I try make plugin for Mumble 1.1.8

Alpha version done. Need test.

i use FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE 1.96 (3694671 bytes).

what you think about it?

Very interesting repeat!

We're toying with these ideas for arma/arma2, integrated radio's and possibly some more etc.

Phillip Rauch will love this topic :)

How you do it with some dsound.dll hook thing?

We work on something slightly different, controlling mumble/murmur from within ArmA .. sry no OFP :)

I get source code of wow plugin for mumble as example;

using software Artmoney and OllyDbg (debugger) for search address in memore where position and heading

When testing find bug. I testing alone into EDITOR. In Multiplayer mode address other. Work to fix it. I found address.

First step: rewrite plugin;

Second step: turn off plugin if player not at area (in briefing, menu and other).... go to sleep (now 23:06, wake up 05:30)

Doesnt mumble provide directional voice chat, like in Armed Assault?

i don't know how work voice chat in ArmA. After my worktime i rewrite plugin and hope it will be work properly. See u later after 8 hours

Great job, repeat, looking forward to actually trying this with my friends at our next LAN game :)

I've read a bit on the way Positional Audio settings work, it seems the Minimum Volume means you'll always hear players at that volume beyond maximum distance. So if you want to have this behaving like Arma's Direct Chat make sure to set Minimum Volume to 0. Also, it would be useful to bind a key to Force Center Position (add it in Configure > Settings > Shortcuts) and use it like any regular (non-positional) VOIP/radio.

Why not? I think that all anti-cheat the systems to protect the write in memory. I will be only read. More so plugin is working

Tested this a bit more with a friend today, it works very nice on any island if you use plain FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE, however when we tried it using WGL mod it stopped working.

when u start WGL mod do u have FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE in process? (caps up)

I think the memory location is wrong, positioning is messed up also in normal OFP (no mods) if you have AIs in mission, even if they're not playable (or if you respawn). With no AI it works (tested with 3 players).

Probably that's the memory location for the position of the first unit in mission, or something?

need testing. i played MP mission on own computer with AI (paitball mission) the plugin linking but i don't know is this work correct or not
