  1. I have limited space on my C: drive SSD, so I offload to my E: drive HDD when I can, and ArmA 3 mods is one of those cases. However, recently I got Library Share with a friend to use some software he owns on Steam, and it started downloading 55GB mods he was subscribed to. Which wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for the fact that it put it on the C: drive instead of the E: drive, which I specifically marked in the launcher. How do I change this? I can't tell him to unsubscribe, that's ridiculous, I had to uninstall another game or I would run out of space on my C: drive... I just checked in-game and the mods aren't even enabled, guessing I can only use my friends' installed mods when I'm logged in as him? Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks and happy holidays!
  2. Today while playing my Arma 2 OA have crashed and while trying to start it again it fails and shows "the cloud file provider is not running". I can't find any solutions. I tried reinstalling th egame and verifing integrity of game files. I'm using steam, with only "Over the Top" mod. It crashed in main menu.

    Error on steam launch

    hey guys got this error message after launching the game. i just reinstalled it after taking a break, got some mods, played with them, unloaded them and tried launching it again and I got this? "Error creting Direct3D 11 graphical engine" then I close the error window, and get the "arma 3 has exited in an unusual manner" popup with exit code 0x0000DEAD all of my drivers are up to date, not sure what else could be the issue...any thoughts? thanks!

Problem: So i hosted a Arma Server on my dedicated PC, that is on a alt account, after i set up everything with TADS as i always do i try to log in through LAN on my main account and i get "You were kicked of the game. Steam Authentication Failed", the main problem and it's a confusing one is that i only get this error when i try to join my new fresh server, if i join Warlords or any OFFICIAL servers i have no issue. What i tried: I tried to run the server with my main account where i own Arma3 but i found out that you can not HOST and play ARMA at the same time, steam gives me an error when ever i try and either disconnects the server or it doesn't let me play/launch the game.
  5. Good day, I'm part of the active modding team, still working on new content for this title, supported by Stucuk (the active developer of the game currently). We really wish this game finally came to light and got some more attention with all its old and new content because it is an underappreciated gem. I've looked on the Steam store page a while back and noticed that it only features some old pre-alpha screenshots which do not represent the actual game content. The site lacks some of the more modern "polish" like few short clips and new screenshots of the actual game. The game has got a UI overhaul, along with lots of QoL and small engine improvements to help it progress into its twenties. We made a list of new screenshots, plus 3-4 clips about the game in its current state. We would really like to ask Bohemia for an opportunity to refurbish the Steam page with the new content we have already prepared. Original review Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197977203759/recommended/1681170/ This CDLC is inspired and in fact made by the same guy who created the Hunter Six Campaign Mission. It was one of the most immersive missions/scenarios/campaigns you could get on the steam workshop even surpassing some if not most of the official missions/scenarios. But Hunter Six was 100% vanilla (just a mission file) so it did not introduce any new content besides some cool custom UI elements and it was all about immersive gameplay just by using the content already inside of Arma 3. (In fact one of the reasons why it was so popular was because it did not require 20+ Mods to be fun and immersive). That is where this CDLC comes into play as it is a more feature complete version of Hunter Six (It is called Extraction now). In terms of new content: 1) A single new map (Western Sahara): There is not much going for it in comparison to other workshop maps and it is below the quality of all the other CDLCs but it is good enough (for the asking price) and it fits the needs of the game mode (Extraction) perfectly. It just gets boring fast due to most locations looking kinda the same and even thou the map is huge it ends up feeling small because of that. 2) A few new weapons, barely any new attachments and/or equipment for them. Nothing you can't get from mods really. 3) Factions and their uniforms are quite basic but good enough to immerse you in the CDLC's theme. 4) Game Modes (Gameplay): This is were the CDLC was supposed to shine (Its main strong point). You see, EVERYONE loved Hunter Six and everyone wanted and would pay any amount money for... a MULTIPLAYER COOP version of it! And yes, this CDLC features what WE ALL wanted! We finally got our Hunter Six MP COOP Campaign after like 5+ years of waiting and we gladly paid the USD 6+ for it. Yet sadly the MP version of Extraction, as it stands now, comes with an unforgettable flaw! And that huge flaw is that in Extraction's SIX/EIGHT hours Campaign it is IMPOSSIBLE for the players playing in Multiplayer COOP to SAVE THEIR PROGRESS!!! Yes, you heard me right... that means that you need to somehow have all four of your friends (and this is how you will test their friendship!) to play uninterruptedly with you for SIX/EIGHT hours straight! Of course all of them unemployed and without families and/or duties living on their parent's basements!!! What is worst is that there are a number of Multiplayer saving scripts and mods out there that could've been used or at least inspired the devs of this CDLC or the remaining A3 Devs (Because BI gets half the earnings from this and all CDLCS) to make a decent Multiplayer compatible saving system. Was that so hard to do? Was that feature so impossible to do over the years that you had to release this CDLC with its MAIN SELLING POINT (The MP COOP Campaign), the whole reason for this CDLC to exist in the first place in a crippled half baked state due to players not even able to save their game mid campaign in Multiplayer? Other than that inexcusable omission that hopefully gets patched in the future I can still recommend this CLDC but as a single player experience and for those who never played HUNTER SIX to experience just how good it was. As a personal side note, this CDLC would have been much better released under the ART OF WAR DLC model, which was paying for a year or two of exclusive access and then be made available for everyone (who owns the base game) because this CDLCs content just fits the vanilla lore perfectly and the size of the content is pretty minuscule anyway. Just put the map and the extraction game mode behind a paywall but add everything else to vanilla Arma 3. (That would've been the best move for the players!)

