  1. Hi All, hoping someone can provide some insight into why I'm unable to get some CUP and Co10 Escape missions and maps running on a dedicated A3 server (TCadmin). The main issue being encountered is that the role assignment/selection screen is blank so no player units can be selected to start the game. Whats weird is that some maps (e.g. Tanoa) will run the Co10 escape missions when Vanilla is selected. I have checked the server rpt logs and it makes reference to some missing CUP 'creature' (Unit) mods. I don't see these items in the CUP 1.8.1 addons that I have downloaded. I have also noted the following mission related error "Mission co10_Escape_CUP_SLA_VS_USMC.Noe: Missing 'description.ext::Header" If anyone can provide some guidance it would be very much appreciated, I've spent in excess of 10 hours trying to figure this mess out!   2. Details: This is a replacement weapon config for EricJ's taliban units using AK's and typical weapons from the RHS Escalation mods. I originally created this as a 'leight'weight option for quick Zeus/MCC missions with my group, but I realised that plenty of the other middle eastern factions available require a significant number of separate uniform/weapon packs, (even though they look fantastic). Since almost every modded server I have seen uses RHS. It seems appropriate to combine these. The config assigns Russian AKM's/AKMS' to fighter units, PKMs and SVD's are assigned to MG and Sniper variants as well. All units have russian smoke grenades, RGOs. Leader units have FAKs and PMM sidearms. All units are Zeus compatible. This config also contains an Afghan civilian faction. Unchanged from EricJ's original. The mod is signed with server keys included. Of course, let me know if I have done something ridiculously wrong here. I'm still learning how to put mods together. We expect our members to be mature, cooperative and respectful individuals who are looking to play games tactically, and are comfortable in working with others to achieve a common objective. Our ArmA 3 group hopes to offer our members tactical and realistic play without the fluff of standard mil-sim communities. Currently our main weekly operations begin at 2000 ZULU/GMT and 1900 ZULU/GMT when North American daylight savings is in effect. What We Offer Realistic, Varied Missions—As a tactical realism server, we do not believe in locking ourselves into one faction or conflict. In a single session, you may be playing as Soviets in Afghanistan in one mission and US Marines in Iraq the next. We built all our missions using Olsen’s Framework to ensure fluidity when joining-in-progress or spectating after death. Our missions are a mixed of cooperative and team versus team missions. Friendly Atmosphere—Members within our community tend to be laid back outside of missions. Unlike traditional mil-sim communities, we do not have set ranks and rosters; roles and duties are selected on a comfort-level basis. In addition, we treat all members equally. Officer positions are merely for administrative purposes. Members' contributions to the community are equally valued. Comprehensive Modset—We play an extremely modified version of ArmA 3 that contains weapons and equipment that covers various conflicts and eras. Generally, our missions tend to avoid equipment from the post-modern setting of ArmA 3. Mods in our modest include, but are not limited to: RHS, 3CB, CUP Terrains, ACE3 and ACRE. Strong Tactical Focus—For the most part, our community tries to play missions as realistically as possible with a strong emphasis to team-work and real-world tactics.   6. I'm creating an MP mission featuring the RHSUSF Mk.V SOC (boat) that has different lighting options only accessible by the driver via a GUI control panel (switches/buttons). When crewed and placed in Safe mode, AI activates collision lights automatically - that's fine. I want to control the sub-items (Nav lights, night lights, dive lights, searchlight, horizon lights) which the control panel calls through non-BIS functions (rhsusf_c_markvsoc\scripts\ui) while the AI is driving - AI will be driving the boat to WPs. I found this piece of code in rhsusf_c_markvsoc\scripts\ui\markv_ui.hpp action="[7005,'rL_opR_source'] call rhsusf_fnc_markvsoc_setOption"; If I get in the driver position as a player and use the debug console to execute a modified version: [7005,'rL_opR_source'] call rhsusf_fnc_markvsoc_setOption; The night lights toggle if "lightsOn" is true. Any value seems to work in place of "7005", so it doesn't seem that's passing anything critical. So I'm that far, but I want to apply this to a boat named "soc_1" that AI is driving. All MP players will get in passenger seats and I want the lights on before we even get there. I tried putting that call in the boat init, along with an action telling the boat driver "lightOn" and it doesn't seem to work - but I get no errors either.
  7. I recently decided to start making bases for my singleplayer survival modes. I finished one, and saved it, but the button to publish it was grey'd out. I don't know if it's because I used mods to make it, or what, but I don't even know if it's a thing that's been implemented yet.   10. I'm currently using the CUP weapons pack and the RHS weapons. Each have a shotgun, the CUP has the AA12 and the RHS has some pump shotgun. I'm trying to make a neat training area that has a clay skeet shooting area but only bullets can break them. I checked to see if it was only addon ammo but that's not the case. The slugs break them but not the pellets. Any ideas why this is happening?
  11. Hello Gentlemen, As some of you know I am porting my soundmod over to other mods. Like I covered the RHS weapons and such. Now I was further porting my mod to NIArms Arsenal, the full pack and wanted to cover the whole thing. Maybe even create some new sounds for the weapons that are neither in Arma nor in RHS, like FALs and AUGs and such. Now while porting the stuff over I tried to keep the structure to the original config so it will inherit well. But I end up with massive "Updating Base Class" reports in the RPT and that makes the mod a required mod for save games and editor missions. Which is obviously not a good thing for a simple soundmod.   12. I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on something for me. I'm currently making a mission, and in it there are 2x RHS MH17s controlled by 2 separate UnitCapture recordings. Heli 1's start coordinates for UnitPlay are: 500.363,14694.7,77.4408 Heli 2's start coordinates for UnitPlay are: 505.172,14691.1,78.3909 They both spawn in different locations, but for some reason, upon spawning, crash into each other and go down in a ball of flames. Does anyone know why, and how I can stop it happening?

