  1. How does one use the MissionEventHandler "BuildingChanged"? I'm currently trying to make it so that when a building is damaged (and changes into its partly damaged form) a trigger is activated and props inside the building are deleted. Unfortunately, I'm having real trouble getting the script to work. Please help!
  2. Dobrý den, rád bych se zeptal/ požádal o pomoc s problémem. Nefunguje mi vnitřní pohled z tanku Angara. Pokaždé když jsem v tanku displeje hlásí že kamera nefunguje, po přiblížení(pravé tlačítko myši) najednou displej funguje ale vidím jen pohled přes displej, jako před přidáním interiérů tanků. Je jedno na které pozici v tanku sedím, všechny kamery hlásí stejný problém. Zkoušel jsem celou Armu přeinstalovat i opravit na Steamu. Nic nepomáhá, můžete mi prosím někdo poradit co s tím mám dělat? Hello, I would like to ask / ask for help with the problem. I don't see the Angara tank inside view. Every time I am in the display tank reporting that the camera is not working, after zooming (right mouse button) suddenly the display works but I only see the view through the display, as before adding the interiors of tanks. No matter which position I sit in the tank, all cameras report the same problem. I tried to reinstall the Arma 3 and fix on Steam. Nothing helps, can someone help me please, what to do about it?

  4. I am currently trying to make it so that when a hold action is preformed on a crate, it will put the crate in the back of a non specific Zamak Truck. Currently, it will put the crate in the nearest Zamak Truck (destroyed or alive). I need it to only pick the closest alive Zamak Truck. I've tried loads of different methods, but I'm now quite stuck. Please help! This is my script so far, all working fine.   5. Okay so I have broken a script while trying to change the mod dependencies because I opened it in in notepad and I did not unbinarize it first. The good thing is I made a backup of the file but the backup is a txt document. How do I fix this? I have downloaded arma tools and I have some of mikero's tools such as derap but I don't know what i'm doing from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated! When I try to load mission I am receiving a message that says mission.sqm, line 0: '.raP': " encountered instead of '='

I did install the PBO in a different directory other than the default, as i was keeping all of my files relating to modding Arma in one folder. it is currently within C:\Users\WolfoftheWest\Desktop\Arma Modding\PBO Manager

  15. Greetings dear Arma 3 community! I'm looking for a good CPU for Arma 3 and I was thinking about getting the i5 7500... *****! My money won't allow me to buy that expensive CPU. Very very sad... So, maybe I'll just need to buy a cheaper one, maybe a very good i3? :) What do you think? i3 7100, i3 7300 or is it going to be i5 7400 if I can steal some money from the K-Market (just a joke) ?   17. Stupid question, but I cannot get the compass key working, with or without a controller. I tried with the Steam controller, then loaded Arma without it, and tried keyboard-only, but here's what happens: In the Bootcamp sequence, when the instructor wants me to look at the compass for the first time, the K key does nothing (I thought). I faked it, knowing the general directions. But next, when I'm asked to run to different positions, when I hit the up-arrow to head to the first point, I'm just walking. But when I hit the left-shift key to sprint, the compass comes up. At this point, I can open and close the compass with the K key (while sprinting). But I cannot get the compass to appear just using the K key while walking or standing still. Any help? -= Gary =-

The Wrecking Crew The Wrecking Crew is a realism group that prides itself in its dedication to realistic and enjoyable game play, without the rigid aspects like permanent ranks and having to shout "Yes, sir" at a 14 year old. While we play mostly as British Forces to make coherent training possible, we have a whole host of players who come from all over the world, some as far out as Malaysia and South Africa. You select the role you'd like each week for our editor-driven operations, as long as you are competent and prove yourself by passing the required training sessions for that role, with some not requiring any. It runs different dynamic game modes made entirely in-house with a more relaxed game play than in our operations, but it will still give you a good insight in the community and play style. About our Operations Alongside a public server that runs 24/7, the biggest event our group hosts are weekly 'Operations' with between 20 to 40 people. Our operations span over a century of warfare, with a monthly rotation of World War 2, Cold War, Turn of the Millennium and Modern Operations. This means that in one month you can liberate a French town from Nazi occupation, halt a Soviet mechanised assault in the plains of Northern Germany, brawl with Iraqi armour in the deserts of Kuwait and patrol through the hills of Afghanistan, searching for insurgents. In these operations any recruit or member can play any role as long as he has received the corresponding training. In our operations we strive for maximum realism. We find real-life solutions for problems that we may face in game, while omitting more tedious parts of military duty like saluting, hour-long marches and range etiquette. We aim for the most immersive experience possible by having minimal HUD, first person only, a single life and using ACRE 2 for communications.   21. I have figured out how to get Arma 3 to work with Proton and have full mod support. After downloading Arma 3 using Steam play Proton, go to your Arma 3 directory, and rename the “arma3launcher.exe” to anything. Then rename your “arma3_x64.exe” or “arma3.exe” to “arma3launcher.exe”. After that you can just launch the game through Steam, but if you have audio issues you need to use “WINEPREFIX=/path/to/steam/steamapps/compatdata/107410/pfx winecfg”. Go to libraries, add “xaudio2_6” and “xaudio2_7” setting both to “native,builtin”. Finally if you want to use any mods that use .dlls you need to source a imagehlp.dll from a windows installation, and drop it in your “/path/to/steam/steamapps/compaydata/107410/pfx/drive_c/windows/system32” directory. Then use winecfg and set "imagehlp" to "native". That will let arma load mods that use .dlls properly. Suggested tools for a better experience Proton Wine Manager Arma3-Proton-Launcher
