What's Your Favourite Mod?

I'm new to ArmA 3 and wondered what mods people would recommend giving a go?

Advanced Combat Environment(short ACE) once it comes out for ArmA3, it's literally making the game a full military simulation rather than a semi-realistic one, other than that I can highly suggest JSRS soundmod which makes pratically every sound in the game more realistic.

Yep I like the look of that!

I hear a few people slating Zombies is it as bad as they say?

I have listened to people bang on about this for ages as well, more fool me :(

Very easy to host the mods by the look of it. Think I'll set up some free modded servers.

This guy knows what up...

For me it's the subtle/little things, TMR, JSRS, SThud. they don't overhaul it completely just add a little to immersion and awareness.

STHUD is essential.

Enjoyment wise I'd have to say TPW_Fall as it just breaks up the monotony of guys taking hits in awesome ways. After that pretty much all of TPW's and Windwalking's stuff combined as well as Zooloo's Firefight mod. Dynamic AI FTW!

HAC on Altis is epic! It's exciting to see so many awesome mods out already even before the games released, and few big name arma 2 mods on their way, gonna be awesome, look forward to seeing more civilian and stalker type angles as it's a lot more fun making civilian scenarios in A3 and especially with mods like mcflays archer and hand gliding mods.

In terms of ai suppression I like windwalkers take on it, not so much micro manages them but makes them no longer oblivious to things that should concern them. And TPW adds great mods that seem to do simple but immersive things... Too many amazing mods out already for me to pick a favorite, good times :)

well, now I am making the mod, so perhaps a bit fair.

but I would like to say Swedish Forces Pack.. why?

well, its basicly the only one thats released with new proper content....

So SFP + acre, thats the way to go for me :)

Trini's Dive Mate --> SCUBA sim mod (anyone get this to work in MP yet?)

Zooloo's Bullet-Wind Interaction System --> Sniper Wind Ballistics, Fantastic!

TPW's package --> several adddons, FALL, HOUSELIGHTS, SUPPRESSION, etc

GrandQ's Swedish Forces Pack --> Epic addon, multi-package (unfinished)

spunFIN's AI Spawn Script Pack --> Amazing AI work! MUST for every map.

Too many to pick a favorite...

Hello there

TPW's bunch and ASR_AI as well as the STHUD.

In fact all the mods are great, even the ones I don't use, that's because all the mod makers are superb folk for creating these tweaks and fixes to phenomenal but imperfect game. Thank you Gents and Ladies. Your work is appreciated.

Cheers for some of those posts guys. Some class mods. Anyone play THE NEW STRATIS LIFE VERSION on ArmA2 and has anyone got it implemented on ArmA3 beta yet?

- POMI_PMC

Looking at some of the suggestions ingame, I'm always struck that at this stage of the beta (with so many already available) why aren't they implementing some of them to be part of the full version? They should have got some of these teams involved.
