  1. Hello, I noticed something strange when I load up my mission on a multiplayer server. I have changed the "skillAI" and "precisionAI" values in the .Arma3Profile file on the server that I am using, but when I double click on a soldier in the Zeus view, I still see that the soldier's skill level is at the default 50%. Are the custom values being applied and just not showing or is there an error somewhere? Hi there I have had a Linux dedicated arma3 server running fine for a while, these last days an issue appeared from no where: I use the 1.82 version, so I can connect to it with the Linux native client, With BE enabled. Now, I cannot connect anymore: Error message: DLCs mismatch.   4. I want to note that whilst I have fixed the issue I'm curious to know what caused the fault and to help anyone else who'd experiencing the problem and looking for solutions. A bit of background information: I've been hosting my own dedicated server for a while and because of the 'integer flow' issues with Fast2 I reverted to TADST as my go-to server tool. The server is hosted locally on my home network. Inexplicably I started to get Battleye query timeout errors on my server despite having made no changes nor had there been an update to ArmA (AFAIK). The first time I just re-installed the server which fixed the issue. However after two weeks or so the issue returned and it took me a while to troubleshoot: 1) created new server profile 2) reinstalled ArmA server 3) disabled firewall 4) double checked ports are open on router 5) rebooted router 6) attempted this Battleye fix: on my client machine I deleted arma3battleye.exe and battleye folder from ArmA folder (Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Arma3), deleted Battleye files from Common Files (Program Files (x86) -> Common Files -> BattlEye) and deleted Battleye folder and missions from MPMissionscache in localappdata then verified game cache on Steam. 7) disabled all 34 mods 8)enabled UPnP on TADST but this only worked for one session RPT file here Because I had heard of the Faster tool (rebuiild of Fast1) through using Fast2, I decided to give it a go as I had eliminated every other cause besides the tool. After I had ported over my KP Liberations saves, lo and behold it worked without issue. I know with troubleshooting it's a process of elimination by being methodical and going step-by-step. But if in my situation and switching server tool to Faster or another that works (not aware of any) then it'll save you trying all the other fixes. TADST is an old and otherwise good tool but it was last updated in 2017. Perhaps that's the issue? Although people still use it without this issue AFAIK. Either way if anyone is able to shed light on the cause then I'd appreciate it! Thanks, M2I

Hello We are currently developing an Sandbox Arma 3 Server. i want to make a Sniping spot where you can Snipe some AI´s the AI´s are set to: this disableai "ALL"; i got a simple Respawn script from a another forum post. which looks like this: the Problem is that when the ai Respawns the init isn´t there anymore so they run around and shoot at the players how can i fix that? thanks for you´re help Marvin Admin at German-Gamers.net
  6. so i want the day night cycle on my server disabled because having a night on a Sandbox Server is stupid and bad! i searched for a while and the only thing i found was people complaining about Servers disabling the cylce but HOW how can i disable the whole time cycle that it´s always like 1 pm on the Server? Hello, we are currently developing a Arma 3 sandbox server where you can basically do anything, the problem is, that the vehicles only respawn when they are destroyed, when someone takes a plane and lands it somewhere like molos airfield it will remain there until someone picks it up. I want that the vehilces respawn when thy are left alone but the built in feature doesn´t work at all, so my idea was to trigger the respawn like every 60 seconds that all vehicles respawn but how can i trigger every 60 seconds for ever ?!? thanks for your help Marvin Letsche Admin at German-Gamers.net

  10. I've been trying my best to get a script to work which allows a server to detect players within a specific vehicle. Here are the versions I've tested. They do not work on a dedicated server though. 1: {_x in object} count (playableUnits) == {alive _x} count (playableUnits); 2: _allPlayers = call BIS_fnc_listPlayers; {_x in object} count (_allPlayers) == {alive _x} count (_allPlayers); 3: {_x in object} count (allPlayers) == {alive _x} count (allPlayers); 4: ( {alive _x && !(_x in object)} count allPlayers ) == 0 I'm terrible at scripting but I try my best to understand. If you have a fix that is great, though I'd love to know how I messed up and how to improve for the future. :)

With the Apex coop campaign you only have to enter the missions in the server.cfg.   12. I just setup my server and everything works properly but after 2-3 mins i get kicked for the reasons in title. Since this only appears on my own server i thought someone with more knowhow could help me. I turned of my norton security ultra and added exceptions but nothing, i added the arma ports to my router but also nothing. I deleted several BE folders, reinstalled BE and arma but all i tried without any success. I do not play with any mods or DLC content, only official CP coop 12 maps. EDIT FIX: Norton security ultra blocked it, even with exceptions and i tried to turn it off completely but it worked after i deinstalled and added the exceptions to windows defender (do not forget to open your ports!!!).
  13. So i just setup my first Arma 3 server for combat patrol. I only wanna play combat patrol with official missions on it, i managed to setup the map rotation but i wish to change the mission parameters (like objective or daytime) but i don’t know how since i only play official maps. It works ingame as an admin but I’d like to have the settings permanent. I know you have to create a file for edited/created maps and add the „class params“ lines in there but that won’t work in my case. Adding the lines to the .cfg does also not work. Is that even possible? If so please tell me how.
  14. I bought the new Creator DLC S.O.G Prairie Fire. I also rented an Arma 3 game server from Nitrado. How do I get the DLC on the server now? I saw there is a folder named "vn" in which the DLC is stored. Do I just have to load it onto the server and can then just start playing? Mods always have "@" in front of the name. This is then uploaded to the server and activated. How's that with SOG Prairie Fire?

