  1. Hello Script gods and Kings, My question is whether you can restrict a "apex-Holdaction" to a zone or triggers eg. If "Soldat A" runs into the trigger, he gets a "Holdaction" to read traces. The whole should be as a bit like the "BIS_fnc_initLeaflet" by BIS with pictures and text which are then shown, and of course easy to change eg. ["init", [triggerarea, "picture.paa", "text"]] call BIS_fnc_initLeaflet, The whole would then be in the multiplayer mode and should not be syncronized there, it is only as an indication for the players. and now the question: Can someone help me? ps: got "BIS_fnc_initLeaflet." already tried in bloodstains but apparently does not work.     Arma III APEX Gear List

    Hello there fellow Arma Player, since I could not find any complete gear list for the Apex DLC (in a List-ish style), I simply created my own. This is a List for all the equipable Gear (Weapons, Uniforms and so on) from the Apex DLC.   4. hello to all, I have doubts about the objects of tanoa. As far as I know, on May 30 bohemia has released the objects of tanoa to be used in your land. The problem I have that using the x-cam I can see and place the objects but when passing them to terrainbuilder these do not appear. I have seen that the files are not seen because they are in .ebo and it is necessary to pass them to .pbo some tutorial of how to do it? any other way of being able to enter those objects on my map? Sorry for my english
  5. Hello Every One Today I present two Projects And I Need Help With one of them. MASTER EFFECT FOR 64-Bit: Since Arma has been Updated To 64 Bit Executable Most of the Presets were outdate with only remaining were Real light etc I present to you Master Effect Reborn For Arma 3 64bit exe It includes and excludes from many other presets old and new It has a small amount of DOF too but not too much that it is difficult to see. Better Color saturation actually Colorfulness is more or less like Real Light V7 but not that bright which makes Rocks Glow. For this Master Effect I will provide you the settings you will need to achieve the beauty. Here some Screen Shots I know they don't look First class but Effects are great compared to vanilla game as Images were not able to capture light DoF. See The whole Gallery. HISTORICALLY INACCURATE CONFLICTS: HIC(Or HIA/Historically inaccurate armies) is More or less Adding new Factions To Arma 3 HIC takes Resources from Several Other mods such as NI Arms for Weapons and Multi National Pack/FoxFort for Uniforms these mods are Required As a dependency.   7. Download through steam workshop. *You will need the Apex DLC for this map* This Georgetown Cash Heist Mission is heavily inspired by the game PAYDAY 2. You will have two ways to finish the mission - stealth or loud. You will have to find your way to the warehouse and steal all the cash you see. Is there any way to alter the stock MP Game in Eden?. I am aware I will need to unpack the PDO , But where would I find it and where would it have to be saved to be able to access it with EDEN. Hope someone can assist. Would appreciate a response in as simple terms as possible as I am a but of a dummy. Thanks Sandstorm

    Controls Wont Save

    As the title says. My controls wont save. I'm not a fan of the layout of the ArmA 3 Apex controls. I've always used the default ArmA 3 controls. When I load up the game it sets me on Apex, so I switch it over to the other preset. And I click OK everytime. And I set up my keybinds. And I click ok. and I play. The next time I start the game up. It's back on Apex. And I have to redo the whole reset keybinds EVERY time. Help me the hell out. I reinstalled the game. I validated game cache. I made new profiles. Nothing. I'm the admin on my computer. My profile files keep reverting to "read only" After changing them. please help me.
  11. Hello since I have bought this game, it has crashed frequently, at least 3 to 4 times a day, while playing the apex missions and I was wondering if there are solutions to this problem?
  12. Players must quickly assault a Syndikat held town as they search for a stolen file that has troop movements for the area. Using the cover of night, silenced weapons, and night vision players will have to get the drop on the bandits, if they allow themselves to get bogged down the superior numbers will overwhelm them. Ambushes and roadside bombs are common tactics of Syndikat.   13. As the sitrep #00194 have stated. https://dev.arma3.com/post/sitrep-00194 Vegetation, structures and assets have been included for everyone. So there is no problem with joining on custom terrains that use apex objects for non apex owners players. This update includes the guerrilla uniforms?
  14. Greetings, I've purchased Apex a few days ago and ever since i installed the dlc everytime i start up arma 3 it just seems to freeze. The odd thing is when i tab out back to desktop and back in, the next menu screen will have loaded. When I try to enter the option menu the same thing occurs. I can move my mouse but the submenus won't get highlighted and clicking them only opens the menu when i minimize the game and maximize it again. Same goes for being on a server. I've got a frozen screen, can move my mouse and nothing happens. When i tab out of the game and back in I will have turned my character around. I've tried uninstalling all other mods and even redownloaded the game for a fresh install. Verifying it via steam shows no issues need fixing. I'm not running the development branch, though i've tried and it has the same issue. Anyone got any clue on what might be wrong? Prior to the Apex purchase Arma 3 worked like a charm. My specs: Win 10 Pro 64bit intel i5 2500k 16gigs ram amd radeon hd 7970 ghz best regards, Matjes

    Apex aircrafts upgrade

    After the jet DLC update Apex aircrafts (Blackfish, Xi'am) can be controlled with the new buttons in context menu. But why there is no way to set engine to 90° or 0° with just 1 button? And why this aircrafts have been upgraded with new engines, which are so hard to control, because >40 % power - youre going down and blowing up, < 50% - youre taking off faster than rocket. Just give us old control system for Blackfishes and Xi'ams, Bohemia! Please!
  16. Hi, i am a developer of a small arma life server. We have decided to switch to Malden when it comes up and we have started building the server in dev branch to prepare for launch. But we have encountered a problem in that alot of objects on Malden are Apex. Which means in our attempt to build simmilar structures already exist on Malden we have to put out apex object from the Eden editor which will make people who do not own Apex not able to join the server. Espcially annoying is it that most common wall on malden is apex locked which means we cant extend it or even repair broken bits of it with the editor. So my question is, when Malden is released will you be able to play on it even if you dont own apex and we place apex objects and if not are you planning the change that any time soon? Sorry for my broken English.

