Real life comes first. We all have different commitments (work, family, responsibilities, etc.) and odds are you enjoy playing other games than Arma 3 from time to time. In some cases you might even take a break or go on holiday. There is no minimum requirement for the amount of hours you need to spend playing Arma 3, and we will never reprimand you for being offline, so no pressure! Just jump on when you can (and when you want to) and we'll be right there when you need us. I know my way around Arma 3 now, what next? Once you know the basics, it's really just a matter of getting out as much as you put in. For example, if you want to specialise in a particular role such as CAS, armoured, artillery, etc. you will need to complete a more in-depth training course where you will learn more of the procedure. This is essentially a much more detailed version of the initial basic training. Once you have completed this training course your next step is to jump into #careers-office on our Discord server and ask around! Our NCOs and Officers will happily explain what each Corps gets up to and who to contact. I just want to be a grunt. No special training, no responsibilities... That's fine too. We all need to kick a door down from time to time, and if that's what you enjoy doing most then we'll be right behind you with extra ammunition (and spare boots). The Infantry are the backbone of every military force and everybody, no matter their rank or role, needs to be able to pick up a rifle and dig in when the situation requires it. Career Progression within The Black Order: This is a general overview of the steps you can take within our group. As mentioned earlier, you can put in as much as you want to get out, everybody has a place in our team and we'll never turn anyone away. Join the Discord server and introduce yourself. A member of the @recruitment team should give you a warm welcome and show you around. Phase 1 Alpha. Introductory training course to ensure you are familiar with the basics, and will take approximately 1-3 hours depending on previous experience. Completion of Phase 1 Alpha instantly allows you to join our live operations. Phase 1 Bravo. A longer and more detailed training course, usually held between large operations. Completion of Phase 1 Bravo opens up specialisations and career progression. Phase 2. Your Phase 2 training will be dictated by the role you choose. For example, Jets, CAS, Helicopters, Armoured, Medical, Artillery, Engineer, or Infantry. Note that you can change role at any time, you just need to be re-trained. Promotion to Corporal. Hello! We are The Arma Bois and we are a small(~15 active players) Semi-milsim and a bit more casual community mostly consisting of friends. We have both experienced players and newbies so anyone is welcome to join! We are based in the EU and we play missions each Sunday at 16:00 CEST. Those are zeused by me and they are set anywhere from WW2 till present. We also have an antistasi server up 24/7 and we plan to run smaller missions during the week outside of our main ones. There is no training per se, but we need you to know the basics of Ace. Mission organization: We do not have designated people for squads/squad roles, because the mission types vary and we like to keep it casual. You can slot yourself in whichever squad you want with whoever you like as long as the slot is not taken. We do have groups of Czechs and Germans who sometimes tend to play together with their native tongue, however English is the primary language everyone needs to know for communication with other squads and their players. We do not have an attendance so it is ok if you miss out on a mission every now and then. Mods we use: Due to the variety of missions I create, there is a lot of mods required for different factions. We are impersonating an elite special force of the Imperium of Man known as Tempestus Scions. We fight across a vast plethora of environments - from snowy tundras or huge jungles of unexplored planets to centres of massive hive cities populated with both allies and civilians. Our clan started as a Mount and Blade Napoleonic Wars clan. For people who played it you know the stuff(linebattles etc). We decided that we should expand our clan. While we still do NW we decided to also play Arma 3 amongst other things( HOI4 War thunder Total war). I myself have a duty of recruiting so the job of recruiting for Arma 3 came on my head(because thats what happens when you are an NCO in the recruiting team). But enough with the background. We want to start our Arma 3 branch of the clan so im pretty new in the Arma 3 recruitment department so some stuff may be out of place. We currently have 12 people amongst our ranks that have Arma 3 and participate in Arma 3 events or as we call them "expeditions". Now i dont really know how many people we get per every Arma 3 event(somewhere between 5 to 10 maybe) but we obviously will start slow in Arma.