  16. I have loaded CUP Terrains, CUP Vehicles and CUP Units on my Arma 3 server. But whenever I want to load the mods crash the server. The RAM consumption then breaks down from 2.5GB to 0.6 GB and the server is no longer to be found in the server browser. I once unloaded all my other mods and just loaded the CUP mods and it happens the same thing. But with my other mods, the server works. Only the CUP mods don't work. I did everything right. I put the mod folders in the /arma3 directory on the server and placed the keys from the keys folder of the mods in the keys folder on the server. But it doesn't work. why? Can someone help me? Because we need CUP on the server. I also want to load RHSUSAF on the server but I'm afraid that the same thing happened with CUP. Can who help me? If who needs the log files so he will tell me.   17. Hello. When I host a local ArmA 3 server via the server browser menu, my friends cannot join. I have set in my router that my PC can independently release all ports it needs and I have also released all ports separately for arma to be on the safe side (port: 2302 ...) but under which IP can the server be reached? I've tried sites like whatsmyip but my friends can't join at this address. I have an IPV6 address. I want to buy the new Vietnam Dlc when it is available and then play the co-op campaign and therefore I want to see how it works with the local servers.

Hi, So after new update, our server which is rent from GTX ran into issue where player will experiencing mass fps drop and screen freeze every 1 second which make the game unplayable and cap at 30fps. We was thinking this would because it was our map issue and dive into "simple object" mode, but we were wrong. No matter how hard we try to optimal the object in eden, the same problem still happen. here is also bunch of thing we have try Restart the server ( restart map not physical restart ) = some time it work, most time it don't! Roll back the server map to the last smooth run file = doesn't work RE-Update all the mod = doesn't work Digging thought RPT and eliminate all the object that might cause a unwanted loop = doesn't work Write a ticket to GTX = doesn't work (yet!) Start an empty map = doesn't work too load Stratis map = also doesn't fix anything ------ the fps drop however stop once we get in vehicle ( which have 10000 viewdistance) at this point we really have   22. #pissedoff I don't think I need to mention how annoying it is to spend hours getting from one end of the map to the other to get all your kit just be killed by a glitchy car and have to do it all over again. I love dayz, but once things like this have happened enough you start to get fed up. Which is why I stopped playing for ages. I finally started playing again a while ago. I went all out looking high and low for the kit I wanted. Couldn't find any ARs though. NONE on ANY SERVER. just rifles and every now and then an smg. Regardless I got myself together a half decent loadout, just for an update that comes with a complete wipe to be announced. Ofcourse I stopped playing until the update was released, which I'm pretty sure was late. So I give up. However, I decided to play your pointless game again last night. Of course I spawned in with a fresh character. Spent my gaming hours last night making my way up to the middle airfield I died once, but made it with my second character. Although I had no food or water by the time I got there (remember that). I did a quick sweep of the barracks at the top then logged off for the night, ready to come back on this afternoon, do a full sweep of the base then head up to the next one. I log on today, got a 75 second spawn in timer and a message warning me that because of a server change, my position might change, which of course, it did. Spawned in a field with no food or water, no doubt miles away from the base. I found a house not to far a way with a can of peaches in it. Luckily cuz I was about to start dehydrating. Not sure if that will be enough to get me to a town or not though. So my question is should I keep playing? This switching position thing is a blessing and a curse. It fixes some of the main issues like duplicating and spawning in people's base. But when you start punishing the legitimate players, is your game even worth playing anymore? Who knows how long it'll be before you wipe the servers again, that alone makes the game pretty pointless. It's a shame cuz I like this game but I really don't know if I want to play it again. I'm sat in that house where I found the peaches, debating whether or not to log back on and continue.
  23. I just got the game last night, tried to play it, and literally every one of the 4 game modes say”no suitable servers found”. So I gave up for the night and decided to try again today. To no surprise, the same thing happened. I figured I could convince a few friends to try it with me since the “host server” option was my only choice. I tried it, and once again, it’s unplayable because after I set up a game, they can’t join me via search OR direct connect. Wtf?

It is working as intended so far, when any unit gets in range to any enemy unit it will be reenabled via _x enableSimulation true; on all machines (server, hc1, hc2, hcX and so on), BUT in the enemy check all aircraft are somehow being ignored. They do not get their simulation reenabled other than on the client they are local to.   25. I'm using a TCAdmin panel to manage my server. I've installed my mod list, and have loaded up a modded mission. Took me long enough to get all that right. But now I have a slight issue. The "required mods" page lists no required mods. I can keep our mod list loaded and join it manually, but I'd like to make it so that it ells you what you are missing and forces you to sync up mods to join.
