recruiting [EU/INT] 1st International Response Force - An International Realism Unit
nld_brian posted a topic in ARMA 3 - SQUADS AND FANPAGES
1st International Response Force An International Military Simulation Unit dedicated to a high level of tactical simulation. The 1st International Response Force is an International Realism/MilSim unit dedicated to a high level of tactical simulation. As a Unit we intentionally choose not to base ourselves on a real life unit so that we can use a structure that is based on the real world but merges officers and NCOs to reduce redundancy. We are a newly launched unit that has been in development for eight months so that we could get our systems perfectly established for the type of experience we want to create. Here are just some of the examples of what defines us: Strong Foundations Spending eight months developing a unit comes with some advantages - we have used our over three years of experiencing running MILSIM/REALISM groups to design a group that will allow us to reach a great level of military simulation without suffering a unit collapse because of boredom and paperwork. We decided to close down our old unit which had more than 140 active players so that we could dedicated ourselves to building a robust MILSIM group that would stand the test of time. The 1st IRF is designed to grow to 160 people, which is in our experience the largest active group that we can maintain at our desired level of quality. Rigorous Training As a unit we have over 30 MOS codes backed up with more than 35 training programs which combined total over 700 A4 pages of written training content. All of our training programs are written by people with real life experience but have been adapted to our specific ARMA environment. This is a step change to the regular “Modified Field Manual” approach of some units as it means we are only training useful and applicable information. The 1st IRF is an environment where anyone can fulfill their ambitions of leadership at any level in confidence that they will receive the highest quality training necessary to perform their function in a correct and standardized way. We don’t believe in making it up as we go along and are religious in our dedication to standards and interoperability. Deployments We don’t believe in the weekly operation concept that many units use. It is brittle and does not work well for international communities. Instead we use a 5 week deployment cycle in our unique deployment battlespace. Elements in the IRF operate on independent deployment cycles with 1 week of training, 3 weeks of operations ( scheduled on a per element basis working around availability ) and 1 week of off time so that members are free to enjoy other games. This system would not work if not for our dedicated team of 57As who manage and run the deployment environment to ensure it is providing a high quality MILSIM experience. A Wide Variety of Elements The 1st IRF is home to a wide variety of element types including infantry ( Airborne, Air Assault, Amphibious, Light and Mechanized Infantry ), Aviation ( Fixed and Rotary Wing ), Logistics ( Air Traffic Control and Logistical Supply Teams ), Armored ( Bradley and Paladin crews ) and Leadership Elements. Each Element has a custom training program and mission set but is equally useful in the battlespace. We do not have any element for the sake of having them and each is essential to our successful operation in the deployment environment. This is due to our “No Magic” policy meaning that we do not use teleports or arsenal’s in the deployment space. If a member dies or a unit runs low on supplies - a real team will need to make the supply run or reinsert that individual. Friendly and Mature Community We pride ourselves on having an open and welcoming community. We only allow 16+ members to become uniformed members of our group but younger players can still join our public servers in order to learn and experience with us. Unit dramas are a constant threat that can be extremely destabilizing to a unit; To prevent this we operate with a high level of transparency as well as defining our stance on all actions in our Discipline Guidelines. Our command staff do not discriminate and we are publicly committed to equal rules and punishments regardless of rank or position. We release all of our materials and tools publicly so that we are held accountable by our community. We are driven to be the best not because of proprietary tools but because of our community. We are an ArmA based gaming community, that follows the 1st Cavalry Division throughout History. Primarily we focus ourselves around the Vietnam War, however we also host operations set during the Second World War, Korean War, and many other Cold War/ Modern conflicts. We utilize three separate custom modpacks to give you the most immersive and fun experience possible. In addition to ArmA events, we also host "game nights" where our members congregate to play an assortment of many other games in an organized fashion. Our Unit philosophy revolves around the principle of balancing realism and fun, to provide you with the best experience possible. Furthermore due to our semi-serious disposition, we do not salute, we do not call each other by our ranks, nor do we call our officers "Sir". Instead of this, we strive to create a more realistic & immersive experience by utilizing period accurate tactics, strategies, equipment, etc. We run Saturday Bi-Weekly Operations @ 7PM EST, This can be on any of our 3 mods packs (Vietnam, WW2, Modern) However, we will run with one modpack for atleast for operations in a campaign style. Our Modpacks are downloaded using ArmA3Sync for easy management of mods. We also have 'Game Nights' @ 7PM EST On the alternate Saturdays, this can be any game that people want to play for that night. 