We do not limit ourselves to a certain country or a unit, despite the USMC, but let ourselves be surprised again and again. From a guerilla fighter in Brazil, to a Russian large-scale offensive, to observing a target for days on end, everything is there. Campaign Our mission builders constantly deepen immersion through large-scale, dynamic campaigns. Every step, every shot and every decision counts as to what the end of the campaign will be, and we want to communicate how serious decisions can be throughout history. No problem, with our buddy system you will immediately be assigned an experienced player who will help you with advice and knowledge and answer all your questions satisfactorily.   2. So I'm currently making a vanilla (except for 3den enhanced on my end) singleplayer campaign. I finished Feuerex's tutorial on the subject but I still have some questions. 1. How can I hide missions that the player hasn't gotten to yet in the campaign menu? 2. How do I transfer the player's inventory between missions? And then I have some questions relating to my campaign in general. 1. How do I move the mission between scenario phases? (referring to these https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Eden_Editor:_Scenario_Phases) 2. How should I go about making a hub level? like camp maxwell in survive. 3. How do I make required gear for missions while in the hub level? Again using survive as an example.
  3. Hi guys, decided to take a break from ARMA 3 and go back to OFP for a while. I remember that back in my days of playing OFP there was this campaign created for WP Soldiers mod called "Operacja Biały Orzeł" (Operation White Eagle in English) and I absolutely loved it. Wanted to go back to it but unfortunately all the links are dead (used Wayback Machine too, unfortunately no results). I would be much obliged if some good soul had it on his/her hard drive and decided to share it.
  4. I want to get into making SP Campaigns but I'm pretty incompetent when it comes to scripting. I'm looking for a project with people who are willing to teach me the basics so I can get some experience.
  5. Wolves and Sheep Campaign on Steam Workshop 20 years after operation Harvest Red, the CHDKz are back. But so is NAPA. Take your stand against the Chedaki oppression and make them feel the power of guerilla warfare. Take down enemy officers, sabotage Chedaki equipment, ambush their convoys a fight for freedom! Immerse yourself in a long story! Stroll once again through the streets of Chernogorsk and venture deep to Chernarussian forrests. The Chedaki are back. And this time, it seems, they plan to finnish, what they started back in 2008. What happens, when no mighty allies come to aid, like in operation Harvest Red? Or do they come? Lots of custom voice acting to hear, lots of cutscenes to watch and lots of seemingly hopeless fights to fight! For everyone, who left a piece of himself in deep dark Chernarussian forrests. Play as a brave NAPA fighter, a special forces team member of the Czech Army, lead British and German teams trhrough tough engagements! This is my first Campaign ever, so any feedback would be highly appreciated. Shall you find a problem, a typo or just wanna share your feelings, let me know!   6. SOG is a North America based Arma 3 unit modelled after the Special Operations Group within the CIA Special Activities Division. We are extending an invitation to personnel interested in becoming Paramilitary Operations Officers, running operations on a different level than typical fire and maneuver combat performed by infantry units. The atmosphere at SOG is more relaxed, as we have all been a part of previous milsim units. No need to report in, finish statements with “Sir!” nor address members by rank. We have a Teamspeak 3 and Arma 3 server and primarily use TS3 and Discord for communications. Events/Operations The main operation typically takes place on Saturdays at 9PM EST Other events and training may take place weekly or as determined. Our servers are online 24/7 with the exception of maintenance, so our members can additionally gather/play at any time.   7. I'm looking for voice actors for a four mission mini-campaign I'm making. The only requirements are to have a good quality mic and have some way for me to get into contact with you. The campaign focuses on the story of a group of NATO soldiers as they escape Stratis during the events of the Survive portion of the East Wind Campaign. The characters needed so far are as follows: Main Character: American, mid 20's, present in all four missions (duh), Supporting Characters: Two, Both American, one is early 30's, one is early 20's, one is present on all four missions, one is present from the second mission onwards NATO Officer: American, late 30's, present only in first mission, only about 10 lines AAF Checkpoint Officer: Altian, mid 30's, present only in first mission, only two lines FIA Agent: Altian, late 20's, present from third mission on If you're interested feel free to send a message my way.   9. Greetings! The 122nd ODST Division is a new unit, looking for people who are active and are 17+ or older. The era the unit will be taking part in is the war with the Covenant (along with fighting insurrectionists as well) and the possibilities can range from dropping behind enemy lines, to supporting militias on occupied worlds or can range to planetary defense or invasion of an occupied world. we are also interested in playing with other units. Information The unit is a community between milsim and casual play, in-game during unit events, members are expected to play with a sense of realism from loading in and grabbing gear to the ending with a debrief. Campaigns will be 4 missions long (1 mission per week), Major Campaigns will be 6-8 missions long (1 1/2-2 months long) operations will be on Sundays at 6pm EST (5pm CST) and training will take place on Friday at 6pm EST (5pm CST). Campaigns will have different endings depending on the outcome of the previous missions before the final one, and can depict of moving the unit to another planet or retreating and changing the outcome of its position in the UNSC's fight against the covenant. Outside of operations members are encouraged to play games with each other in team speak and build a camaraderie between each other to build a tight understanding that can be used in operations without conflict arising.     Arma 3 Campaign

    Hello, community! I received a small example of a already done and created campaign. I wanted to test my skills and learn how to create one. I created 3 small test missions and followed all the steps needed to configure the files and names inside the campaign's folders. What I wanted to know was how to upload the campaign itself and publish it to STEAM for a test. I tried with the Arma 3 Tools Publisher, but the program requires .pbo files to be uploaded. What do I do in this case in order to publish it? Cheers! 🙂

  12. Hello ! I'd like to make a HUB mission in a user-made campaign the same way HUBs are present in the Arma 3 campaign. However, there's no documentation for the HUB parameter in the campaign description.ext reference page, where the only explanations provided are : enableHub = 1; // TBD - has to do with coming back to a "base" . . . //Define a mission to be hub. May have to do with CfgHubs. isHub = 1; // 0: disabled - 1: enabled. Default: 0 Is there someone with knowledge on the subject who can share information on how to make a campaign HUB ? Thanks !

