We've been an active group for over two years now and we're looking at doing something for the community, something for groups similar to ourselves Our mission devs have created a number of team based PvP scenarios that we know you're going to enjoy. The plan as we see it is to gather a certain number of groups who want to test their metal in the field to participate in the first annual Viking PvP Tournament. The basic format will be as follows; squads will be pitched in knock out rounds until we have two squads left (final). They will fight it out on the battlefield for first place. We will host the event server and teamspeak server, so all you need to do is show up and play. The missions are 8v8 objective based PvP missions but of course if you can only field 7 men on the day then we'll make sure to match you with a squad of the same numbers. This is something we'll all discuss on the day before we kick off the event. We will also be streaming the event but you are of course free to stream it to your followers too. 7th of January 12:00 GMT noon start time See you there! P.S. - There will be no crazy sights or equipment here either. You will be armed with an AR and the basics. This event is to test your individual skill as players but more importantly how efficient you are as a fighting unit.

Think of it like a turn-based version of Counterstrike. There are two teams, SWAT and Terrorists. Each team takes turns moving and attacking. Each turn lasts for 7 seconds. The round ends once one of the teams is wiped out of the arena. The gamemode also features a shop where players can buy equipment. Players can earn money by killing enemies and by winning rounds. If a player is killed, they drop all of their money on the ground. At this point, any player can pick up the money. Players' gear persists between rounds, but resets upon death. The game requires at least one person on each team to start. In the future, I plan on adding random objectives such as bomb defusal and hostage rescue. I am still working on this mission and need testers and server hosts.

  4. Disclaimer: This gamemode was created for fun only. I've took an idea and some materials from Dead by Daylight (Behaviour Interactive), but not going to distribute it for money. You're free to play it on your own server. Want to edit it - ask for permission! Gamemode: Dead by Armalight - an ArmA III multiplayer mode, where 4 survivors try to escape from maniac, who wants to kill them. Survivors need to activate 4 generators (out of 5) by repairing them. They need to work in team to activate all of these. When generators are activated, access to the fuse boxes will be opened. Now begins the final part. They need to use these fuse boxes to open the gates (2 gates in different places) and escape from maniac. If they can't, after short period of time access to the secret hatch will be opened, but, only for one player. If survivors can't escape from maniac, then he'll exterminate them. His aim is to restrict access to the gates.     [PvP 03-16] Manhunt

    Manhunt An asymmetric PvP scenario perfect for small to mid sized groups. The players are split into two separate teams: NATO troops (up to 12 players) armed with light helicopters, vehicles and drones. Their task is to find and neutralise all CSAT operatives deployed onto Stratis. Playing as BLUFOR requires the whole team to cooperate and coordinate their search & chase efforts. CSAT (up to 4 players) who are lightly armed and dropped on Stratis with the goal of evading detection and collecting intelligence. CSAT players can choose their playstyle, whether they want to stick together, or operate as lone wolves. Game ends once all CSAT players are dead or they extract with required amount of intel. The gameplay switches between two phases - first a slow paced hunt, in which NATO troops are trying to cover as much ground as possible while CSAT is trying to move quickly, and at the same time avoid detection. Once they are found, however, the game turns into a frantic chase until the operatives have been eliminated, or until they have managed to blend back into the wilderness. Since this mission depends on NATO having enough players the following team splits are recommended: 2-4 NATO, 1 CSAT 4-6 NATO, 2 CSAT 6-8 NATO, 3 CSAT 8-12 NATO, 4 CSAT Also, this is a heavily stealth based mission, it is best to disable 3rd person entirely!   9. Greetings from the Zeus Community. I was wondering if I could arrange a night whereby the Zeus Community and another community would engage in a realistic PvP/TvT/A&D (or however you want to call it!) on a large scale (around 100 man). Even if you are not in a community it will be open to anyone who enjoys playing in a structured and organised way. We are a casual milsim group focused on teamplay, tactics and realistic objectives. We have our non-addon game nights on Thursdays and Sundays, while our addon game nights occur on Wednesdays and Saturdays. However, we have many players active on the other days as well. We reckon we could muster about 30-50 people if this was to be organised. If we were to arrange a TvT, I would suggest: We would have to find common ground with which to play with. For example, we use a range of CUP terrains and RHS units. I'm guessing at the very minimum we could both have task force radio and CBA. The mission involved would be realistic and objective based (none of that CTF/invade & annex). We have mission makers who would be available to cater to our/your needs (whatever mods we decide to both use). We could play on our server and on our TS. Basically, we can handle all the preparations, but we just need to find middle ground in regards to the addons to use and when we should host the event so that all can enjoy. At the end of the day, if need be we can start off with vanilla Arma3 with CBA and task force radio for our first meeting, just to get the ball rolling as smoothly as possible, and if it is successful and met with great interest, we can start adding more mods to our encounters. If you are interested and don't play with mods, we can still do this as well. Please let me know if you are interested!   