    Unable to use RHS artillery

    Hello I want Ai Bm-21 grad to fire at a specific target or custom marker location. I need the BM-21 grads full artillery barrage. not firing rockets one by one. I've searched almost all the scripts or solutions, but everything's pretty old and none of those worked. I use ACE, JSRS, RHS and some small additional mods that has nothing to do with my problem. could you PLEASE suggest me something? please do not just search some old links and just ctrl-c and ctrl-v because I've been searching everything for 5 hours maybe. I couldn't make default arma3 mortars (mk6) working either. my scenario is something like - Enemy infantries are attacking a town where artillery should do supporting fire (in this case Ai firing BM-21 barrages) I am planning to set 4 BM-21 grad unit in my mission. please, I really need your help guys, I've learned so much from all of you and this forum and I'm so thankful for that. so I set my hopes on you guys that you'll help me. thanks.

  17. Not sure if this is quite the right place for it. I'm running a liberation server running CBA, ACE3, TFAR, RHS AFRF, RHS USAF and RHS GREF. We also run a few server-side mods like Advanced Urban Rapelling, Advanced Towing, Enhanced Movement. We allow clients to use TRYK uniforms (Well right now it's passworded and checking is off but, that's all that we intend for them to run hence a few errors referencing it). The server starts and functions fine for a while but tends to crash at random while people are playing. At first we thought it was related to ACE cookoff and disabled that but it turned out to make no difference. I'm trying to post latest RPT but I keep getting an error on the forum so I'll try it on a reply or elsewhere in a moment. I have others after the same thing to compare if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated as folks are getting mighty frustrated at losing all their assets because it crashed midway through an assault, or while returning to base, or just not having saved for a few minutes! Ok, some of the RPT. It was too large for most things to handle. I also notice this one may be due to our auto restart not seeming to work. I have problem with spawning weapons without attachments, magazine etc. for vanilla weapons/items i can go with: createvehicle {[ "weaponholdersimulated",[getPos _loc select 0, getpos _loc select 1,0],[], 0, "can_Collide"]; addweaponcargo ["arifle_SDAR_F",1]; }; and its working. but for RHS, CUP etc moded weapons, as example "rhs_weapon_ak103" i don't know what to place instead of "weaponholdersimulated" or where i can find it. if i only change weapon name, it give me error. Any ideas?

Im editing a serie of coop missions http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=965356876 Here is my first mission "Time limit", I try adapt difficulty based in nº players in mission (2 steps, <6 players or >6 players). -Helicopter is set in advanced fly mode. -Night mission. -Behind enemy lines. -English/Spanish lenguage. Sinopsis: We took a couple of days looking for the Scud SS-21_Scarab_9M79_Tochka without success in the south. Intelligence reports indicate that there is going to be an imminent attack. So we sent a SOG agent to get some reports from the enemy. Since we want the agent to remain there without being discovered, it will be the MARSOC who pick the information. Meet with the agent to verify that he is not compromised, obtain the information and eliminate the threat. *Note, only if its necessary, there are admin alive options to teleport to friends if they die. This is a faithful recreation of Desert Ambush, the highly popular cooperative mission that featured in the original Operation Flashpoint (ArmA: Cold War Assault). Every element has been carefully recreated: the same number of soldiers, vehicles and similar-ish weapons. A lot has changed between Operation Flashpoint of 2001 and the latest version of ArmA 3, therefore there is the option of a virtual ammo drop and the option to enable revives (mission parameters).     paradrop waypoint in zeus

    I'm very curious as to how to get this paradrop waypoint in zeus as seen in this video? (at 17 minutes in) The youtuber here seem to be using ACE, MCC, and a few unit and vehicles addons most obviously RHS. Any idea what module or misc mods besides the unit addons are needed for this to work? I know RHS has a paradrop waypoint but it doesn't show up in zeus at all and neither does the 'MCC' modules/systems... Thanks and any help is greatly appreciated.     RHS and Zeus

    Hi all, I've noticed that when I play a zeus mission with RHS - not all of the RHS units, vehicles, groups etc. are available. When I'm building manual scenarios: they are all there: but in zeus there are far fewer. Is there any way to get it all in to zeus? I'm hoping to avoid having to re-write every cfgvehicle definition just to add it to zeus... Is there a simple procedural way to get it in there? A script perhaps to find all the entries, and manually make them available to zeus? Thanks JayNic
