  1. Download through steam workshop. *You will need the Apex DLC for this map* This Georgetown Cash Heist Mission is heavily inspired by the game PAYDAY 2. You will have two ways to finish the mission - stealth or loud. You will have to find your way to the warehouse and steal all the cash you see.   2. Good day, Great forum and hoping someone can help, I sometime play the Escape game mode for Tanoa / Malden with friends and we use the standard game mode that comes up when I host a session. Is there any way to alter the stock MP Game in Eden?. I am aware I will need to unpack the PDO , But where would I find it and where would it have to be saved to be able to access it with EDEN. Hope someone can assist. Would appreciate a response in as simple terms as possible as I am a but of a dummy. Thanks Sandstorm

  5. As the sitrep #00194 have stated. https://dev.arma3.com/post/sitrep-00194 Vegetation, structures and assets have been included for everyone. So there is no problem with joining on custom terrains that use apex objects for non apex owners players. This update includes the guerrilla uniforms?

I have been trying to find the command script for the missions tanoa escape, maldon escape and combat patrol for both maps so we can set our server to have a consistent map rotation of the 4 missions I can find all the other map and missions in the lists but nothing for the tanoa and maldon maps so if someone has this similar rotation running on their server can you please share the Config file name or even the script would even be better as GTX gaming has no clue as to how to get or find the map and mission names and the ones i have found don't work properly thanks in advance for any and all help

I am looking for someone with experience to help set up our server I have past experience but am having a problem with setting up our server hosted by GTXgameservers with getting the main map to stay on a rotation of Tanoa and Malden escape. and Tanoa & Malden combat patrols. i have tried a cpl times to edit the missions text but and try to find the correct paths. but as far as i have gotten is to fix the Malden hang up after a failed mission and can not get any of the missions for Tanoa combat patrol and escape. if someone could help or point me in the correct direction it would be greatly appreciated as I am seriously stuck.
  8. All, I keep seeing my tanoa assets encrypted, but it looks like there are terrains using trees and textures from Tanoa. ...Am I missing something?

    Make Tanoa Publicly Available!

    There is a very large issue with the Apex DLC. I agree with all the weapons/vehicles being restricted...though the map is causing a huge issue in the community. The general mass doesn't own Apex. The content creators/players that would like to enjoy playing with the public are restricted to a small crowd. The number of people that try to play King of the Hill on Tanoa and are turned away is staggering. Its now nearly constantly dead because no one wants to play low population KotH. Wasteland on Tanoa is generally dead also for the same reason. I'm working on a Helicopter Training program that will take place on Tanoa....Though once again population will be limited because of the Apex requirement. I really hope BI figures out they divided their community by making this map require a DLC and made those who buy it suffer and those who don't buy it...turned away.

  11. Greetings I made high resolution Tanoa map for ArmA comunity usage. A final bitmap have resolution 15604x15605 pixels and one pixel represent 0.9843 meters. The final bitmap has been stitched from 250 screenshots. To open the bitmap i recommend use special software which can handle huge images like GIMP or Photoshop.   12. I've been playing on tanoa a lot lately and am wondering if there is a way to load tanoa on launch. The only options I see are altis, stratis, virtual, and empty. Really wish there was an option for it in the launcher.