10. The world as we know it is gone. Within days, Red Venus spreads like The Plague, infecting millions. Those who are infected later die and come back and feast on the living. Fast forward to 2 years after the outbreak, (2 A.Z) The People's Survivor Army, an advanced military organization on Altis took up arms to restore order and beat back the infection once and for all. The year is now (3 A.Z), the PSA have failed to stop the infection. They pulled back to their last operational base, Fort Huxley, and turned it into a safezone for survivors. It is currently the last known functioning PSA facility on the island. Will you join the ranks of the PSA? Become another survivor? Take up arms against the PSA? Or flee far away and establish your own faction/tribe/community? It's all up to you in this harsh Roleplaying world! What Exactly Is Red Venus? Red Venus is an Apocalyptic Life sim where you RP one of three modes (You can swap between them). Military, survivor/civilian, and mercenary. Military personnel have to enforce laws, ensure safety in safezones, and attempt to take Altis back from the dead and rebuild civilization. Civilians are basic survivors who must choose between a safe life within the safezones, or a hard life of banditry away from the safezones. Finally, Mercenaries are basically survivors who do not trust the military anymore, and decided to take matter into their own hands, where safety of civilians is their number one priority. Red Venus is the first ever gamemode meant to immerse the players into a heavy Roleplay environment based in the zombie apocalypse. Rather than throwing the players into an open world with the basic survival mechanics with no real idea of who you are or what you're supposed to do, instead Red Venus puts the players into one of three factions, fighting the undead and struggling for survival. Red Venus relies heavily on Roleplay. It puts the players into a post-apocalyptic world, but also prohibits RDM and pointless killing; "Forcing" players to roleplay. What Makes This Different? So first of all, this allows you to play as someone we barely ever see in zombie games: The government. They will have to coordinate and execute side missions and large military objectives to eliminate the undead threat. While also having to worry about Civil-control, settlement management (Think State of Decay-Style), and even combating the local resistance based on the player's moral choices. For mission makers and server owners: Red Venus RPG is fully customizable. With an easy-to-use system, you can remove and add the features you would like to use in your server. Feel free to completely customize it and host it on your server for others to play.   11. Beta-testers and cannon fodder are needed for a new Team vs.Team Sector Control scenario that is currently being developed for APEX Tanoa! Currently, we are stable with 5 Island Sectors, but wish to expand this to 7, 9, and 11 Sectors provided we have enough players to test the flow and ebb of the gameplay.   12. Description FT-2 is a PvP (TvT) multiplayer game mode with an intensive large scale battles of two sides for strategic key locations. Over 50 playable battle locations with different amount of sectors to capture (ranging from 1 sector to 4) brings the core of teamwork and individual gameplay in a more arcade-like style, with one major task in hand - make your team win! Gameplay Each player has the possibility to spawn at thier Team base or thier deployed MHQ (if not destroyed) & captured sectors.   13. If you are looking for a project where communication, cooperation and coordination counts then the MACE PVP/TVT is for you! Stand in front of another player and defeat him in a virtual battle. MULTI-PLAYER ArmA COMBAT ENGINE This was first concieved as a mission within ArmA2 and has been developed and improved by the MACE/Total War community within ARMA3. The MACE engine is a modded version of the Zdrob Engine by eRazer, and is a platform upon which players can create any battlefield environment within ArmA3. Specifically for multiplayer team games - PvP/TvT, the MACE engine provides a scalable battlespace from infantry only, to full combined arms with support units, armored vehicles and aircraft. Zdrob Engine Inside The mission is powered by the Zdrob engine, created by its author eRazer, using his extensive experience of sqf scripting and he has over 4000+hrs within ARMA3 mostly editing/scripting missions. This has been developed over the last 3 years with the ideas and feedback of the community (initially PAC / 9GU) and has now evolved into the Zdrob engine (Zengin) which is a framework/tool to build multi-player PvP/TvT missions. Dynamic Mission Framework The dynamic nature of the mission allows great variety with every mission. Its does this through customisable mission parameters and tools. The server administrator can choose predefined (map dependant) or "dynamic locations", with up-to 10 dynamic/moveable sectors, each with their own unique size. As the server fills with players, the dynamic roles and deployment systems of the mission, adapt automatically according to the No. of players on the server. This allows the mission to automatically change from, small scale infantry combat to large scale, combined arms battle, without restarting the mission. Commmunity The MACE project is a community of international communities, large/small and individuals players. We are an OPEN community of serious, hardcore, PVP players, who like a challenge. We are activley looking for other like minded players, groups or communites for participation in our organised battles and practice sessions. Hi folks, we are happy to announce that before end of May (Registration deadline: May, 17th Thursday 26th of May), the second edition of the Electronic Sports Master™ | A-Series CTF Conference League 2016 will start. (Game mode CTF | Capture the flag) We take this opportunity to change our name with the aim to adapt to some issues