Good afternoon, today I come to discuss my problem, I have a mission from the map Los Santos edited with NPCs, new areas that I believe, things that I deleted and put other things, ETC The issue is that at the time of loading the mission to the server and with or without NPCs and without a configured mission, no load appears in the console that does not load the Mods, it is well set the address where you have to load the mods, and everything but I try with another map with mods the same edited and its works. I do not know what happens, and please ask for help since I have 2 weeks trying to solve this situation Things that I already try: .Load the mission without NPCs and without a configuration See if the Life_Server and extDB is fine Remove the life server and the extDB from the mission See if the MySQL is well addressed .Reinstall the weapon3 server .See that no mod is corrupt load the mods that the server needs . See that all the Keys are well

In order for our localization team to effectively process feedback, we'd like to ask for your language-specific notes in this thread (or on Feedback Tracker of course). The first iterations of translations are starting to arrive to Dev-Branch, however, we should point out that our own localization testing in all languages is only just beginning.   7. I have just installed steamcmd and Arma 3 on a dedicated Ubuntu-based server, and have been following this tutorial to help me set it up. As described at the top of the document, arma3 is installed in /home/steamcmd/arma3/ install, but the config files etc are in /home/steamcmd/arma3/public. There is also a script in /home/steamcmd/arma3/public called start.sh which should start and configure the arma server. ./arma3server can be executed correctly from /home/steamcmd/arma3/install, and there is a symbolic link to this executable in /home/steamcmd/arma3/public. However when I run ./arma3server from within /home/steamcmd/arma3/public, I get the following error: 2:54:04 No product.bin found, using defaults for a core engine. Running Steam on ubuntu 19.04 64-bit STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically Unpack runtime failed, error code 1 Error: Couldn't set up the Steam Runtime. Are you running low on disk space? Continuing... Press enter to continue: I have narrowed it down to the fact that when I run ./arma3server from /home/steamcmd/arma3/install, it uses steamcmd.sh (located in /home/steamcmd/). However when I run it from /home/steamcmd/arma3/public, it uses steam.sh (also located in /home/steamcmd/) which I gather is a legacy executable. My question is how do I make it use steamcmd.sh instead of steam.sh, as steam.sh causes the error. Thanks for any help.
  8. If you have any feedback on the various assets (props, structures, signs, and later vehicles, weapons, gear, etc.) in Arma 3 Contact, please share it with us here. For concrete bug reports, the best go-to is the Feedback Tracker. General expansion feedback is discussed in this thread. How to access the assets? Main Menu: Shift + P In the DLC Content Browser, select Contact Platform, and explore its contents. Some assets have a TRY button that will open the asset in … Main Menu: TUTORIALS > VIRTUAL ARSENAL (For vehicles, switch to the Garage mode at the top of the screen.) Each asset category shows the appropriate DLC / mod icons behind each asset for easy identification. Use Sort by mod to make it even easier to find them. Note: in this mode you should be able to preview the assets without DLC ownership. Main Menu: EDITOR In the Asset Browser on the right, all assets are marked by the DLC / mod icon. Use the Filter by mods option and select Arma 3 Contact (Platform). What assets are available? Note: these are the assets currently available on Dev-Branch, not all assets in the expansion!

  10. Greetings Earthlings! After a long period of radio silence, we’ve finally revealed the next big addition to the game: Arma 3 Contact expansion. Check out its website for an overview of this very diverse package. We hope there’s something for everyone, not just the heavier sci fi aspect, but also more conventional sandbox goodies. This thread is the best place to let us know about your general feedback, comments, suggestions, and all that doesn’t fit one of the more specific threads. Concrete bug reports are still welcomed to Feedback Tracker. We know our activity there has been lower, but we do check for bugs, and try to fix those we can. Livonia feedback Asset feedback Translation feedback Some additional trivia 💡 Check out the F.A.Q. for some specific topics! The alien content will be in an optionally loaded part of the expansion (via Launcher - folder contact). They will not be in the vanilla sandbox, so that stays fairly conventional. The terrain, weapons, vehicles, etc. will be in default Arma 3 data with Content Licensing applied (folder enoch).
  11. hi guys! Sorry, if I'm wrong, but it seems to me very time consuming to develop an island or territory (NOT from real world map) in TerraBuilder! Me and my team works in game dev. in Unity 3d and we have lot of tools like Gaia with we can generate a lot of assets into the surface, so that would be awesome to know, how to convert (if it is neccessary) to create a workable map into ARMA 3. If everything is ok, we can upload the ready made Terrains into the Armaholic, so everybody can benefits it. Any idea is welcomed 🙂 Thanks, David
  12. Hi there, I'm making a config file for a few vests I have reskinned I'm not sure whats wrong with my code. I keep getting this error: The system cannot find the drive specified. File C:\Users\*myuser*\Desktop\OTRUVests\config.cpp, line 1: '.': '{' encountered instead of '=' Config : some input after EndOfFile. Error reading config file 'C:\Users\*myuser*\Desktop\OTRUVests\config.cpp' EDIT: I managed to get the code working but now it isn't showing in game. The code is below please let me know about changes and i will respond ASAP if I recieve one.

  16. Is it normal that if I use setMarkerAlphaLocal to hide a marker the marker gets visible again if the server executes setMarkerText and is there a way to keep the marker hidden even if the server change it's text?

Hello, so i have a Problem joining my Server if verifySignatures is set to 2. i get an error joining my Mission saying session lost, if i Change it to verifySignatures = 0; i can join without any Problem but the Problem is People can join with mods and hacks is there any way to fix this Problem ? We are a fairly laid back unit however we take ops more seriously, but we understand we're all here to enjoy the game and have a good halo/arma experience.   24. Task Force Green is modeled after an assault troop within the elite special mission unit of the US Army, Delta Force. Our focus is to create the most authentic in-game experience possible while maintaining a high degree of entertainment for our members. Outside of Arma we are a welcoming and relaxed group of friends who leaves the "realism" for in-game only.
