Erwan Mayers posted a topic in ARMA 3 - USER MISSIONSHi everyone, i share a mission that still needs a little work and polishing but it's fully playable i think: story: 2027 The migrant crisis just worsen due to the African politics of many european nations which established dictators in many african countries to insure access to raw materials. Having been reelected in 2022, the french president Micron and his prime minister Dardenain call for a summit about the construction of a wall on the south side of the Mediteranea and the display of "defensive" drones to, as they put it, protect Europe from Isis threat. Nato and Europe have totally accepted all the requisites of Morocco and Turkey to stop the migrants. Meanwhile many accidents occured in the mediterranean sea and a few independant news broadcast questioned the use of Force by Nato and the resulting deaths among migrants. Nato, fearing to face criticism hypocraticaly made a contract with some private armies to deal in their place with the migrants trying to cross the mediterranean sea. Such a private contractor is based on Stratis Island and headed by a french officer. At the same time, a new european law pushed by the pharmatical lobby ensures that all unindentified bodies on the european territory can serve for "any" medical experiments. A new legitimate business is born. Nothing spectacular, a coop mission for up to 4 players. story: A coalition including Russia just invaded Agia Marina surprising the blufor military presence. A Russian satellite made pictures of a blufor convoy moving to reinforce a position west of the stratis Air station. A team of four russian soldiers from the special forces are ordered to stop this convoy thanks to a blufor captured hummingbird: 1 Fly to the Air station and kill all blufor soldiers there 2 Plant bombs on the road nearby and destroy part of the convoy (the two tanks and the fuel truck) 3 Escape and extract by a waiting chopper north-east of the Air station. credits: BangaBob, JohnnyBoy, Genesis92x, Moerderhoschi, Feuerex, RueLight, White Raven, Pumpkin (jackfrench) and all persons who i forget sharing their time and passion Thanks to Flav for the music he made. I'm just a new mission maker who worked really hard on this mission and it's the first one that I finally finished. The link to it is here, it'd mean a lot to me if you guys gave it a spin and left some feedback. The mission follows Private Ewan Nichols in a story that runs parallel to the events of the Survive campaign, as he fights for his life on the AAF-controlled island of Stratis. I hopefully want to continue this story so let me know what you think.

High quality maps for Altis and Stratis

Point is, there is asset in this project that i want to share even thought the whole project is not done. This asset is hiqh quality map of Altis and Stratis. I dont know if someone will find this usefull, but i hope so. Maps were made from inside game by making screenshots, I suppose it is not against EULA. I will remove download links if it is against EULA. Both maps have following parameters: - Resolution is 32768x32768 pixels (higher is not possible for JPG coz I wanted to keep resolution as power of 2) - Both satelite and height map variants available - No watermarks Also, both maps were cut to tiles, so it can be used in tile map engines. Janez posted a topic in ARMA 3 - USER MISSIONSDisturb current version: 1.0.1 Description Stratis is under complete AAF lockdown and while politicians discuss how to spin the story to justify yet another "intervention", an alternative is appointed for the time being. You are to take the role of some generic, ex-spec op, PMC goon and clean up the situation. Or if you prefer some sort of illusion, a glorious commando has been dispatched to aid oppressed people of Altis in liberating their land and spreading democracy. F*ck yeah. No significant support is available since this is a black op after all. However, you did go through various vigorous training programs, so amongst other things, you can treat wounds and fix vehicles if you acquire a Medikit or a Toolkit respectively. Besides, AAF can't shoot straight when *insert your favorite trashing line* anyway. Look, it's AI so what do you expect but if they do go all T-800, you can always lower the difficulty. Save scumming is also recommended to waste the least amount of time possible. Notes / Features - Singleplayer mission over whole map of Stratis. - Opposite of dynamic. This mission is totally... static? Every unit, vehicle, loot or prop has been hand placed. Well clicked on... you know what I mean. - DLC assets are used if you own any but no DLC is required (at least I don't think so but let me know if you encounter problems). - Briefing, description, tasks, all that jazz. - Autosaves on completed objectives. - Dynamic Simulation used and limited by view distance. I did my best to avoid awkward situations. Recommended Mods / Addons - @R3vo's Quick- & Autosave - @vbawol's Enhanced Arma 3 Inventory Installation - Extract the .pbo file using your favorite archive manager. - Copy the .pbo file into "Arma 3 root directory\Missions". Putting Altis & Stratis on the same terrain grid.

When looking on Armed Assault Wiki, I ran across a map depicting Altis & Stratis on the same terrain grid. The grid is in the limits on the Terrain Build structure that you can insert both terrains within a 42 x 42 mile grid (Grid size: 8192 x 8192, Cell size (m): 7.000, Terrain size (m): 57344.000). My question is has anyone done this as of yet? If not, why not? If not, how would I go about doing it so I can put it on Steam for all to share. The plan is to put an Invade and Annex scenario up on it with the good mods like RHS: Escalation and TFAR, since I had a hard time finding a server with those running on it. I know I'm not the only person who likes I&A and those mods, so why not combine them? Only problem is the map...I know not everyone has Tanoa but its such a great map and I really want to do it. Poll results will tell me the answer I guess.

[MP] [PvP] Battle of Girna - 10 Players
alfrink posted a topic in ARMA 3 - USER MISSIONSHey there! In the last couple of months/weeks, I started to became more and more interested in the content-creation part of ArmA 3. I wanted to share the results, but wasn't able to achieve a really high amount of subs yet. This leads to little to no feedback at all. That's why I present my scenario in this topic. It's a 10 players PvP map settled around the village of Girna on Stratis. A team wins if it reaches the enemy flag and holds it down for 10 seconds. It features mainly close and medium ranged engagements on a pretty small map. While most of the engagements will be infantry vs infantry, it also features a small amount of vehicles in the team spawns and the middle of the map alike. Both teams have a variety of weapons and attachments to pick from, but limited amounts punish the wasting of ressources. Other objectives, like additional weapons or ammunition in the middle of the map, the ability to capture a mortar for fire support or an armed boat can be secondary targets to get an advantage over your enemy. The main difference between this and most other missions is the decent performance of this map, caused by the scale and the overall heaviness of the scripts. I always had the feeling that this game kind of lacks maps you could just "play with a few friends", without having to deal with FPS-problems, though I'm not quite sure if this even fits into what ArmA-players want to do with this game http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=476370115 If more people are interested, I'm thinking about renting a server and putting this map on it, just to see how it works out.
