The 2-6th Rifle Company is an immersive but still casual military role-playing experience focused on the operations of a USMC light infantry unit. Players can take on various combat roles, including machine gunner, anti-tank specialist, grenadier, and light vehicle crewman (e.g., Humvees, MRAPs, and LAVs). We enhance the realism and excitement of gameplay by incorporating mods such as ACE, RHS, Breach, and MCC, as well as Taskforce Radio for communication. Task Force Yodel Join us on Discord! Arma Units Page Task force Yodel is a casual unit focused on Small Unit tactics, combined arms operations, tactical proficiency and above all else; having fun. We provide a friendly but not too serious atmosphere, where unit members are encouraged to learn and grow their tactical skills. We offer training in different areas (not just infantry), and are working on a specialization system that allows you to prove your skills in a subject area and get an in game patch and discord role to show off your hard work. (We do not force people into playing specific roles though). Operations Most of our operations are custom built scenarios written by one of our mission builders. We have (among many) infiltration, combined arms, full out assault, logistics and gurella tactics based missions. Sundays 1730 EST/1430 PST/2130 GMT We conduct a short refresher training on a different subject each time, then move into a custom mission. Will soon be adding a week day operation. Mods We try to keep the amount of mods to a minimum to save on disk space. We are at about 50 mods so far, and consider every new one to make sure it does not put undue burden on members with smaller drives. Our main mods are: CBA ACE3 MSF (Mission Support Foundation) RHS mods TFAR Requirements 16 years of age or older. Working Microphone. Apex DLC (We run a lot of ops on Tanoa, but can work around if you don’t have it). We don’t have manditory training, but we do offer training in different areas. -
292nd Airborne Regiment Discord (If you're interested in our Ops, join here!) Roster The 292nd Airborne Regiment “The Lion’s Fury” is a German Airborne themed unit, which focuses on Light Realism/Semi-Realism. We do not consider ourselves a Milsim unit, but a Semi-Realism unit, meaning we don’t have such things as locked first person view and obligatory training. Our main goal is to have fun while playing ArmA 3 in. We are currently looking to generally expand our roster, we have multitudes of different roles available each op. Most of the available roles are infantry, but we do also have Air assets that are deployed almost every op and we also occasionally deploy a vehicle crew with an IFV. The 292nd also provides a Discord/TeamSpeak hangout to play other games in along with an ArmA 3 server that's on 24/7. Operations Schedule The 292nd currently have at minimum 2 ops every week. Ops last 2 hours on average. Friday: 4 PM US Eastern/9 PM GMT. (We do any kind of campaign people want, from Halo to VDV or Starship Troopers. We also host an ArmA Reforger operation once a month) Saturday: 3 PM US Eastern/8 PM GMT. (We do our German campaign) Mods Our units' most central mods include addons such as TFAR, ACE, CBA, RHS and much more, including our own custom addon for custom uniforms. Our operations also require the Western Sahara CDLC and the Reaction Forces CDLC or their Compatibility data mods. Our medical system is currently ACE Pharmacy. 1st Battalion. 10th Special Forces Group, Delta Company "Dagger". [DAGR] 10th SFG is a unit co-founded by LT. Colonel Clint and myself. We're a small group of about 20-odd some chill individuals who all find comfort, enjoyment and solace in the MILSIM genre. All of our Ops are homebrewed, modded and zeused by our very own LT Colonel Clint. Our main operations are strict(ish) because of the fact that we try to maintain realism when acting on primary objectives, with the goal of growing and performing cohesively as a unit in the process. That being said, we also run side operations and scout operations between our main Ops. These Ops are typically a lot more lax, and allow for more freedom with kit and mishaps. We run operations semi-regularly as we recognize that both personnel and ourselves have lives that come before the unit. Sometimes there may be a week or two where an op doesn't get hosted. Do not despair. We allow ALL of our personnel the freedom to create and host their own side operations once they've become a full fledged member of the unit. Apollo is fully integrated into our discord server for scheduling and notifications, so everyone in the unit will know when you're making an Op. 10th Command operates out of CST/EST, however our operations are often pretty late in the day to try and account for everyone's time zones and availability. While the regions/timezone listed for the sake of this post, ANYONE from anywhere is welcome in 10th SFG as long as you are able to abide by the following simple rules: 1. NO RACISM/BE RESPECTFUL - We're all a pretty lenient bunch of folks in 10th. Targeted Racism of ANY kind will not be tolerated. Everyone in this unit is a human being. All we expect from you is that you treat them accordingly. 2. DON'T BE A TROLL - Again, we're pretty chill in 10th. Don't be that guy that straps a 40mm on your bottom rail and griefs the entire Op. We have designated times for people to goof around. We don't hate fun. Part of that fun is keeping the main Ops realistic for the people who enjoy it, such as myself. 3. FOLLOW THE CHAIN OF COMMAND - During your time in 10th, we expect you respect your peers, but especially your superior officers. Everyone EARNS their rank, and should be treated as such. Ranks in this unit are earned via distinguished service. This shows itself in many forms, being activity, performance in the Ops, general ability to follow orders, as well as acting when deemed necessary without them. We here at Eglin AFB | USASOC focus on creating storyline based RP with a emphasis on realism within our Deployed Field Operations and FTXs. We combine the RP lifestyle with a plethora of real life knowledge and tactics from our outstanding Active Duty, Veteran, and Reserve personnel. We seek to make something fun, new, and unique; especially since our future plans are to host several different units under one umbrella, operating together to achieve one Ground Commanders goal in a AOR. Currently we utilize a heavily customized base map when we're not deployed, where everything from Training, FTXs, and RP events like just hanging out at