- Navy Seals Spec Ops Units with balaclava skull masks -

Hi , this is my first addon for Arma 3 (and for all arma serie) so its just a little work of texturing and configuring units for my training , and then i want share this first addon with you :)

Navy Seals Spec Ops Units with balaclavas- Version 1.1 (update)

-Added Units With new Skull and No Skull masks.

-Added two uniforms models : Multicam and Urban digital Coverall:

-With Navy Seals patches on Multicam uniform and cap.

-Units are equiped with M4a1 weapons from the great Alwarren's addon "FHQ M4 for Arma 3" (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=19218) (included)

-My addon mask is based on the work of Icewindo from his addon Blackops-SwatUnits http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?150396-Blackop-Swat-Units

-Equiped with assault backpacks

In editor you can find units in blufor>Spec Ops Seals (Infantry Skull mask and Infantry No skull mask sections).

You can add the skull mask to your player by adding :

this setface "SkullFaceMask";

or

this setface "NoSkullMask";

for mask without skull in editor INI field of your unit. Or selecting face in options of the game > profil > face > "SkullFace01" or "MaskFace01"

Ai units already have the skull mask by default.

Would be nice if you could release a version without the skull on the masks for variety and maybe add units in coveralls (green and grey). Great work though!

Your welcome and thank you for your work. As for the camo vests, it would be nice to have black vests to use with the units, especially for the units in coveralls.

I have started to work on coverall camo and black vest, i don't know if its the right colors.....i will work also on mask without skull after....wip....

Love the black vest. The coveralls are already in the game, you can find the uniform texture at "\A3\characters_f\data\ui\icon_U_B_PilotCoveralls_ca.paa" or in your config use "U_B_HeliPilotCoveralls". The coveralls is basically a stand in for nomex fire retardant uniforms that are used for CQB operations. Can you post a pic of your units without the tactical glasses? Would like to see how it looks without glasses or the skull pattern. Nice camo by the way.

Ok, thanks for your explanations for coveralls, i didn't really know, i will make new screens without glasses and skull tomorrow.:)

Great work! That would be great for use for terrorists and gangs. Could you also make one with open eyes and closed mouth that is usually worn by SWAT and other units:

Looking good! In that same file where you found the digital, you can also find OD green and some other camos.

Interesting balaclava, where is it from?

I have reworked balaclavas from textures files and balaclava of the ghillie suit.

Why your Seals have "PW" ("Polska WalczÄ…ca" - "Poland Fighting") signs on their vests? Are these Seals polish patriots? :)

Sorry, of course, SEALs. "PW" looks weird on US soldiers's vests, but the addon looks nice as a whole, keep up the good work!

Thank you for the great job with this addon!

Beeing new to Arma I wonder if there is a way to find out the classnames for the uniform items in a addon like this, so I can mix and match with other mods and so on?

If not, maybe the author would be nice enough to post the classnames in this thread?

Nice work and good to see a new modder here. BUT if you use my blackops addon as a basis for your addon you could mention me in the credits. That's how stuff works around here. In theory even stricter restrictions may apply. It took me quite some time how to configure the new custom mask faces to work in A3 (wound textures still not though).

You can also delete this from your pbo:

m_white_01_injury.rvmat.TXT -> this was a dummy created by me for storing a pasted name of the rvmat

res_sabot_co.paa -> dont think that's used by your addon

sabot.rvmat -> see above