    - DEVELOPMENT DISCONTINUED - Singleplayer Campaign Ice Version: 0.50 ALPHA Good evening, I would like to use this thread to officially announce my recent project in the Armaverse's splendid singleplayer content. A few of you might have stumbled upon my other projects, namely M.E.R.C.S. or Contention Zone, or my various re-texturing efforts and scripting frameworks. This work here, simply called Ice, is my newest and probably biggest baby since I started its development in the beginning of this year. I have reached a state in which I can share some of the details with you and do a fair shair of shameless marketing. Veterans of M.E.R.C.S. will hopefully find Ice to be a worthy successor, both in terms of gameplay and story. Contrary to my approach in M.E.R.C.S., I will not run a public Alpha as the complexity of Ice outruns the complexity all of my other projects, and I am not able to provide easily upgradable releases where I can iteratively add more missions without having you lose your saved progress. Instead, my plan is to finish a rough version of the playable content and release it in Beta state, hopefully in the first quarter of 2016, for you to evaluate and to attract some of you talented voice actors out there.   16. I mean a conection like "Altis Police" and with the AAF as Military and some characters like Nikos Panagopoulos, it can be modded or vanilla, the only thing thats important is the conection with the A3 Campaign.

After a week of feedback, I re-posted a longer (18 campaigns = 276 missions) and better (formatted) list for a more splendid COOP experience!   19. Hello everyone, I just wanted to say that playing the official campaign as single player might drive you crazy, due to the difficulty to pinpoint the location of the AI units firing on you ... We all know there is unfair side in ArmA regarding: the AI units are being able to spot you, while you - as real human player - being lost trying to spot them in return ... Test it and see if it works for you. I know, some people might say: Hay! This is cheating and going to ruin the game ... I know ... I agree ... But, come on guys, the above script will just help someone to play fair with these crazy bots that can spot you like a hawk.
  20. I've searched and haven't found anything on Google. So I apologize if there's something out there. I am creating a campaign on stratis where one task is to capture the air base. After it's captured, I'd like the campaign to automatically load the base up the way I set. So it becomes a friendly base. I would like the same thing to happen when I capture other camps and bases. How can I do this?
  21. After weeks of work, I'm proud to finally present The East Wind: Escalation in a releasable state. EWE is the RHS-inspired adaptation of BIS "The East Wind"-Campaign. Nearly all assets have been exchanged and most scripts have been altered in some way or another. EWE also features a custom made FIA-faction, made with assets from both RHS and BAF. Workshop Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1423933010 (No direct download as of now) I tried to keep it as vanilla as possible, but you obviously require all RHS factions, as well as BAF Weapons and Equipment by 3CB and CBA. In addition to that, I strongly recommend you the following mods, that'll greatly enhance your gameplay experience: DynaSound 2 Enhanced Soundscape Blastcore Edited (Standalone Version) Be advised that, just like the original campaign, EWE is not compatible with ACE/AGM, due to systems conflicting with the mission scripting. However, there are ways to get around that. Don't recommend that though if you don't know what you're doing, and if you know what you're doing, you don't need me to tell you how to. Despite the numerous hours i spent with this project, it is far from being perfect. Consider this release v.0.9. Some bugs are still present and some of the later missions have to be playtested/bugfixed yet. All major work is done though and i'll be releasing a couple of hotfixes in the next few days to tackle the remaining issues. Known Issues: I always appreciate help, and since this is a one-man project, i can need a lot of it. If you find a bug and want to help, try to figure out how to fix it and tell me. Fresh ideas are never a bad thing. This campaign emerged from a small-time project to a full time venture during my holidays and i never thought i would actually be able to pull this off. I learned a lot about Scripting and C++, and i came to really appreciate the work and creativity that BIS has put into this.   23. Hello community! Having finally started the campaign to Arma 3 (very, very good so far I must say!) I have run upon a problem that I have been unable to solve, The gist of the issue is this: I cannot get past the village assault on Wet Work, no matter how much i change or try once you eliminate the enemies in the square, the game CTD's to launcher. I have attempted the -malloc=system "fix" through steam properties as well as verifying files AND redownloading Arma 3 plus all the mods (none of which are active during the campaign, otherwise it bugs out horribly i found to my detriment).   24. I am attempting to publish a custom campaign to the Steam Workshop. I have used Addon Builder and Publisher in BI Tools, but every time I generated a .PBO file of my campaign, the mission files and images would be missing. The campaign would also fail to display in the campaign menu in-game. So, I tried Eliteness, and managed to create a .PBO containing all of my mission files, images, and other essentials. However, upon publishing the campaign and downloading, it still doesn't show up in the campaign menu. Moving the .PBO file to my addons and campaign folders in the ARMA 3 directory doesn't do a thing either.   25. I played Official campaign Steel pegasus, then I was gunner of IFV, but I can't use thermal optics, it could use thermal optics in editor. Is it by design? or Bug or something?
