This mod adds a VS-17 Signal Panel inventory item. When deployed using CBA inventory interaction it will act as a helipad for AI pilots to land at. The panel can also be just dropped from inventory like any item, but it will NOT act as a helipad in such cases, it has to be deployed using the CBA interaction. It's rather easy to tell if the panel is deployed or just dropped: deployed panel is facing the red side up, while dropped is facing yellow side up. After deploying the panel you can interact with it to pack it up, if you have enough space in your inventory. Even the dropped panel is still useful for human player pilots. How to use: * Have the "VS-17 Signal Panel" item in your inventory (it's in the misc item section in Arsenal) * Double left click on the panel item in your inventory to bring up the CBA interaction menu * Use the "Place VS-17 Signal Panel" to deploy the panel with red side facing up. Client moving a Helipad placed using the Eden Editor (Server) via remoteExec
LSValmont posted a topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Hello guys. I need your help once again. I have this line of code working perfectly for the Server Host: openMap true; MapClicked = false; onMapSingleClick "HHH setPos [_pos select 0,_pos select 1, 0] ;(group transportHeli) move _pos; MapClicked = true; onMapSingleClick ''; true;"; Where HHH is the name of a Helipad placed on the Eden Editor. That previous line does not work in MP of course since when a client calls the script the helicopter with crew (also placed via Editor) nor the Helipad move to the onMapSingleClick location. I've tried the following remoteExec code: onMapSingleClick "[HHH,[_pos select 0,_pos select 1, 0]] remoteExec ["setPos", HHH]; [(group transportHeli),[_pos]] remoteExec ["move", (group transportHeli)]; MapClicked = true; onMapSingleClick ''; true;"; But I get this error: Error SETPOS: TYPE ANY , EXPECTED OBJECT. If I remove: "[HHH,[_pos select 0,_pos select 1, 0]] remoteExec ["setPos", HHH]; And just leave: [(group transportHeli),[_pos]] remoteExec ["move", (group transportHeli)]; Then the error is: Error MOVE: TYPE ANY , EXPECTED OBJECT. But I double checked and the location of both the SetPos and Move commands on the remoteExec are in the correct location and should be working... BIS BUG? Any ideas on how I can solve this issue and/or any other method to get the client to move the server placed helicopter on command? Thanks in advanced.- 3 replies

Get helicopter off Liberty hangar to helipad?
Purzel posted a topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Is it somehow possible to "hook" the helicopter inside the hangar of the USS Liberty and get it thrown out to the Libertys helipad and vice versa? Ingame I´ve found a addaction "hook", but it´s not working? I am using a Ghosthawk and hangar doors are opened. If I´m the driver of the ghosthawk I´ve got the option to hook in action menu, but without any effect. Is there a code known, how to get it hooked from beginning or how do I get it working?- 5 replies

Hi, I try to make my own decal, I first started by cloning BIS helipads and everything was fine, but since my decal need specific sizes, I had to make my own p3d and I couldn't figure out how to configure it to get the decal effect : i used t_d's ODOL Web Converter to unbinarize the helipad p3d and copy the configuration but i can't get it working. Resolution LOD uses the same rvmat as BIS helipads Geometry LOD has damage = no, map = hide and class = house named properties, as BIS helipads BIS helipad on left, my helipad with custom p3d on right :( Thanks for your help
