  1. Hello In the beginning of July, we are going to start playing Antistasi Altis in a tactical manner. There will be squads, leadership of squads, reckon operations, etc etc. All in a very friendly and cooperative environment, no virtual push ups or yes sir and the like. The only requirement is to be a cool person to be around, not whine , be there for a kick-ass , organized experience, and listen to orders and follow the plan, so there`s no chaos and the experience is meaningful. No previous skill is required. If you follow our instructions concerning the base game and are a good sport, providing positive value to the group you belong with us. Think of the server 77th jsoc server, or the spirit cultivated in ShacTac. All applicants must be 18+, have a mic, and be able to speak English clearly. We will play on around noon GMT, which means both Europeans and Americans can join, depending on their schedule. Let that not scare you though, cause we are quite flexible on time. We plan on using only the necessary mods, like TFR, Enhanced Movement etc. We wont be using RHS, since the experience and a decent FPS for everyone are priority for us. There might be the possibility of recording the footage and uploading it to YouTube if there are interesting moments, just for the sake of it. Our New Website Sign up form - Click here Welcome to 1 Assault Group Royal Marines, we are an Arma 3 Milsim Unit based out of the United Kingdom, with a player base spread over Europe and the United States. Our unit is based on the British Royal Marine Commandos. We specialize in many different tactics such as Amphibious and Airborne Assault as well as acting as a conventional infantry unit with Patrols, Recce, Checkpoints and many others. Operations and Campaigns 1 Assault Group - Royal Marines, runs a persistent campaign that will last for several weeks, with a lot of diversity, this is thanks to the Alive mod, dedicated, experienced Zeus's and mission makers within the unit. The campaigns can range from a vast array of different enviroments, from the cold of Russia, to the hot deserts of Zargabad. You can expect anything from night raids from an amphibious assault, to a helicopter insertion in the middle of a warzone.   7. Hello, I have make my custom units for arma 3 eden whit RHS and OPFOR. Everything works well! I have two questions that I can not solve. 1) This addons uses RHS and OPFOR to stuff my unit and create new class. Does this respect the copyright of these modes or not? (I need the original modes to use my mode.) 2) This addon currently needs to be used on client and server side. Which is a bit heavy to my team. I would like to use that only in eden. I will my mission is not dependent on the mode. Does anyone have an idea of how to do it? I would be super happy to be able to do that. Thanks becoup and long live the ARMA community! The script:

Ronin Tactical Services started off as a training academy with 25 staff members teaching military, law enforcement, and private investors on ways of thinking and utilizing various tactics in the field. Some instructors accepted small contracts by the US government to train other national armies and law enforcement to combat insurgency and terrorism. They also accepting contracts which involved Ronin advisors to take part in level zero patrol operations with Indigenous Forces accompanied by various NATO troops. These contracts (which were intentional to help expand the organization and side money for staffs) paid really well. More Ronin staff members were going overseas on defense contracts. Some Ronin staffs were also coming home injured or KIA which left more positions to be filled. the organization was short-handed and overstretched. With a lot of changes made to the organization, Ronin Tactical Services expanded from 20 to 1,000 members in 3 months and counting. With defense contracts becoming more popular among other PMCs, the organization expanded into a Security Force while still keeping their academy open. Another branch was open for Security deployments. Ronin Tactical Services are hiring special operators and training staff members for their Special Combat Unit to conduct emergency extract, rescue, recon, escort, special direct action, and other 'SWAT-like' assignments. Ronin Tactical Services are looked at by NATO and UN as a trusted security force that respects the laws of war.   10. 2nd Ranger Battalion will be hosting a Public Player vs Player event on Saturday the 23rd of December (2pm CST). The aim of this PVP event will be to get our name out into the public, and possibly show some people what we are all about but overall, the aim of the event is to have fun, and play the game we all have come to love, the way it was meant to be played. In a large scale, Combined Arms, Player vs Player, environment. The game mode will be as follows: There will be one attacking team and one defending team, after each round the teams will switch. The game will be moderated by a player acting as Zeus. Who may add certain events to keep the battle interesting, like weather changes and perhaps assistance to the losing side. Teams will be assigned on join, and each player will respawn in waves. The game will be modded and use Task Force Radio. A plugin for both arma and teamspeak. We are trying to keep the game mode relatively simple, we want everything to be fun. How to apply: Just respond to this forum. We will reach out to you with a modlist and a teamspeak IP. Make sure you double check the mods before joining.     Defunct Mission Running

    In an attempt to upload mission files (which I believe was a success), I accidentally deleted the mpmissions folder for some reason, but I reuploaded the files. I was automatically directed to the Takistan mission when I launched the server, and upon attempting to run the Summer Chernarus map, it simply redirected me to the Takistan mission; I believe that I experienced this issue before, but you resolved it by uploading the map (Summer Chernarus) to the server.

