    DMS - Defent's Mission System

    Sharing my A3DMS Missions for Arma 3 Exile. These Missions are set up to use reinforcements on both static and bandit missions. Working vehicle, helicopter, and foot soldiers when a defined number of AI in a group are killed the reinforcements will come in. The helicopter will fly around as gun ship it will not drop troops If you enable it may or may not work right has a mind of its own when doing pardrops. Take a look at the bandit mission blackHawkDown.sqf, static missions Saltflats.sqf, StoptheMayor.sqf, and Chelonisipower.sqf to see the randomization these have to offer. I run these on my server and players like the randomization because it never plays out the same and they dont get use to the same exact stuff at the missions. If you use dms you cannot use just the missions out of here it will not work you need the scripts folder and the missions folder due to the changes I had to make to 2 scripts and all bandit missions to get this all to work. Also In the blackHawkDown.sqf is specific cordinates put in each pos case and it runs of choosing a mission location off of chordinates you put in there instead of the normal bandit mission random locations. I did this because the buildings for this mission do not work well on hills. the cordinates that are there are for Altis map so if you use another map you need to get cordinates put in where you want possible spawns to be. https://github.com/Crito-VanaheimServers/Reworked-A3DMS-Missions

Hello Lads, I am new to Arma Community and i have been into Arma since 6 months. i learned a lot and i'm in love of this game, and Frankly i want to do my own campaigns, Missions, Mods, and Intros. But i can't due lack of Experience in Arma 3, i watch a lot of Youtube Videos and tutorials, i'll get straight to point ... i want to use the Damn F*cking Intro/ Scenario/Outro Bar and it's Complicated with Feurex Tutorial Video - like Class Campaign {}, Class missionDefault {}, and a lot a lot... i just need assistance in my work that's all, if anyone could give me an example of the perfect Campaign or show me how to open Eastwind Project mission files so i can learn from the Original Campaign, i would be very fuckin Appreciate. Also i have military Experience, i know a lot of Covert Ops and Operations done amazingly by The US Armed Forces and British Armed Forces including The SAS, US Delta, US Navy SEALs and i can assist in Mission Making for anyone including Middle East Military.
  4. I am trying to figure out how to script AI to open a gate in a mission. A basic security checkpoint gate that is part of the map (NOT a spawned object) keeps getting smashed by my HMMWV instead of it being opened and driven through. Can anyone help?
  5. A3_vemf_Re_reloaded Vemf_reloaded was originally made by IT07 and last commit on vemf_reloaded was in 2017.... I really like this mission script, but in my opinion it was missing some essential features compared to other mission systems. So I decided to add and fix some of the stuff for vemf. Check the Changelog for fixes and new stuff.   6. So I'm currently making a vanilla (except for 3den enhanced on my end) singleplayer campaign. I finished Feuerex's tutorial on the subject but I still have some questions. 1. How can I hide missions that the player hasn't gotten to yet in the campaign menu? 2. How do I transfer the player's inventory between missions? And then I have some questions relating to my campaign in general. 1. How do I move the mission between scenario phases? (referring to these https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Eden_Editor:_Scenario_Phases) 2. How should I go about making a hub level? like camp maxwell in survive. 3. How do I make required gear for missions while in the hub level? Again using survive as an example.
  7. Hello guys, I'm creating a mission with two soldiers. When I upload the mission to the workshop, I want to be available both as a SP,COOP when someone subscribes to it. In particular, I want the mission to be visible under the "Scenarios" screen and also when starting a network host to the map in order to play it with a friend. How can I do this? Do I have to export and upload separately and the workshop will group it as one or something else? Thanks