    Saving/importing/exporting game settings to GeForce Now

    Hi. I've been playing Arma 3 for several months via GeForce Now. It's not perfect, but it works (most of the time). I've been able to subscribe to and load DLC and mods from the Steam Workshop without too much trouble. It IS a pain having to reinstall every. single. thing. every time I want to play the game, but I've just come to accept it. The REALLY frustrating part is that NONE of the game settings I change are ever saved, and none of the progress or (more importantly) gear loadouts I spend so much time building for various roles ever gets saved and I have to redo this every time. I know GeForce Now creates a virtual machine every time I log on and wipes everything clean when I log off, so I want to know if there is a way through either the Steam Cloud, some sort of Bohemia/Arma 3 cloud, or some unknown third option where I can save at least the game settings and loadout files, import them at the beginning of game play and export them again when I'm done. Please tell me there's some way to use Google Drive or something that I can access through the GeForce Now virtual machine to accomplish this. I'll cope with all the other shortcomings and load times of GFN.
  8. Hello! I would like to play the S.O.G Prairie Fire coop campaign together with my friends on our dedicated server and not on public servers or a self-hosted game. With the Apex coop campaign you only have to enter the missions in the server.cfg.     Cant join any unit

    Bought on steam a few days back, says its linked to steam as I logged in with my steam account. Every unit I try to join times out with an eventual an error occurred. Searching I see the same thing posted multiple times by multiple people with zero official fix or unofficial for that matter. Anyone got a clue?
  10. Hi, I was busy making a mission the past few days and I used the Ares zeus tools mod, but this morning I did not see it on the launcher or the steam webpage. Is it possible that this mod was removed from steam and if so, is there a way I can recover my mission? Thank you

The project aims to achieve interesting, tactically coordinated plays of already created missions. One life per mission, first-person only, no bots, realistic camouflage, armament and vehicles. Main event – Arma Project Games (APG) runs on Fridays and Saturdays from 21:00 Moscow time (GMT+3). As i said in title my maps, options changes and game progress are not saving , i think that my operating system can be a problem ( i got windows 10 on my PC ) ( i bought my Arma : Cold War Assault from steam ) more specific informations about the problem : - No possibility to save maps from map editor ( it's happening on every single profile created in game ) - All options ( video , music , controls and difficulty ) reset to deafult after closing the game ( it's also happening on every single profile created in game ) - No possibility to save game progress.

