  1. Description: "Free a kidnapped ANN reporter from the hands of the Syndikat." This is a 1-day mission, which I made... today. Really wanted to finish something new again, and with the recent Apex stuff I got inspired enough to get this mission done. It's a simple search & rescue mission on Tanoa. Naturally, dev-branch or latest Apex rc-branch is required for playing. Turns out, it's actually quite stressful to make a mission in only one day, but it sets a few interesting limitations which one has to workaround somehow (hope this mission doesn't feel too cheesy). The original idea of this mission was much bigger and with a few more side tasks, but yeah... not enough time if you have to get it done as quickly as possible. :) Anyway, have fun & stuff.   3. It would be nice to be able to tell if a door is openable or not without having to run up to it to check. Maybe have unopenable doors have a metal security gate, a screen door, or just be barred up with wood. I understand the buildings have been made to look more aesthetically pleasing for the life crowd, but it is annoying trying to open a door only to find it's locked and impervious to bullets and explosives (or a good kick).
  4. Beta-testers and cannon fodder are needed for a new Team vs.Team Sector Control scenario that is currently being developed for APEX Tanoa! Currently, we are stable with 5 Island Sectors, but wish to expand this to 7, 9, and 11 Sectors provided we have enough players to test the flow and ebb of the gameplay.   9. I am currently on the preview branch editing on Tanoa. I have a very simple mission with just this in the description.ext: respawn = 3; respawnDelay = 10; respawnTemplates[] = {"Revive", "MenuPosition"}; respawnOnStart = -1; Every time a unit is wounded it comes with up ""Revive" not found" or "Unable to find "Revive", something along those lines. Just wondering if anyone is having this issue on the normal branch or if its because I'm on the preview branch.

I'm currently on the apex preview branch and have a very simple mission which simply has: respawn = 3; respawnDelay = 10; respawnTemplates[] = {"Revive", "MenuPosition"}; respawnOnStart = -1; but every time a unit gets wounded it pops up with "Revive not found" or unable to find "Revive", something along those lines. Just wondering if anyone has that issue in the current version, or whether it's because I'm on the preview branch.

    Need help with Zeus Items

    I have a quick question about items for the new Apex expansion. My question is, If I make say, a custom bunker in Zeus on Tanoa, save it, and then try and load that into a mission on altis, will players who don't have the Apex expansion be able to see and use these items?

    Arma 3 Apex - content predictions?

    I'm starting this thread to discuss possible content for Arma 3 Apex. Anyone have predictions? Here's mine: To start off, factions. I personally think we'll be seeing USMC forces [BLUFOR] along with Chinese forces [OPFOR], and possibly Australian/CTRG forces [BLUFOR]. Of course, we'll likely see Tanoa's military [Independent] and a guerrilla faction [OPFOR]. Now for vehicles and weapons. It's confirmed that we'll be seeing Light Strike Vehicles and VTOLs, and possibly larger Patrol boats. Here's a list of what I'm assuming will be added: United States Marine Corps: APX - Pistol MP7 - Sub Machine Gun HK416 - Assault Rifle M27 IAR - Light Machine Gun HK417 - Sniper Rifle SMAW - Rocket Launcher ALSV - Light Strike Vehicle Cougar - Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected EFV - Infantry Fighting Vehicle M551 Sheridan - Light Tank M1A3 Abrams - Main Battle Tank UH-1Y Venom - Transport Helicopter AH-1Z Viper - Attack Helicopter V-22 Osprey - VTOL Helicopter F-35B Lightning - VTOL Fighter CB90 AMOS - Patrol Boat USMC forces would have a wide variety of modern-futuristic gear, with some assets possibly being futurized. The Sheridan obviously being modernized. As the title says, I have always been getting this recurring thought: It seems very likely that the Devs will be making a continuation of the story, as like before in ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead. Usually, with every official map comes an epic saga. ;) What do you guys think? Is the Arma community geared up for another continuation of the campaign?