I've encountered an issue which is making problems for my mission - and I think it explains former problems I’ve had also in previous missions I’ve made (multiplayer missions, hosted on dedicated servers - or local). When making missions, I at times use triggers to recognize that a specific group is either in a vehicle, or has departed a vehicle. To do this, I use the following codes. This one I use to link an entire Unit to a said "group", for script/coding purposes when it comes to triggers etc. <GROUP> = group this; This one I use to detect if said above named "group" has entered the vehicle. This particular one, checks group for "dead" people, so it will only count members still alive in the group. This is normally put into the triggers condition, to then activate the trigger. {_x in <VEHICLE>} count units <GROUP> == {alive _x} count units <GROUP>; This one is as the one above, just for detecting when said "group" has left a given vehicle. {_x in <VEHICLE>} count (units <GROUP>) == 0; In my latest mission, i've also added the "onPlayerkilled.sqf" and "onPlayerRespawn.sqf" files, to both save gear on death, and give it back once they respawn. onPlayerKilled.sqf player setVariable["Saved_Loadout",getUnitLoadout player]; onPlayerRespawn.sqf removeAllWeapons player; removeGoggles player; removeHeadgear player; removeVest player; removeUniform player; removeAllAssignedItems player; clearAllItemsFromBackpack player; removeBackpack player; player setUnitLoadout(player getVariable["Saved_Loadout",[]]); My problem is that when someone dies, they apparently lose their link to their "group" - which means that above triggers with "enter/leave" vehicle using the group codes - won’t work. Example: Helo Evac from a said location. The helicopter is set to land on location, and wait for the group to enter it. A trigger prevents the helicopter from moving on until the entire group is in the chopper. The problem is if we've had deaths in the group, who have then respawned. As the trigger used to check if the group is in the chopper, counts out dead group members - they are counted as "not being in the game anymore" by all concerns for the trigger once they have died and respawned. The respawn script does not "re-implement" them into the given group - and we get the case where the helicopter will take off once the "original group members" who never died during the mission is in the chopper, while leaving respawned members behind. Only way I’ve found to counter this so far, is to make sure that the "original members who never died", enter the vehicle last - but this is an issue, as this particular mission is going on the steam workshop soon, and it'll be tricky to get this through without giving away some hints on what’s going to happen, before it happens. I’m no script/code guru - but I’m quite a proficient "googler" and "forum reader" when it comes to finding codes/scripts I need to do what I want. I am however hoping that some of the script/coder guys in this community could help me out with this one - either by providing me changes to the respawn scripts, so that the players still will be counted as "part of the group" when respawning, or perhaps making changes to the trigger condition code so the group is still counted properly, despite deaths (while also counting deaths - as some might die during the mission - which has a set amount of respawns).   18. Hi. I want to make a squad get out of a vehicle when a script is activated, and make them get back in when another one is activated. Is it possible to do without scripting, just with triggers init? The unload, load get out and get in waypoints dont seem to work... Btw the squad consists of players and AI. If that is not possible, can i make the passengers and cargo dudes eject? I googled a bit and found something that makes cargo eject but its a btr 80 which means that most people sit on top.
  19. I have made a Zeus Mission. Now i want to have a script/eventhandler that automatically changes the owner of EVERY AI unit i spawn to Headlessclient, which i called HC. I am doing this for performance reasons.   21. Hello! We are a relatively new Star Wars Unit looking for some new members. Our unit is based off of the Galactic Marines from Star Wars. The goal of our unit is to simulate a Star Wars unit correctly while bring a fun aspect to the table. We still expect our members to act professionally and be mature while operating in our servers and even other StarSim unit servers. We host both fun operations and unit operations. Our unit operations are serious and our members are expected to attend them acting professionally. We host 1 or 2 unit operations a week. Fun operation are less serious, but we still expect you to act mature. A fun operation can be hosted whenever any Zeus qualified individual is online. We are officially recognized by GARC and allow any other GARC StarSim unit attend these without a needed invitation. Upon joining us you are classified as a recruit and are not able to attend any of our operations or unit trainings. You must attend our basic infantry course at our academy you will earn the title of cadet. As a cadet you are allowed to attend any fun operations that are hosted. The script currently only takes away weapons, and how seeing how there is no counterpart to the hasWeapon command (ex. there is no hasUniform or hasVest) I would be very grateful for some extra help. AT_MSG is just the message displayed when the weapon is taken away from you I tried to fiddle with the code myself, but I have just started learning and this is way outside my skillset, seeing how it probably needs an entire rewrite, as it is only taking away the secondary weapon as of now, and only detecting if you have a WEAPON in the _missileSpecialised section, and not any other items. Also, I am trying to run this on a dedicated server, which to my understanding may require slightly altering parts of code (something with underscores I believe). UFO consists of like-minded individuals centered around playing Arma in a serious manner. As a whole, we enjoy tactical realism in our gameplay and try to make things as serious and “down to earth” as possible.