    Arma 3 Steam Game Ban

    Dear Bohemia Interactive I bough arma3 in steam nearly 2 years ago and went to the hospital for 1 month. I haven`t even played arma3. When I was discharged from the hospital I found that my steam account was stolen. It took me nearly 2 weeks to recover it. Then I found out that my account has Game Ban. I wrote to steam support. Steam support said to write to Bohemia Interactive directly. I did it. 2 years passed and nothing. The game costs really much for the country I live in. More than that, it`s impossible to donate to steam here. I don`t even know the reason of my ban. Please help me if you can. I have the screenshot of the account recovery but in Russian language. We just checked his router settings and firewall plus his windows firewall. We have quite some guys with IT background in our clan but are running out of ideas.   18. KP-Steam is a simple command line utility which can be used to upload mods and missions to Steam Workshop. Why _another_ app for Steam Workshop uploading? Over the time amount of supported maps for KP Liberation has grown a lot and having to upload all of them with one by one with Eden started to be a pain. Contrary to BI Publisher CLI this app supports legacy Steam Remote Storage Workshop items, this allows to use this app to update missions on the Workshop. The F-201 also has ground attack capabilities, and is able to support various weapons configurations via its conventional pylons, but also its internal weapons bay. The program was marred by accusations of technology theft by the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), with claims by criticis that the technology behind the F-201 was used in the J-181 Tiger Hornet.   21. Hello there! I've made a remake of the Arma 3 Prologue campaign with the BWMod recently. I've tested everything and it works fine. Then I've uploaded the campaign to Steam with the Publisher tool from the Arma 3 Tools. Now here's the problem: When I start the game with my campaign loaded in, it won't show up the campaign menu. What am I doing wrong? It's propably really easy but I don't know what to do! I'll attach some images of the PBO file and the campaign directory. Thanks in advance!   22. I've made a new Bohemia account and I want to link it to my steam account. It appears my steam account is already linked to an existing Bohemia account. The thing is, I can't remember the username and all the email addresses I know of don't give any password resets either. I'd even delete the unit I made for Arma 3 and remake it with the existing linked account...IF I know what that account was! Is there any way I can unlink the Bohemia account from the Steam side? Any other solution? Would suck if I can't even find out which accounts are linked and there's no way to undo this.
  23. Intro After using Arma for a long time and having my own dedicated server, I always found very hard to keep my mods up to date. So I used Flax's tool (FAST) to make the whole thing work but there was some issues. The software tend to be quite slow sometimes, some menus are not working completely and the command output was a bit weird. I ended up building my own version of his tool, since it is not maintained anymore, by translating the entire code into something more recent, fixed the issues I found and reworked the code behind. Download You can find the latest release below : 64 bits Version 32 bits is not supported for now. If you require a 32 bits version, contact the developer directly Extract the files somewhere on your computer and run FASTER.exe. I recommend creating a shortcut to avoid the hassle of having to find the program. First, I have had a problem with subscribed Steam Workshop mods hanging my system and closing Steam when it becomes REMOVED or HIDDEN by the authors, with no way for the USER to know which mods were affected and then not have the ability to unsubscribe. This occurred and annoyed the eff out of me for a very long time, almost 2 years or more. Many users who have had this problem are also affected. The solution I finally thought up was for Steam Workshop to stop being stupid and actually just blacklist the mod ID so it SKIPS it during the auto update process and move ON. This worked up to last year when I reported it. See many threads below in this same forum by searching my name. This year, I was too busy to play any games for nearly 3 months so finally logged into Steam and the bug comes back (because MORE mods where hidden, deleted, but NOT added the blacklist). So I emailed Steam tech support to recheck the blacklist or auto enable it, and after back and forth this is what those effing idiots said: "Message from you on Apr 2 @ 8:31am | 6 days ago Hi Steam, The issue is not the mods. The issue is STEAM CLIENT is unable to proceed when it encounters a mod that is no longer available on the STEAM WORKSHOP and goes into a infinite loop of trying to update the existing workshop mod, but cannot because it is flagged as hidden or unavailable anymore within the workshop!!! Can you ask an experienced tech to look into this? Thank you. Message from Steam Support on Apr 3 @ 5:26am | 5 days ago Hello again. Like Alan mentioned, we do not offer assistance with third-party mods. If Arma 3 successfully installed on your machine and the client is locking up while installing workshop content, this sounds like there are issues or conflictions within the mods that may be causing the client to become unresponsive. We can only suggest clearing your subscribed workshop content and adding workshop content one by one to ensure that you can identify which workshop content is causing the confliction. To clear your subscribed items, please do the following: Open Steam Hover over 'Community' then select 'Workshop' On the right-hand side, select 'Your Files' From there, select "Subscribed Items' On the right-hand side, select "Unsubscribe From All" If your issue remains, you will need to reach out to the mod creators to see if they are aware of a catalyst for the issue you are experiencing. The issue is WORKSHOP trying to update a mod that is hidden but it should SKIP it so it can goto the next mod that is ACTIVE on the workshop... This was fixed in the past from your tech team and it is not the mod issue. Its just a bunch of files that your workshop is trying to update but for some reason is not flagging it as to leave it alone. Dig into my past and you will see this was fixed and yet now broken again. It affects ALL ARMA 3 users and not sure why this is a user issue. Steam Support Preston" The idiots basically told me to unsubscribe everything when I actually gave them the solution to fix their stupid backend under my profile from last year and instead of doing the basic thing of THEIR JOB, they closed my case. So I spent the weekend figuring how to fix their shit on my own and sharing with my fellow ARMA users who are fed up with Steam's "Wonderful and professional" support team: 1) Goto your main x:\Steam\logs\ directory, find the file workshop_log.txt and open it in a text editor. 2) There will be a bunch of text and shows something like this: [AppID 107410] Detected workshop change : added subscribed item 1356440034 . [AppID 107410] Get details for item 1356440034 failed : Access Denied . [AppID 107410] Detected workshop change : removing unknown item 1356440034 . The dots present other lines with different mod id numbers but you get the point. The mods that are HIDDEN or DELETED from the workshop BY the AUTHORS, but NOT YET unsubscribed by the USERS will look like the above Move this to a window so you can keep track of these ID numbers such as 1356440034 . 3) Close the STEAM client and log into your Steam account with your web browser. 4) Goto the ARMA 3 Workshop via webbrowser https://steamcommunity.com/app/107410/workshop/ and click on YOUR FILES dropdown under Your Workshop Files on the right, then select subscribed items. 5) Click on 30 items per page ON THE BOTTOM to ease finding things. 6) At this point, you should see a list of mods and multiple pages of 30 mods if you have a lot. 7) Here is where all the real work comes in where STEAM support could have fixed with a single script from their backend: Right click anywhere on the 1st page and select VIEW PAGE SOURCE. Do control F to find one of the mods from the hidden or deleted mods such as 1356440034. 8) Paste 1356440034 into the FIND BOX and search. If you do not find it on the first page, then goto the NEXT page on the browser, view source and do a control F again. 9) Finally once you have found the mod, go back to the main web screen, not the source screen and click unsubscribe. Do this for all the mod IDs you can find from the Workshop_log.txt. 10) Now you are going to ask, are you flipping kidding me I have to work so damn hard to fix something that STEAM SHOULD have fixed and automated the process in the first place? You mean as easy as to log a mod ID into a daughter blacklist when an author hides or deletes a mod off the workshop, then just skip updating it for said parent games? Or maybe have a filter to list mods that are no longer available for updates but still subscribed under your profile, so you can like UN-subscribe from them?! No freaking way it can be that simple.... Right? /s I plowed through over 175 pages due to Steam's incompetent support team to fix their problem over the weekend. I am not suggesting BIS drop Steam for their game, but make sure you guys test and fix the mod system for the next game instead of inheriting this crap or consider another launcher service that actually works. Before anyone say its easier said than done, think about the system wide effects of this bug across all games and then their tech support's answer is to delete all the mods because they can't be arsed to do their frigging job and patch it in the first place.

