In Mafia Team Work, your family and yourself are working for Kenny Petrovic, in direct confrontation with an other family. Your objective is to earn more respect and prove to Petrovic that your family is the only one to trust. This gamemode is a fast paced dynamic PvP mission, in a customized & optimized area of 9km². Also playable in Singleplayer and Coop with dynamic difficulty. Missions & Targets are common to both teams. Each objective completed add Respect points to your team. When game time is over, the game ends once the current mission is completed. The team that got the highest Respect score will gain the trust of Mr. Petrovic, Godfather of Katalaki Bay. At respawn location, use flag’s menu to get a car. All cars can be field-repaired anytime. Open your GPS to reach objectives faster. The Wanted Level is inspired from “Grand Thef Auto”, and tells players how much police attention they are getting, or in a few missions, how much they are actively searching for the objective. Wanted Level 1 and 2 stars are related to your own actions, only the wanted mafia member sees it, and cops will only be after him. Level 3, 4 and 5 stars however, are global. All mafia members will be actively wanted by Law Enforcers. Expect cops, FBI agents, and Army to come in number, protecting objectives assets against the mob. How it works Level 1 : Depends on checks and stops (usually on foot) that randomly happen on the map. If the patrol has not been neutralized or outrun, it will trigger level 2. Level 2 : Hitting a police patrol car, or shooting next to cops or on their vehicle, will trigger Level 2 star, as well as Level 1 backup calls. The various events impacting Wanted levels overlap each other. As a result, shooting down or outrun a patrol does not reset your Wanted index if another patrol is also on your trail. Despite Levels 1 and 2 are related to a single mafia member’s actions, other mobsters are not safe: if a patrol sees a mafia member, they can decide to engage him as well. Level 3-4-5 : Are related to "Take and Bring Back" type missions. Law enforcers will spawn continuously until the end of the current mission. The amount of active reinforcements simultaneously depends on the mission and the number of players connected. Backups, as well as regular patrols will head towards the objective to protect it from the mafia. Wanted Level progression is based on the number of patrols neutralized. Take down a helicopter patrol will piss the cops 2x more than losing a ground patrol.   2. Hi all I am trying to make a pvp scenario in which opfor will need to take civilian AI Hostage during the mission, and part of blufors mission will be to free those hostages. I am very confused as to how to make this work as I have no experience with scripting. Any help is appreciated, Thanks
  3. Hello, i'm a regular player of Zeus on multiplayer, and i've seen the series grow over the years(ARMA 2, ARMA 2 OA, ARMA 3, etc) During ARMA 2, Warfare/CTI was probably my favorite gamemode. I was wondering, could there be modules and objects in place for the zeus to utilize, in order to construct a similar scenario to that of CTI/Warfare like in ARMA 2 with ease? More specifically, I was thinking about features like such: in-game place-able marketplace for players to purchase new vehicles, weapons, and ammo, etc on the field(This will allow players to provide for themselves instead of relying on zeus to always add items) -in-game currency automatically rewarded to players for killing enemies, completing objectives, etc(Required mechanic for the above) Ability for teams to vote a single player as commander to allow the construction of friendly structures such as possible FOBs(new respawn points by choice of the players) Module for Zeus to occupy a town with selected enemy forces of choice. Anything else that makes sense These were some of the additions I thought of, any suggestions are appreciated. Why did I suggest these changes? I feel like the Zeus, currently, is a little handicapped in some aspects. To supply players with non-default class weapons and equipment, Zeus must place down dozens of crates to allow players to have variety or simply find the gun that the players want(Why not just have it all in one Virtual Arsenal type of system) Also, i'm aware that there are vehicles respawns, but they have been known to crash the game for the Zeus, and sometimes players don't necessarily need the same vehicle continuously. Minimizing unnecessary clutter is obviously ideal for performance. I feel like some of these additions would help lighten the load on any Zeus just starting out as well. Because I feel like some of these things should be automated; and players should be able to have a bit more freedom without relying on the Zeus all the time.

