Antonis Fidelis Only typically did he need to graduate from the Air Force Academy. Piloted his first chopper at the age of 15 and his first plane when he was 17. That is what happens when your father owns a Flight School. Due to his amazing skills in Army Aviation vehicles, the Green Berets Blue Lightning team immediately recruited him.   22. I am trying to figure out how to script AI to open a gate in a mission. A basic security checkpoint gate that is part of the map (NOT a spawned object) keeps getting smashed by my HMMWV instead of it being opened and driven through. Can anyone help?

STORYLINE June 2034, Altis is in turmoil. The island has been cut off from the outside world due to economical and physical blockades. The local populous has grown impatient with the government and the AFF in particular. Several demonstrations have resulted in the deaths of tens of civilians. The government was losing control rapidly and called in the help of CSAT. A mistake that would cost them dearly. CSAT saw a golden opportunity to get a much needed foothold in the Mediterranean area. The AAF requested a single battalion of CSAT Infantry. Instead CSAT send the entire 2nd brigade and soon CSAT outnumbers AAF by 11:1. Altis government realized that they lost control completely and stepped down. CSAT General Tehrani has since been in power and controls all of Altis and Stratis. CSAT is now proven a serious threat to the European region. As diplomatic efforts have not lead to the anticipated result, NATO decided to send a rapid task force to free both islands from CSAT oppression. DEVGRU has been ordered by J.S.O.C. to take out several high value threads on Altis before the NATO campaign commences. Wolf has been tasked with executing 10 missions over a period of 3-4 weeks. Your first mission commences 11 June. JSOC expects a HVT to arrive and inspect the CSAR Frini base tomorrow. Wolf will eliminate the HVT once he arrives at the base. Due to the sensitive nature of this mission, detailed objectives will be given on a need to know basis once you have reached the RV. Our local on the ground will do an extensive briefing. DAY 02 - KAJMAN FIRE - CSAT has taken over the Abdera Airfield and turned the airfield into a helicopter base. The base is home to the 127 AAC Squadron with 6 or 8 Kajman Attack helicopters and to the 17 Air Support Group. The Kajman is a formidable opponent and can do some serious damage to the upcoming campaign. About one kilometer north east lies the village of Krya Nera. This used to be a little fisherman's village until CSAT stationed a small fleet of attack vessels there. Primary objective: Abdera Airfield, sabotage all Kajman Attack helicopters stationed at the airfield. Secondary objective: Krya Nera Naval Base, take control of the Naval Base and wait for further instructions. DAY 03 - SWITCH OFF - CSAT's primary communications station is situated on the outskirts of Kavala. It is essential we disrupt communications before we commence the NATO invasion. The nearby power station provides power to the Kavala region, including the communications station. We need to take both out in order to be sure that CSAT's ability to communicate is disrupted. Primary objective: Sabotage the communications station. Secondary objective: Sabotage the power station. DAY 04 - TOP SCREEN - CSAT's propaganda campaign is out of control. Their fear and retribution series broadcasted on television and radio has caused grave concerns both locally and abroad. We need the local populous on our side once the invasions commences. We need to shut down the Altis Broadcasting Company (ABC) in the Capital of Altis, Pyrgos. Sabotage the ABC headquarters. You'll be filled in on the specifics once you are close to the objective. DAY 05 - BULLSEYE - Maj. F. Kallaziz's replacement has arrived in Pyrgos, Maj. Farrokhzad. We know very little about Maj. Farrokhzad. According to Niko, the major has already made his mark by having tens of civilians arrested. Supposedly there is a public hanging the day after tomorrow. CIA and MIS are working hard to get more intel about this guy. So it looks like your Wolf troops are going back to Pyrgos. Your objective is to find intel on Maj. Farrokhzad.

Your orders are to insert west of Zoros Bay and take out the radar installation at Barcelona and the AA-emplacements at Istanbul. DAY 07 - U-12 - Our man on the ground, Nikos got captured by CSAT Intelligence Services. Nikos knows too much about the upcoming campaign. We need to break him out before they fly him back to the CSAT capital. Nikos is currently being held in a secret prison codenamed 'U-12'. It is located in Thelos Bay on the east coast of Altis. Wolf is to secure and retrieve Nikos Fotopoulos. DAY 08 - ICE TIGER - The last two weeks, SatNav has been tracking a heavy armored squadron consisting of 6 T140 MBT's, 1 x Tigris and supporting units. SatNav lost Ice Tiger due to severe overcast weather. According to Nikkos, Ice Tiger should be in the North Western part of Altis. We need confirmation on its exact location. Your orders are to locate Ice Tiger. DAY 09 - DRAGONFLY - Two days ago the 127 Republican Wing Squadron, an elite squadron of TO-199 bombers touched down at Stratis Airbase. The 13th MEU is scheduled to assault Stratis in three days. This can only happen when those TO-199's have been disposed off. We'll advise objectives and targets when you're on the ground. DAY 10 - DOBERMAN - Your last mission is a high risk mission in Kavala. We are still gathering intel. We'll brief you when you're oscar mike.