4th Marine Raider Battalion Realism Unit The 4th Marine Raider Battalion Realism Unit, aka 4th MRB, is a realism unit in the Arma 3 community. We simulate a fictional unit within the Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The 4th MRB is structured and organized identical to a real life MARSOC battalion, with attached supporting USSOCOM units. The 4th MRB was founded by long-serving members of a different Arma 3 realism unit which emulates another real life United States Marine Corps Unit. The 4th MRB attempts to maintain the discipline, professionalism, and esprit de corps of real US Marine special operators. The fun and excitement members of this unit enjoy is the result of the difficult and challenging operations we are asked to perform and in developing skills and unique tactics commonly practiced by special operators within the special operations community. These typically include (though are not limited to) direct action missions, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense, counter-insurgency, unconventional warfare, maritime interdiction, counter-narco terrorism, hostage rescue, preparation of the environment, security force assistance, gas & oil platform operations, and special clandestine operations. Based out of Marine Camp Currin, Bozacaada, Turkey - the unit currently consists 4th Marine Raider Battalion, 4th Marine Raider Support Battalion, and associated SOCOM supporting elements from 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) and 27th Special Operations Group, 27th Special Operations Wing. Hello! We are The Arma Bois and we are a small(~15 active players) Semi-milsim and a bit more casual community mostly consisting of friends. We have both experienced players and newbies so anyone is welcome to join! We are based in the EU and we play missions each Sunday at 16:00 CEST. Those are zeused by me and they are set anywhere from WW2 till present. We also have an antistasi server up 24/7 and we plan to run smaller missions during the week outside of our main ones. There is no training per se, but we need you to know the basics of Ace. Mission organization: We do not have designated people for squads/squad roles, because the mission types vary and we like to keep it casual. You can slot yourself in whichever squad you want with whoever you like as long as the slot is not taken. We do have groups of Czechs and Germans who sometimes tend to play together with their native tongue, however English is the primary language everyone needs to know for communication with other squads and their players. We do not have an attendance so it is ok if you miss out on a mission every now and then. Mods we use: Due to the variety of missions I create, there is a lot of mods required for different factions. You can expect the usual RHS and CUP stuff with WW2 mods such as IFA3 and more. We use ACE for realisms sake and ACRE2 for proxy chat, radios etc. Due to ACRE, you will need to have Team Speak installed. Operation Dates: Sundays at 14:00 US EST Project Simulation 2nd Campaign The Katrol Standoff is the second campaign for the arma 3 Project Simulation Milsim, depicting a contemporary, fictional crisis located in South America, replacing modern day Guyana, Suriname and French Guyana, altering their history and replacing them with three fictional states: Vespaccia, Sevincia and Massere. Players would be met with a "Persistent Campaign" where their choices and actions determine the development, along with the outcome of the campaign, while maintaining our typical realism and immersion. Expectations for the campaign can range from counter guerrila actions to full blown urban combat depending on the actions of the player base. Following the end of World War two and the start of the decolonization process, what follows is the birth of several new states, such occurrence is no different in South America where old european colonies gain their independence and seek to assert their dominance over the important world wide trade route that goes through the series of islands that make up the Katrol Archipelago. Conflicts between these countries aren’t unheard of and have greatly damaged trade in the past, however with all three governments recently entering international talks there has been agreement to host a military exercise in the region, we are sending you to represent us and have hopes that you will do your best to finally put an end to tensions in the region. We will play as the US Army and take action in the Archipelago, looking to secure regional stability and maintain the world wide trade-route as secure as possible, since little is known about the region outside of the three main factions there present you will be working with each one of them for the first couple of days in order to figure out the state of affairs there in. Regicide Tempestus Scions For the Emperor! Introduction We are a tightly connected and constantly growing ArmA 3 semi-serious unit playing in the universe of Warhammer 40,000. We are impersonating an elite special force of the Imperium of Man known as Tempestus Scions. The elite status allows our unit to access a wide range of equipment - starting with lasguns and flamers, going through plasmaguns all the way up to destructive melta bombs and meltaguns. We fight across a vast plethora of environments - from snowy tundras or huge jungles of unexplored planets to centres of massive hive cities populated with both allies and civilians. The enemy of men is our enemy - orks, forces of chaos, tyranids, traitors, demons and much, much more. About us Our main objective is to create a fun and unique experience enjoyed by every member of the unit. The experience, which is both challenging and entertaining. We boast a wide range of operations, whether that is our main campaign, side campaign or a simple fun op where we impersonate other armies - Warhammer or not. Depending on the Zeus, we may have different ORBATs, different style of campaign and totally different experience. Currently, we have two main parts of the unit: Tempestus Scions Adeptus Mechanicus Tempestus Scions are the core of the unit - the killers and the defenders in every conflict we are engaged in. This is the main backbone of the unit - Assault, Armour, Heavy Weapons, Mortars, Heavy Artillery, Fire Support and many more. Carpe Noctem Tactical Operations Carpe Noctem Tactical Operations was founded in 2014 as an Arma 3 community that aims to balance a realistic combat environment with fun gameplay. We play missions on Tuesday and Friday using a custom modset designed to improve your Arma experience. The average age of our members is 25 years old, mostly from Europe and we want to attract mature and motivated people to the community. Our play style is semi-serious and in many respects very similar to ShackTac. We employ real tactics, techniques and procedures adapted for Arma 3. Our goal is to have serious fun, not a tedious boot camp simulation. We are a friendly, relaxed and organized community that enjoys playing a variety of games together and have a good laugh. Unit Name: 88th Special Forces Group Timezone: EST Country: USA Play Style: Semi-Realism Attendance Requirements: Once per 60 days Brief Description of The 88th SFG The 88th SFG is a small group of players who have played Arma together for the past 3 years. We strive for quality experiences in our missions and campaigns which are custom tailored in real time by our dedicated Zeus. What types of missions does the 88th conduct? The 88th SFG's mission scope is extremely broad. Anything really! Simple roadblock security, search and destroy, heavy convoys, infiltration and demolition, HVT capture/kill missions, the list goes on. We do everything under the sun. If you've got an idea for an operation, run it by the unit staff and we can work it in. Does the 88th have any training requirements? The only roles that require training in the 88th are senior leadership positions, RTO, medic, and pilot. **Please note that if you have previous experience and can demonstrate that your abilities are to our standard then, the training requirement is waived.