Yes, there are no medic packs in last version. I remember that SHJ STODIO write that something is broken now. We must wait for update. ;)

In English version of Red Hammer there was few missions where we have tasks added "in the middle" of mission, in that case tasks was in German language. Breinburg miss them and didn't translate them to English.

I have 2-3 old campaigns on hdd but i can't force myself to translate them to english ;) Maybe someday.

Ja das mit den englischen hinzugefügten Aufgaben „in der Mitte der Mission“ ist mir auch aufgefallen tom3kb im nächsten Update habe ich das geändert.:o

With the English added tasks „in the center of the mission “me also been noticeable tom3kb is in the next update I that changed.

A while ago, someone by the name of SHJ Studio put a lot of work into the original Red Hammer campaign from the good old OFP days to make it work with Arma2 and the great Cold War Rearmed 2 mod. Unfortunately, he does only speak German, which means he could only write German briefing texts. So his release had gone unnoticed by most non-German speaking people for quite some time. I thought this would be a real pity and decided to add english briefing texts. And so with SHJStudios's expressed consent, I'm proud to re-release it here to a broader audience. It's indeed well made and the many missions give you a lot of playing time with the great CWR2 mod.

i'm getting this error message after the first mission

no entry 'bin config.bin/cfgvehicles/dshkm_gue.turncoef'.

i can't click continiue the only way is alt+f4 or taskmannager what can cause this i have the newest cwr2 and it's the only mod loaded

I don't have any error messages. In first try i launched Red Hammer v1.2 only with @cwr2. In 2nd try i launched with @cwr2 + UK and NL expansions, also with Cwr2 Canard and Cwr2 Drechenfals islands and with JSRS and Blastcore. No errors. All ok.

I hadn't checked in the Forums for a while so I missed that he was sitting on a basically done update, waiting for just a few minor translations, sorry for that guys.

To get back to the issue of other language translations: The stringtables are already perfectly prepared for French, Italian and Spanish, so if anyone wants to invest a few hours in this campaign, you can just grab the latest version, unpack it, open the stringtable.csv file in each mission and fill in the words. Pretty self-explanatory, as some strings (from the cutscene dialogues) already have all languages. When you are done, notify SHJStudio so he can update the campaign, and then the next translator can start his turn. Because Google translates badly, you should know that language REALLY well, and have sufficient English or maybe German skills in order to understand what's written there. Some very basic knowledge how to operate a plain text editor may be helpful, too...

First line tells you the pattern, it can be regarded as the head of a table, explaining each column. Each line just has to have the same number of commas in order to work properly (commas inside quotation marks don't count, so no problem if you have a longer sentence that needs a comma in it). Just fill in your language at the proper spot, e.g. French:

STR_briefing_03,"Diary","Journal",,,"Tagebuch",comment

or Italian:

STR_briefing_03,"Diary",,"Diario",,"Tagebuch",comment

Are you sure it needs CBA?

At least it doesn't do harm, and most people will have it anyway, but to be sure I'll add it in the first post.

I don't think Red Hammer needs CBA, yesterday i run this campaign only with Cwr2. Without @cba, no errors in first two missions.

Ich klaube auch nicht das die Kampagne CBA benötigt.

Ich habe sie nur mit CBA Bearbeitet kann gut sein das Red Hammer auch ohne CBA läuft. Ich klaube nicht, das es ohne CBA zu Fehler Meldungen kommt.

there is a bug in mission 4 Repulsion i got the evidence i defended the town but when i'm reporting in nothing happens i tried to do the shift minus end mission cheat it then says mission failed and that i don't have the evidence so it's impossible to on from there

nevermid this post it seems that you have to take the road and not through the woods as the end trigger is placed on the road somewhere

Hallo Pressytcn meinst du die Mission 04escort? Leider kann ich kein Englisch und das Übersetzungsprogramm gibt keine genaue angaben was du für ein Bug gefunden hast. Die Mission 4 Repulsion kenne ich nicht, befindet sich auch nicht in der Kampagne. Bitte um genaue angaben um was für ein Missionsordner es sich handelt.

yes, there is a mission called Repulsion (in German "Abwehr"), file (or rather folder) name is 06defend.eden (where you are tasked to shoot down a bunch of Chinooks, then finish off a few resistance fighters at a castle). But as you can check in the editor, there is no way you can "escape" the end trigger(s) by accidently going around it, the trigger boxes cover the whole area. So when you got the evidence from inside the castle, you may use any route to head in the direction of the base. Well MAYBE it won't trigger the end if you repaired one of the choppers and flew completely around the island, or take a very long swim. But if you stay on the island, it should end properly. So if you say "going through the woods" didn't trigger it, then this is certainly a different problem. But maybe some scripts didn't initiate properly, as can also happen with the chopper task e.g. if you are too fast in destroying them. Just try replaying the mission if something is fishy with the tasks.

Ich fand einen Weg es zu schaffen. Ich fuhr die Strasse entlang und beendete die Mission. Ich fuhr durchden Wald ohne Erfolg, aber du fährst einfach weiter und beendest alle Aufgaben. Ich glaube der Auslöser der die Mission beendet ist irgendwo am Ende der Stadt. Dort wo man zum Lager gelangt. Man sollte einfach nur über die Strasse fahren, nicht durch den Wald.

found out the way to handle it on I was driving down the road so ended the mission I first drove through the woods without success but you are just driving down the road then end the mission when all tasks was completed i think it is because the end trigger is set somwhere near the town you drive through on you way to the camp bu all in all it works i should just have taken the roud and not through the woods i hope the translation is ok i had a friend helping out on it

Mission (06defend.eden)

Der Auslösebereich für den Auslöser Ende: 1 geht diagonal über die ganze Insel er müsste eigentlich auslösen. Ich denke das es ein Fehler war der mannschmal vor kommen kann. Ich hatte in OFP Zeiten auch Missionen die mannschmal nicht zum Ende kamen warum auch immer musste dann die Mission noch mal neu starten und konnte diese dann problemlos beenden.

The trigger area for the trigger end: 1 goes diagonally across the island, he would have to actually trigger. I think it is a mistake of the times can occur. I also had issues with the OFP times were not the end for whatever reason. I restarted the mission and then was able to finish this problem.
