Hi I've been working on setting up respawn loadouts for a mission I am making and while I have figured out how to set up the gear that the player will respawn with but i cant figure out how to change the role (or class I'm not sure of the right term but basically how the player will show up on the map and other players HUD) and the player traits (medic, engineer, etc.) after the player respawns. From what I have learned so far I think that it might not be potable to change the role if I want to use a custom loadout but I at least should be able to change traits. We achieve this goal by providing our players with professional and high-quality environments for everyone's enjoyment. This unit does use many mods to improve our experience. What we are looking for We are looking for anyone who wants to have a fun time playing Arma, It does not matter if you are new to the game or played it for years. We will offer everything we have available for you. What is your schedule? We are operating on a weekly basis to keep our unit and members active. Every week we are scheduling 2 kinds of events. The first thing is the main Operations were we play our WW2 Campaign. We do also offer at least one training per week. We do not require any attendance.   4. So, as the title suggests i'm having a problem getting self-made missions to work on a dedicated server. I can't figure out why this is happening and it's really begininng to frustrate me, it's also hard to test these kinds of things for other reasons but let me run down this first. I know the mission works on my pc, I know it works on someone elses pc with the same mods. The Dedi-server is running the same mods collection both of the other pc's are running, however for some reason the "role selection" appears blank on the dedicated server. This is driving me nuts and i can't seem to find a probable cause for this to happen and because i can't find the cause i cant find the fix. Please if anyone can help it would be SO muchly appreciated.
  5. Hey all, In the last update (1.60) that introduced some new respawn menu features, I have my own respawn loadout role defined. However, there seems to be a default "rifleman" role that's always there which I can't figure out how to get rid of. The wiki states: "Mission designer can use roles already created in the game config, or custom roles can be defined in description.ext file." https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Respawn:_New_Respawn_Screen But it does not describe how to use only custom and not pre-existing roles. Image below: My custom role that I want is "Insurgents". The role that won't go away is "rifleman" Thanks for any help.
  6. Hello, I created a mission and I can't see the roles in the dedicated server. I can see them in the singleplayer, local hosting server (ported), everywhere except the dedicated server. I double checked that the units are playable but there's nothing wrong. I'm clueless, I'd apperciate it you help me.