Hi Guys, After looking at some of the brilliant inspiration on youtube and steam by Nikoleav and Xcino, (and an awesome rig by Luger from last year) I decided my original rig just didn't cut it. This one is complete from vanilla and apex assets, meaning it will work with almost any community. It is >4x larger than my previous rig and puts it on a similar scale to Xcino's V2. Features include: The structure can be accessed from any one of the 4 struts and gives unique bottlenecks at each one. Multiple office structures and pump areas plus service pipelines to new locations. HUGE level of verticality with multiple 'decks' and sight lines. A secret location for SF ops. A full size helipad and lighting for even the largest of transports. A sensible amount of lighting to assist immersive night ops, (turn dynamic lights up to ULTRA) AND FINALLY, I have added 4 changable respawn points that place players onto the four struts. Good for PVP or curated/role play elements. Obviously AI will struggle to navigate the thing, but the pathing isn't the worst. Use it / alter it as you see fit but let me know of you make any videos, please credit me if you want to re-release it in something else.   21. This is a new version of the terrain with APEX vegetation and modified ground textures. You should not run the older version and this one at the same time as they share some configuration parameters. I had to use proxies during terrain creation and as a result some objects might be misplaced (on roads, coliding with buildings or too high/low) it's difficult to do better until BIS releases the ressources for terrain building. The map is 15 x 15 km of dense jungle with many major and smaller rivers.   22. OVERVIEW FORECON is a North American-based milsim unit modeled after Marine Force Reconnaissance. The unit operates on Pacific Standard Time, but we have members all over North America. The mission of FORECON is to provide the MAGTF (Marine Air-Ground Task Force) with military intelligence. FORECON conducts Green Operations (deep reconnaissance) to gather intelligence, and Black Operations (direct action) to conduct offensive strikes, often with aid of MAGTF resources. Our unit consists of the following elements: Reconnaissance Platoon Rotary Detachment TECOM Element TECOM (Training & Education Command) members will often times play the role of a High-Value Target, VIP, or OPFOR during operations. This Element is ideal for those who prefer a variety of roles and equipment with a unit experience.   23. The default ArmA 3 revive system used to work fine for me a few patches ago and I decided to go back to it, but for some reason I'm not getting incapacitated when I get gunned down. When I check the player units' attributes box, the "enable revive" checkbox is greyed out. Hello everyone, being thinking at the new 64 bit support of the game being worked on and jet DLC and all of the other stuff and what i have to say is: wow great can't wait! but: talking about Apex expansion being released since July 2016 (7 months ago) i have the impression of sitting in front of an unfinished job. We've paid for the expansion, which is not a common DLC but an expansion and i have the feeling that NATO is a little bit "left behind". I mean the tan camo for vehicles in a pacific jungle environment is somewhat ridicolous and i was asking to myself: will BIS ever make those vehicle in proper camo pattern? ATM the expansion seems to be CSAT focused, but i believe talking about an expansion which is not only a Faction DLC but an expansion, all of the NATO vehicle must have proper camo pattern. Talking about an expansion i would recall Operation Arrowhead quality design and content additions and upgrades (proper camos, proper units exc.). Now, why Apex has basically a totally reworked (very well) faction, (i mean CSAT), new faction syndikat which is great, CTRG which is great, but it is a marginal faction for mission making because they basically are special forces and nothing more and Gendarmerie which is another marginal faction, but not a total "conversion" of the NATO faction which is a major faction expecially talking about mission making? Talking about DLCs: I have to say that we're talking about paid additional content, i want to support BIS as i want new stuff as well, so i bought all of them, but for an example if i want to make a Ground Support mission on the Expansion's map (which is an aweeesssome map), of Tanoa i will not have Tropic pattern soldiers, because i can't choose the NATO pacific or CSAT pacific factions in the modules and the same goes for Sites modules and some weapons of the marksman DLC do not have tropic pattern and not all of them has at least khaki color. So my questions are: Will all of this left behind job ever be worked on or is it abandoned in the shelf of the office? Will we get the same great support that we saw time ago about other armaverse expansions? Are there any official statement about these matters around? because i can't find them. thanks in advance. Personal statement: I love to make missions and scripts but sadly i don't love being forced to install mods for fixing left behind job and forcing my community to download such mods.
  25. Hello! I cooked up a simple little config mod that reduces haze on all of the vanilla, apex and CUP maps. This is more of a personal tweak as the default settings made me feel like there is a constant fog hanging in front of me. I only reduced the haze as removing it completely made the terrains look bad. The fog still works fine, the shorter view distances also look fine. The only known issue is the fact the sky gradient looks a bit off. By default only Stratis, Altis and VR are enabled. You can enable the reduced haze for other maps by moving/copying pbos from the "optional" folder. For interested, I changed "hazeBaseBeta0" setting in CfgWorlds for each of the maps.