a BBQ happens! Individual Unit commanders set their units time and schedule for events and the server is always open for you to hang around or get your own training in. Who are we? TBD, a Semi-serious Tac-Sim Unit that was created for the purpose of organized enjoyment of Arma 3. While the mission priority is member enjoyment of a common game, we strive to employ real world tactics in a causal environment, inviting to skilled Mil-Sim veterans and easygoing players alike. We are a small tight knit group where most of the members have been playing Arma together for a few years now, and we are looking to expand our play style to others. What Roles we looking for? Currently Thor's Bastard Detachment is looking to expand primarily our infantry and ground forces. At this time we are not looking to fulfill any pilot roles, however expanding our flight section is under consideration for future development. Why Us? TBD takes pride in utilizing the term Tac-Sim. What this means is gameplay execution is done so with a tactics based mindset and task oriented communication, avoiding the rigid rank structure of typical Mil-Sim units. In other words, we are more laid back and easy going outside of operations, however when the mission is in progress we opt for a more serious approach. Our goal with this is to bridge the gap between the different level of players that the Arma 3 community has to offer. What do operations look like? While the unit has a focus on modern day combat forces, our group has no set decade or faction. We partake in one off missions and feature length campaigns alike. We let our mission makers make operations that they feel can be engaging, interesting to explore and fun, this could vary anywhere from missions based in current day reality to different fictional universes. WEW Lads 2 is a joint ARMA and DCS group based in the 1990s (now 1996) with campaigns that coincide with one another. Very casual play style on the ARMA side, while the DCS side does tend to be more "realistic". Weekly events are held on Wednesdays (DCS) and Thursdays (ARMA) at 9pm EST. For over 10 years SDS has been a gaming community focused on bringing best experience and good balance between realistic and fun gameplay. We offer regular events and training, including first aid, helicopters/planes and team leading. Missions take place EVERY Saturday at 2000hrs GMT+1 on our private server. Welcome to the 5th Ranger Battalion! The 5th was created in December 2023 with many goals in mind both short and long term. Our short term goal was to establish a small but fortified command team including officers and NCOs in Aviation and Infantry including our Reconnaissance team. In just a month we have completed this goal and have completed multiple successful small team operations. Our long term and continuous goal is to build the 5th into a action packed and well structured milsim community. This being said we are highly focused on creating the best experience with a thorough application process to ensure everyone finds their place and reaches their goals within the Battalion. One of our most asked questions is how serious is the milsim? I can set a few expectations when joining operations. Expect to respect and follow the chain of command when in play and understand the we place NCOs and Officers in positions to provide the best experience possible. No, you will not have to Salute officers in a video game. No, you will not be expected to do virtual push-ups or run laps around the airfield because you grabbed the wrong pair of gloves from the box. Just understand that we have a standard and want a great and immersive experience for everyone. We will always try our best to provide quick and detailed mission briefings on the Ops with I's dotted and T's crossed by 15 min after start time so you can focus on enjoying your time. I'm part of a UKSF unit leading Induction and Recruitment while also helping with training. We're strictly 18+ so very mature group of people from all over the world. Our average age would currently be 24+ At present we have 30+ members, and that number is growing, so we all get to know each other very well. As a unit we have been operating for 4 years now and we are not stopping any time soon, so all very seasoned Arma 3 veterans. At present we are exclusive to Arma 3, no plans to move to Reforger. We are ambitious though, so we plan on transitioning to Arma 4 when that becomes available. We focus on mil-sim realism and team play with a huge emphasis on the team play and coordination. We have training at 1900hrs BST every Wednesday, with optional workshops throughout the week. And operations at 1900hrs BST every Sunday During the downtime we have a lot of other events for other games going on throughout the week. such as DayZ, HOI4 and much more. Current mods include the best that comes to Arma 3 such as: RHS, CUP, ACE, KAT Medical, 3CB and much more, with all mods being optimized for our equipment available to us at any given operation and training session. About us We are a modern SOF unit that operates within a variety of different contemporary environments utilizing the Liberation Rx framework. We were initially comprised of current/former Canadian military members and are now looking to expand our small community. As we host a 24/7 persistent campaign server, operators may join and leave as they like throughout the week. We do NOT offer a role-specific structure, but rather prefer the unique playstyles of each of our operators that's force multiplied by an AI team. 28th Regiment About Us The 28th Regiment is a Semi-Milsim, Semi-Serious Unit set in the Modern British Armed Forces. We are a combined arms force with an Infantry, Recon, Armored and Aerial detachments. We deploy all around the globe typically assisting local forces with emerging or serious threats. We do not operate off a Ranking System but instead slot people based on Qualifications and Trust meaning that members can obtain any role they wish simply by completing the relevant training. we also offer a Reward system to show off your achievements to the rest of the Unit. 28th regiment also runs an Antistasi mission on weekends. this will switch to a Liberation mission once the Antistasi is over. All aspects of these missions are voted on by all unit members, keeping things fresh and interesting. Welcome to the New Zealand Forces New Zealand Forces is a small gaming community of mature Australian and New Zealand based players who mostly play Arma 3 but do enjoy a wide variety of games.
