Hello fine folks, I've got a friend who's getting kicked with the error Steam authentication failed with the following lines in the .rpt: Version 1.98.146373 Fault time: 2020/08/24 21:55:45 Fault address: 8000A90E 00:8000A90E Unknown module file: OUR_Mission (__CUR_MP) world: Malden Prev. code bytes: 00 00 48 8B 17 EB 5D 4C 8B 42 58 4D 85 C0 74 0E Fault code bytes: 49 8B 00 48 89 42 58 66 44 01 6A 74 EB 2E 4C 8B He already reinstalled steam, arma 3, launched without mods. We just checked his router settings and firewall plus his windows firewall. We have quite some guys with IT background in our clan but are running out of ideas. Have any of you encountered a similar issue? What more files can I provide to help sort this out? Thank you in advance,

Hey all, I started the 2 hour free trial, I did manage to play 1 game last night. But today I logged in, stocked up in my base then went to the map to start a round, but all the maps to choose from are greyed out and I cannot play a round. Is this normal, as in are the maps resetting? I have just under an hour left to play and don't really want to waste it sitting in my base waiting for servers to show the maps. The 1 game I played I do like it, but need a little more gameplay time to see if its worth a purchase.

Hello everyone, I recently got into helicopter flight, I have been practicing for quite a while. I was just wondering if there are any online servers where I can just hang out and fly helicopters with other pilots, where there is no combat, but just flight and conversation. How to make markers only show when certain players are online?

So I want to use markers that are linked to playable characters. My players will be playing characters that live in certain places or know certain things from the start of the mission. They have the ability to choose what kind of character they want to play out of a multitude of characters. However since I have multiple choises of character for the players I do not wish them to know the markers of the characters that are not being played. So how am I able to link these markers to the characters and only let them be show when a character is being controller by a player. TLDR: How do I link a marker to a unit that only shows up when a player is controlling that unit. But the marker has to be visible to everyone. -
So i have a couple of questions about arma 3 that i cant seem to find the answer of anywhere, So firstly is there any kind of open world pvp without a specific mission? and is there any kind of looting for weapons like DayZ. I know many will say play dayz but i would rather not spend my money on that buggy thing and would rather not have zombies in the world

My specs: GPU: gtx 765m CPU: i7 4700 @ 2.4 ghz RAM: 16gb windows 10 I have played about 800 hours of ARMA 3 both online and ofline and have had great, fun gameplay with no issues. suddenly within the last 2 week any online servers I join I get about 9 fps up to 15 peak, which is not playable. Ofline I get 50+ fps. This shouldn't be a settings issue or a server issue seeing as though i have play 800 hours without an issue and have tested mulitple servers. Things I have tried: -PC resets. -game cache check. -disabling mcafee virus protection and real time scanning. -uninstalled mcafee and disabling windows firewall. -tried multiple servers (all extreme low fps). -lowing settings to everything as low as possible (no increase in fps online). -I have no other issues in any other games online or offline. -searched the internet for someone that has fixed this, most that have had a matching issued said it was there virus scanner. -cpu and gpu dont seem to be showing any signs of havning an issue. Im completely out of ideas.

Make single player mod working online?

Me and my friend is playing DUWS in a private server (just me and him), we are using simple single player cheat menu which works fine in online. But i would like to get this mod working also: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=25866 But when I'm ingame, the button to activate the super soldier mode won't appear. does anyone know if there is something i could change to get this working on my server? Thanks!! Update: I found this in a file called scriptInit.sqf /init script only run once //check if is server if(!isServer) exitWith{ player sideChat "YQ_MOD can only activate on server"; }; //load all fnc [] call compile preprocessFile "@YQ_MOD\data\fnc\fnc__loader.sqf"; I tried to remove the "servercheck", but the button to activate the mod still didn't appear.