** Occasionally we run FTX (field training exercises) as a whole unit to increase our proficiency in areas we all find we are lacking. What can you expect by playing with the 88th? Unit longevity - We've all played the Arma series for well over a decade whereas some of us have played as early as the original Operation Flashpoint. The 88th isn't disappearing. Dynamic Operations - Our operations are Zeus led and sometimes include scripts to enhance a story line or bring a new layer of chaos to the battlefield. You can expect a few elements of roleplay depending on what our tasking is at the time. Role Diversity - We do not have permanent roles within the unit. Nobody wants to be an assistant gunner forever. Roles change from operation to operation so, you can expect to play as an Anti-Tank rifleman one op then, as a marksman the next. This doesn't mean you can't communicate a preference for a particular role. We will always consider player preference. Fresh Environments - We do many missions among a single campaign and those campaigns are always on new terrains with equipment and factions that differ from the previous campaign. You can expect something different every time we complete a campaign. All Around Fun - We don't have any room for no nonsense attitudes as we understand this is a game in which fun is the primary objective. We do take the missions seriously but, we can never have too many jokes or funny moments. When does the 88th play? We play every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:00 PM EST. Sometimes we play in between those days if people want to. How can you join? You can join by clicking this Discord invite link. **Please note that the channels you see at the time of joining are very limited and are specifically for the intake of new members. If you elect to join then, you will see the full unit Discord.** 88th SFG Discord

About Us The 25th Infantry Division Realism Unit was founded in the early weeks of January of 2021. With one goal in mind, to provide a professional and immersive virtual military environment by utilizing real-world tactics, techniques, and procedures used by the United States Army. In addition to using mods such as ACE3, ACRE, RHS Escalation, and more to further enhance our goal. Must own required DLC for operations, such as Apex and Contact. Willingness to install operation-related modifications to the game. Do not worry! We accept: People already in other units, we are a relaxed community. People willing to joke around and have fun in our relaxed environment. Willingness to vibe and chill with our unit! Operation Schedule: Monday - 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday - 9:00 PM CDT Friday - 9:00 PM CDT Other days may be hosted on but will be notified on short notice. About Cobra Intervention Cobra Intervention Team, formerly known as the 95th Reconnaissance Unit, started as an Arma 2 MILSIM unit in late 2015. The 95th's ambition was to be a serious MILSIM group with expansive and competitive grounds, but later went solitary and merged into a PMC known as Cobra Intervention Team. No longer a strict MILSIM unit, Cobra Intervention relaxed their attitude and became more-so of a semi-serious versatile private military corporation. What We Do Cobra Intervention is a relaxed group that focuses on performing realistic military simulation on terrorist hunting, liberating maps, and even doing simple tasks such as doing roadblocks. We do not prioritize any particular part of the world or map, as our ambitions are vast across many areas. However, our latest campaign has been liberating Altis from intensive CSAT control. Our Team Our ranking structure follows a hybrid between a traditional Army ranking structure and a hand-created PMC ranking structure. With a lenient form of hierarchy, we start all recruits off in basic training where they will be designated a role during operations. Don't worry, though! If you have the expertise, you will be assigned accordingly based on your expertise. However, we will try to diversify your skillset and try to make you versatile in any designated role. Upon completing basic training, you will be given your designation and ranked as a Private. Ranking Up Ranking up is as simple as engaging, interacting, and performing in duties! We acknowledge the ones who participate! Accepting Officers We are, also, accepting divisionary officers and squadron leaders to help guide our new recruits to success! Join the Discord for more information on what positions are available. How To Join Joining is as simple as joining our Discord! We will be able to assist you in your endeavor to serve alongside our unit.

The 4th Special Forces Group is a unit of ArmA III players. Our missions are weighted towards Special Forces and Special Missions Units from a variety of time periods from OSS missions during WW2, MAC-V SOG operations into Vietnam and the Cold War through the 1980's and 1990's until the modern day, running high tier operations all the way down to a basic foot or mounted patrol. We use ALiVE to bring a large amount of intelligent AI in a living war zone, having minimal frame impact. We play ArmA III primarily but our community is very close and plays a variety of other games, so if you're looking for a place to call home you're in the right place. We've been around for several years and are always willing to train/welcome in new players, and also have internal mod developers working with the unit. One of our goals is to keep realism at a level where it enhances immersion but does not take away from the game play, so we are a semi-realism / Tactical group rather than a hard Milsim unit. Don't expect to be doing push ups and calling everyone Sir, but instead expect intense combat, deep recon and entertaining ALiVE missions.