  14. Hi, I'm having a trouble when I create CfRadio in my Description.ext file. It says "radio message GodDamnit not found". Class CfgRadio { sounds[] = {"GodDamnit"}; Class GodDamnit { Name = "GodDamnit" ; Sound[] = {"Goddamnit.ogg", db + 1, 1.0}; Title = "For FUCK SAKE!"; }; };
  15. A week or so ago I saw my key bindings reset. I was a bit annoyed but it had happened before so I just re-did them and carried on. However, I have just now gone into the editor and seen that none of the missions under my user profile are shown. I have checked the launcher, and I am definitely loading the "Lawman" profile, of which there is only one. I have also checked the Arma 3 - Other profiles / Lawman / missions folder to confirm my mission files are still there, which they are. Not sure what to do from here on. I tried saving a new mission file to see where it ended up, and It appears to have been placed in the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Missions Have BIS changed something so mission files are no longer local to profile? Hey guys, something been bothering me for some time with the editor, so i created a new task on the Arma3 feedback tracker (Phabricator) Feedback Ticket: https://feedback.bistudio.com/T134894 Below is my exact post from the ticket: New feature/function editor adjustment When i start the editor, and choose a map to edit on, the list on the left should only show those missions for the map i am on. Why is all the missions i created showing for all other maps when i opened a specific map? This forces you to search and then search again, opening a map in the map list, and then looking for your mission in this new list of missions for all maps when your on a specific map. Important points: Expand the open mission box so all map and mission names can be read. Have a box you can tick in the open missions box to allow you to see only missions for that map when you get to that map in the editor, if left unticked then default, ticked box will stay ticked until you untick it. So if you wanted to go to another map say from Altis to edit, transfer, copy what have you, then untick the map box, and all the maps/missions list will show. Overall idea So the idea overall is to when you click on editor on the main menu of the game ----> choose map -----> missions created (if any) are only seen in the list just for that map, until you untick the missions list option to go to another map or open another mission.   20. Hi, I recently started to get addicted to Zeus missions and I'm currently working on a second mission for my friends. However this mission is a Campaign. I want to "recreate" the Arma Cold War Assault: Resistance campaign. The Idea is: The players would be spawned in as civilians, each with a different profession for instance, Mechanic, Motorcrosser, Doctor, Chemistry Teacher, etc. Their loadout being matched to that profession. Shorty after the players spawned they will get a radio message signalling the start of the russian invasion into Nogova and they'll have to find the Resistance and support it. They are supposed to recruit civilians, find weapons and ammo and claim vehicles and eventually turn into resistance commanders with the forces they gathered. Now I can deal with the recruits they get and the vehicles they find but I still need a solution for their personal loadout that needs to get saved between missions and a solution to keep all the items they find and store in crates. The problem is I want to keep editing the mission in the editor so I can plan the next mission, enemy moves, etc, etc. But I need to know what my players collected in the crates and on their own loadouts. Maybe there is some way to save the mission while it is in progres or when it ends and to then edit that mission in the editor with every loadout and container inventory saved? I do not want to use arsenal since I know my players and they WILL take weapons and items that are not related to the mission. Also I'm not a scripter. I do understand a few little things but I cannot write a simple script without help. Just so you guys know my level. Thanks in advance.
  21. Here are some missions for Arma II. Army of the Czech Republic and other possible DLCs are required. Lite versions should do the job fine. Follow the instructions for installing coop-missions. Remember to delete the old mission pack completely! If you are unfamiliar in installing missions, then follow these steps: #1 - Create a folder named "Missions" in your game installation folder, if you dont have one. #2 - Copy or cut the folder "Kalle's Mission Pack" to your "Missions" folder inside the game installation folder. #3 - Missions with "co" or "coop" are COOP missions, which can also be played as singleplayer. If you want to play them as singleplayer, then follow the steps #1 and #2. If you want to play them as COOP, then create a folder called "MPMissions" inside the game installation folder if it doesn't exist and put the .pbo files from folder "Kalle's Mission Pack" there. I have spent a lot of time making my missions so i want to know if there is a way to backup the missions somewhere and how people go about doing it? What is the process? Thanks.

    Simple Zeus questions

    Hi. I'm trying to create my first scenario. have some questions about EDEN and Zeus. 1) When I place an Ai, eg a civilian in Eden-editor, how can I controll that Ai when I enter play as zeus? When I'm Zeus in a game, I can place an Ai and controll him, but I cannot controll pre-placed Ais. How do I do this? Same thing goes for preplaced objects and buildings. 2) Is it possible to make custom presets in Zeus and/or Eden? Say I want to create a custom made base, road controll point, or a custom made personell group, and save them as presets in the menu - how can I do this? Thanks in advance //Nutzgo