(our clan has more people but obviously for Mount and Blade) In terms of clan rules we allow: -any type of language because our guys like jokes and really dont get offended -we are semi-milsim but depending on the guys attending we may step up a notch and use a realism mode(like Ace 3 etc). -we accept anyone no matter the experience or in how many clans they were before we are all learning togheter -we dont do required attendence events like other clans may do so its imposible for you to get kicked for not attending regularly -even if you joined for Arma you can always go to our other events without any formalities(enlisting again for other games by talking with a CO or NCO)- -obviously the game is much better when you have friends to play with so you can recruit any of your friends to join What do we exactly do in Arma you ask? Well we play custom missions for now but we are obviously open to experimenting on other things. We also do escape from Altis since its much harder to escape with a 8 man team then with a duo.We are thinking of doing Insurgency mode but that is a tiring mode which takes more than one event(our events usually lasting between 1 hour on paper or 2 depending if people want to extend the event period) Do I need any DLCs or other mods? We never really ask people to buy DLCs(screw you bohemia we keepin our money) but you may be asked to get some mods from the workshop like the one for our teamspeak server so you can hear people in teamspeak only when you are close(i think its called Task Force Arrowhead) but other then some few modes no. Special Operations Task Force Spartan is made up of four military units which were selected by the unit creators. These units are as follows: DEVGRU (SEAL Team 6), 75th Rangers, 160th SOAR (Special Operations Air Regiment), and SARC. With each unit comes with unique training and tactics. We believe within TFS that this will bring some unique game play to Arma with the diversity of our Arma Unit. Now, very much like joining any Arma unit, your division or military unit is not set in stone and you can change. 75th Rangers - 75th Ranger Regiment is our main force. These guys are in their own right special forces as well, trained for direct action raids, HVT takedowns, special recon, airfield seizures, personnel recovery, and site exploration. The Rangers work closely with DEVGRU to secure HVT packages and provide security during hostage rescue missions. Sometimes the two teams will even work together on performing any kind of recon. SARC - SARC or Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman is our special forces medical division. Here members learn the advance medical system through ACE and go through their own specialized training to help all our corpsmen survive out on the field. After their individual training, a corpsman assigned is assigned to a specific squad within each of the three other units to provide medical aid while on the field of combat. "Corpsman first, operator second" DEVGRU - DEVGRU is our Tier One Special Forces division within Spartan. Their goal is to perform HVT captures, assassinations, recon, hostage rescue, counter terrorism, and much more. Working along side the rest of the task force, DEVGRU will sometimes blend in with the Rangers and work together in order to secure any objectives given to them. 160th SOAR - The 160th SOAR or Special Operations Air Regiment is responsible for all forms of air deployment for the other divisions. Members of this division are able to fly anything from an old heuy all the way up to even the experimental ghost hawk. Not only are the 160th responsible for transport, but also are responsible for aerial drone reconnaissance to provide our ground forces with ISR or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance. This is to help our units with extremely delicate missions such as hostage rescue or HVT takedowns. 5. SS Panzer-Division "Wiking" Who Are We: The 5th SS Panzer Division is a realism unit portraying the 5.SS PzDiv of the German SS. We are a small scale unit (6 active) typically operating at squad level but as we expand we plan to begin platoon level operations. Our main focus is on accurately portraying motorized/mechanized infantry and Armored units in Arma 3, from the weapons and specials to the tactics and commands given. Training in the unit is based on the manuals of the time so you can rest assured your experience will be as close to what the real soldiers of the time went though. What is United Frontline? United Frontline Operations is a group for those who value not only the realism but the fun and the thrill that ArmA 3 has to offer. UFO consists of like-minded individuals centered around playing Arma in a serious manner. As a whole, we enjoy tactical realism in our gameplay and try to make things as serious and “down to earth” as possible. Who are we? The 2nd Yorkshire Battalion (2YB) is a group for people who want to have the realism of the military simulation side of ArmA but want to have fun and not have the realism ruin the experience. We aim to provide a mature, fun and interactive environment to focus on operations and gameplay over having pristine realism. We focus on fun, teamwork, tactical and realism in that order. What do we offer over other groups? We offer an organised structure for both in-game and out of game to avoid any confusion and show peoples specialties.
