Arma3 not starting due ZoneAlarm - no need to uninstall

All,

Had the same starting issue from Steam with ZoneAlarm. I do not have the toolbar. But I did not want to uninstall. Should not be needed, and is not needed.

This workaround worked for me.

-In ZA, uncheck the box 'start ZA with windows' (or similar)

-Reboot

-Start STEAM

-Start Arma3

-Once in the game, restart ZA

Anyway, for reasons unknown to me, when I disabled nearly every service and auto-launched app in the "msconfig" panel, restarted the computer and then re-enabled the things I needed (Windows services and some other stuff), Zone Alarm no longer stopped the game from launching.