that came up during last edition. This little change of organization is about ping issues faced by some teams located in the US or in Asia. Summary: Two teams fight for control of pre-defined sectors using limited assets — the team with a majority of sectors held bleeds the others tickets, with the match ending when one team reaches 0 tickets. The intent of this missions is balanced and fun infantry combat. Armed vehicles have limited respawns and longer respawn timers than their soft-skinned counterparts, and the better equipt classes have fewer available slots than standard riflemen. My friend who worked on this mission and I are hoping this resembles gameplay you'd get from games like Project Reality or Battlefield's Conquest game-mode — except in ARMA. Feature list: Respawns available at your base and on your Squad Leader's rally point (Destroyed on Squad Leader's death) Lightweight niceties like earplugs, squad name markers, health display (all toggleable, F1-F5 keys) Custom bleeding values using RHS ammo class names (So larger calibers can cause higher tiers of bleeding) Custom medical - very slow health regeneration that can be somewhat sped up by sitting down. This is to avoid players deciding to respawn (losing their team a ticket) if they're too badly injured to continue. Pre-defined classes with unique roles, while not being unfair — you won't get a rubbish PDW simply for going medic. RPG assistants also carry a disposable 1-shot launcher along with the ammo for their reloadable counterpart carried by the primary AT role. There are also two types of standard rifleman. Opfor have the choice of an AK74m or AK-103 rifleman, while Bluefor have the choice of an M4 or M16. Magnified optics are reserved for Designated Marksmen and Special Forces. Limited vehicle selection. While there is some asymmetry with vehicle loadouts, this is hopefully both balanced and flavoursome. Only the largest version (Athira) includes high-tier modern vehicles. This is primarily an infantry mission and we did not want thermals or high-power vehicle weapons / GMG's to be common. Servers: N/A Future plans: If anyone actually plays this and likes it we might expand this mission with new areas (perhaps also on upcoming maps like Tanoa or Taunus), add extra features (BIS revive was tested but disabled in this release due to a bug with spawning), make prettier FOBs (The current bases are quite lazy but I wasn't going to waste time on immaculate item placement at such an early stage), add side missions or other random events. If you have feedback this is the place for it; there may still be some rough edges here and there, so if you notice a problem or have comments on balance/ticket values, let us know and we'll take that into consideration for the next iteration. The new 1.60 respawn screen also now appears to allow class limits, so we'll take a look at using that rather than the arma 3 lobby for role selection (so you can change your kit on respawn w/ a preview of its gear).

  19. Like to share a mission I'm busy with. must have 1-5 players on blufor side [COOP] Now COOP ONLY. A NATO recon/sniper team is tasked with killing the high value opfor officer spotted recently. The Officers last know location is marked and updated every minute or so. He is in enemy territory so be stealthy and tactical. One bullet well placed is all it takes to accomplish your mission. And now there's art to make things even more difficult. Every play through is a new story based around the theme of an elite sniper team. If cornered the opfor will converge on your location and you will have to fight your way out (DAC is awesome, quite a few AI and I average 50+fps). Vechiles are spawned near where you start to minimise hoofing it everywhere. But cars are noisy. This is heavily WIP so feedback welcome and updates should be expected.   21. Hello everyone, I am interested in trying to create, I guess a sub community of sorts, devoted to playing PvP tactical missions, but 'open' to the public in the way of a sign up process. I have long followed and watched videos from various communities on YouTube or on the forums here, and I see a lot of people express an interest in joining such a community. But often, joining a community means certain days you have to play on, certain requirements to join and so on. I am by no means trying to remove these groups, simply trying to start something different, for the people out there wanting to do something different. Overall concept: Depending on the amount of people interested I would want a weekly game, Friday/Saturday night (totally up for debate/change) where the community would simply sign up for a role in the current mission, join on the day and work together to achieve the goal of the mission. There would be no requirement other than the willingness to play the role that you have selected, meaning if you selected a squad leader role, the rest of us are counting on you to have some form of plan/idea on how to achieve the goal of the current mission. Example: Missions briefing: - Hostage situation, 2 squads from OPFOR, 2 squads from BLUFOR and 2 hostages. Winning conditions for OPFOR: Defeat all BLUFOR, or hold out long enough for reinforcements to arrive. Failure conditions for OPFOR: No remaining OPFOR, or BLUFOR gets the hostages to an extraction point. Winning conditions for BLUFOR Extract the hostages, or eliminate all OPFOR before reinforcements arrive. Failure conditions for BLUFOR No remaining BLUFOR, or OPFOR holds out long enough for reinforcements to arrive. If hostages are killed by either side, the side that kills them loses. Before I start the process of a more detailed mission briefing and so on, I would like to know if there, in the community, is an interest for such an event/group/community that is open for everyone to freely join, as long as you show commitment and try to make the whole event a fun experience for everyone involved. If I receive enough interest in this project, I will start working on the event and hopefully have something ready for you all!
