For maps like the vanilla ones when there's enough ocean to place the USS Freedom & USS Liberty from the Jets DLC, I think it would be great to have a high quality vanilla remake of the A2/CUP LHD and an LPD with functional doors like the destroyer, so that way people have more options for mission design & deployment positions, versus just being on a different side of an island as the enemy. Also a vanilla option would help prevent clipping through the floor. It would be a good way to introduce the Marines into the A3 story and it wouldn't really need a campaign or any new assets to accompany it as it could be explained that all branches field MultiCam uniforms in this universe and the Marines use the vanilla HK416 while the army uses the vanilla ACR clone. -
22nd MEU is a Realism Unit in Arma 3. We strive to simulate the operation of an Marine Expeditionary Unit by using real world Marine organization and tactics. With that said, we are not a strict by the book gaming unit. Our primary goal is for our members to have fun within the policies and guidelines of our unit. Requirements: Minimum Age Required: 17 years old. (NO WAIVERS OR EXCEPTIONS GRANTED) Must have a valid copy of ArmA 3 and a valid Player ID. An invalid or missing Player ID will result in your application not being processed. Must have Teamspeak 3 and a working microphone. Ability to attend Unit wide events, taking place on Sundays at 2000 Eastern Time or Saturdays at 1500 Eastern Time. We do not allow Dual Clanning. Upon submitting an application, all applicants will be required to provide a valid first and last name. However, you are not required to provide your real first or last name. You can choose a fictional name, as long as it meets the following guidelines: We have Aviation, Navy Medical, JTAC, System Operators, and much much more! We are actively looking for outgoing and fun players who enjoy Marine Corps Realism. We currently have 14x 0311 Rifleman billets open! x1 Squad Systems Operator (More MOS/Jobs opening soon!)