Sentinel - Outbreak - Part II Description: This is a sandbox style mission where the player must escape from an island where there's been an outbreak of a highly contagious rage-inducing virus, which turns those who have been infected into blood-thirsty, violent psychotics. The mission begins shortly after the Altis edition left off. Our protagonist (the player) was sold out by the AAF officer shortly after making it to the Altis safe zone and instead of being sent back home, he and several others were handed over to a mysterious group of scientists dressed in white coveralls with red insignias on their shoulders. After being taken captive, the player and everyone else who'd come into contact with the infected were then transported to Tanoa. Shortly after arriving at their research facility, the protagonist managed to escape; and thanks to a friendly local Tanoan named Akamu, was able to hide in a small underground bunker deep in the jungle. Unfortunately Akamu is long overdue to return and supplies are running low, so once again the player must venture forth from their temporary abode and will need to make use of whatever weapons and equipment they find scattered around in buildings, vehicles and dead bodies in order to survive long enough to find a means of escaping the island of Tanoa. Trying to stay alive is made even more challenging as the player will have to either evade or kill the infected which have now made an appearance on Tanoa; as well as the scattered groups of bandits that are taking advantage of the lack of law and order. Thankfully the player isn't completely alone however, as there are still a handful of survivors out there, including some that may be more than happy to join you in their fight for survival. There are also reports that a private military company has established a base of operations in the region and are evacuating survivors. What are the intentions of this new force, are they really here to help, or will they turn out to be just as treacherous as the AAF? This is the continuation of the previous Sentinel - Outbreak storyline, which ties in some of the characters and events from the previous Outbreak scenarios (Esseker, Altis and Chernarus) and brings it all to a conclusion. Features: 15 Random starting locations and random loot that spawns in almost all the buildings mean that you'll have a different experience each time you play. 5 Different ways to escape the island, including an optional mission at the safe zone that will have the player leading a small team on an important assignment that can change the overall outcome of the story. Random Bandits and even armed civilians that are friendly to the player that spawn at certain locations and with random gear. Simple text based narration courtesy of IndeedPete's conversation system. The option to ask some of the random survivors you encounter to join your team, helping you fight against bandits and the infected. Be warned, not all of them will accept. There is also an option to skip some of the lengthy story related dialogue with certain characters at the safe zone, all you need to do is select the (Quickstart) dialogue option using the action menu when speaking to the respective characters. Vehicles that have a random chance of spawning at certain locations, each with varying degrees of fuel remaining and damage done. Hordes of infected that will pursue you relentlessly for as long as they can see/sense you, with more spawning closer to villages and cities. The infected can cripple/kill the player with several hits, and will damage and eventually destroy the player's vehicle if they managed to swarm around it and keep pounding it with their fists and rocks. Custom sounds and textures for a richer experience. Created to be vanilla Arma 3 (APEX) friendly, no 3rd party mods or addons required. Haleks - Ravage Mod (Ravage Edition) Known Issues & Future Plans: There's a few buildings in the map that the infected still struggle to navigate properly, although this is more of an issue with Arma 3's poor AI than mission design. In very rare instances one or two of the infected sometimes spawn without ambient sound effects, making them particularly dangerous if you're not paying attention. On some occasions when reverting to a previous save, or continuing an older game, the scripts and conversation system may take a few minutes to catch up again. This is due to the large size of the map and sheer amount of scripts in use and can't be helped. When building a campfire they will appear at the same altitude above ground level as the player's feet; which means that even though you can build them inside a house or on the top floor of an office building, if you're standing too close to the edge of a building or rock formation the campfire may end up floating in mid-air over the side. There have been reports that the MCC and NSS Admin Console mods used to see units on the map and teleport in single player will break the infected spawning and random loot scripts. Be advised that Mods which aren't listed in the requirements section are not supported and you use them at your own risk. This mission is set on Tanoa and uses the same scripting as the Altis edition, so you'll need a fairly decent PC to run this at an acceptable frame rate. I have a beast of a machine and all my missions on Tanoa seem to average about 20-30 FPS when I put my settings to the max (I get double those FPS playing on Altis). DO NOT play this mission if you've got less than 3-6GB of system ram and a GPU with less than 2GB, otherwise your FPS will drop through the floor and you'll get graphical glitches and artifacts. Hi all, I have big issue on Tanoa and hope that someone finds a workarround for this: It seems that with the current version (1.66) it's not possible to let AI drive (e.g. in jeeps) on wooden bridges. They stop on the bridge and/or fall from it and cannot handle the path finding. This has been reported many times in the feedback tracker but no answer or reactions from developer. Actually this issue means that it's nearly impossible to have jeep/car patrols on tanoa because there are wooden bridges every few 100 meters :-) So, my question to the community: Does someone has a solution or a workarround for this?     Arma 3 Concealment on Tanoa

    Here is my latest video on concealment - What do you guys think about concealment? Is it a practical knowledge to apply? What do you all think about Bohemia's latest Tanoa ghillie? Personally I really like it. I do think Bohemia should release rifle skins that are shaded better than the current ones.
  19. Alrighty. So I've got a server that mostly unused right now and I decided that I might as well do something with it. The plan is to put an Invade and Annex scenario up on it with the good mods like RHS: Escalation and TFAR, since I had a hard time finding a server with those running on it. I know I'm not the only person who likes I&A and those mods, so why not combine them? Only problem is the map...I know not everyone has Tanoa but its such a great map and I really want to do it. Poll results will tell me the answer I guess.

I'm able to do it in VR, but even on an empty Tanoa map I can't get a full capture, and, to get the error to go away I have to add ]]] to make it stop, but then when I call it from a trigger it still wont work.. In VR I just raised it and landed and the line of script is longer than flying to the volcano from the main base. Anyone else having this issue ? I'm scratching my head and frustrated after a couple hours with no results what-so-ever. Thank you for any feedback..

  25. Overview: My first real mission has just come out of beta testing by a few friends, and is now available on the Steam workshop! I have put down a lot of effort into making it a high-quality mission, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. The mission is designed to give the player a wide range of challenges, and careful consideration has gone into the setting and progression through the mission. The mission is also designed with replayability in mind, and there are several different ways to accomplish your objectives. Please let me know what you think! In this mission, you will assassinate the Tanoan governor and get away with it! You play as an operative of the Mireles cartel, tasked with taking out the popular and bothersome governor of Tanoa all by himself. This will not be easy, however, as the governor has a highly trained police escort. Getting away with murder on a small island crawling with police will not be easy either... Prepare. Kill. Escape. New! - The police will now employ a sophisticated response to your actions. The AI units will call in additional patrols to areas they believe you to be, based on when and where you were last spotted, and fluidly update these positions whenever their information is updated with new sightings. The dynamic response includes deploying responder units by car or helicopter from various police stations to an area near you, and also emulates radio communication between officers.