We are here to help you transition from run n gun Rambo lone wolf solid snake American sniper tactics into awesome well oiled CSAT killing tactical machines. We also understand that sometimes a lot of what we teach doesn’t make sense to those accustomed to player revives with a dirty reused needle. If you find out that you kinda like the team and some of the Official unit members then ask to officially join the unit. What do I have to do to join the Unit? -Good question! Most of that information can be found in that discord channel I posted in the beginning. But to give you a barnie style breakdown, you first need to attend the units basic training which is broken down into 3 30-60 minute sections Red, white and blue phase. The basic training will go over unit standards, tactics and all roles available for you to fill. After that there is specialized courses for various roles. You can specialize in one or be a jack of all trades, it’s up to you! When do you guys play? - the peak hours among the unit is around 1800 Gmt and we normally hold training on Tuesdays and Fridays, with unit operations on Saturdays. Any other days of the week are normally casual days so jump on and have fun. Can I be pilot? -Sure.....in casual gameplay, going to go ahead and assume you just downloaded the game. So if you want to be a unit pilot I’d prefer you practice, and learn to hurry up and wait. Because having planes blaze down an entire village before the troops get there is kinda a immersion killer. Can I fly Transport? -only if you can land Why do you only have slots for certain roles? -let’s put it this way, if your playing on a football team your likely not running the football if your a lineman and probably not catching the football if your the quarterback. Every position has a role and specific task and if one person is not sticking to their role the whole team fails. So in the 32nd ID we build our squads in a way where just about all tasks can be completed with the least amount of players. A Squad typically consists of about 9-12 players —ALPHA TEAM— Team leader Rifleman. (AT) Grenadier Automatic Rifleman --BRAVO TEAM— Team Leader Rifleman (SDM) Grenadier Automatic Rifleman —Command Elment— Squad leader Medic RTO/FO/JTAC Machine Gunner Other roles are planned for the future as the unit expands but for now we ask that players become familiar with the available roles.