Surviving means making alliances and taking what you need from opposing factions, whether that be skills, resources, or their lives. Tranquilize players using tranquilizing needles or ammo. - Arsenal: Custom guns, including hunting rifles and shotguns. Custom realistic soundshaders, including realistic attachments(suppressor) sounds. - Immersion/Horror: Custom lighting, including natural nighttime lighting and full use of TrueSky system. Ambient music. Mystic creatures (WIP). - Hunting/animals: Track and hunt animals. Chop woods, make campfire and cook meat. - Dogs/Taming: Tame dogs, give them commands. Watch their state, heal and feed them. Kill and defend yourself versus hostile player's pets. - Survival: Desease, Radiation (WIP), Scarce fuel resources, Hunger, Thirst. - Construction: World: Build crates, camonet stashes, secret stone stashes. Havens: Lock your own haven. Reinforce and modify it. Build various furniture. Raid(destroy) and rob other havens. Reinforce your haven to protect it.     Hello fellow Arma 3 players. My name is John but I go by snake in game on mostly hostile takeover servers.Steam name bojangles2020 or also Snake.Im here today for the first time to post to the community.i have been playing Arma 3 since the beginning and built many missions.i like to go more smaller based missions with high intensity.depending on mods may determine difficulty.i create missions for my friends and myself to play and we are always looking for new people to join in on the fun.currently I'm working on a mission using the ALIVE mod to have a persistent battle across-the-board.maybe week long missions or longer.a place where you can save and come back and not repeat one area.Also I make special ops type missions where the run time could be 30 minutes or 2 hours.Its all up to the player.I don't mind taking requests for something your mind can conjure up!!I hear guys say Arma 3 is past it's time but let's change that perception.FYI I have no group at the moment.All the current guys just want to come and chill and have fun.Some even role play characters to really bring the missions to life.If you read this far thank you and hope to see you in the lobby!

We are looking for players and event staff to help with the planning and smooth running of the event, the applications to which will be released shortly. We are looking for ideas from the community to make this the best ever PvP event and we have already had a sizeable interest in the event since we started advertising recently.   7. Every Friday any number of units show up and we divide up teams then play. all missions are player made and all of it is pvp, every Friday, same time, usually 8pm EST sometimes before. We need more members, on average as of now its only been 30 - 40, we can use even more. This is modded Arma, RHS is commonly used, ace Basic Medical, custom maps occasionally and during holidays or pre-scheduled annual events, RHS can be changed out for IFA or any other gear/vehicle altering mod.
  8. Fall of men is role playing game where you can talk and commerce with NPCs and do quests. You must also try to survive in the hostile post apocalyptic world, where even other players maybe hostile This mission is continuous work in progress but can already be played. Note the mission on server below is not always up to date but is running last stable release Features currently in game: Quests: NPCs with quests Doing quests will reward you XP and money Talk to NPC via dialogues over 30 quests! (more to come) Quests to clear bandit towns (one so far) Survive: Hostile world outside of towns (AI controlled bandits) Bandits drive cars Bandits call for backup if given enough time! CSAT controls north west of the map The bandits and CSAT will send hit squad after you (via air) if you mess with them too much The enemy has placed road blocks and small camps around the map Beaware that players with high lockpick skill may break into your house Hireable companions Abandoned vehicles spawn across the island Skills: XP / level system Different skills (total 8) Gain money and XP by killing the bandits You can try to lockpick and steal cars Skills include: Accuracy (amount of weapon sway) Stamina Armor Speed Barter Speech (Unlocks special options in conversations) Lockpick Pickpocket (Try to take items from NPC, who will get mad if you get caught!) Law: Law and guards in towns (don't shoot or steal!) You can surrender and get rid of the villain status if you break the law in town (but you lose couple skill points) Player can rob the bank. Making him hostile to the current town Commerce: Trading with NPC shopkeeper Buy houses where you can store your gear/loot Caravans travel between towns (You can trade with the caravan trader) Loot from previous plays go to your house's container when you buy a house Player can deposit money in bank. Each town has independent bank Some houses outside towns may contain valuable loot. The doors are also locked if any Money you left in banks will be saved to your character Also money you used to buy houses is returned to you when you quit Car dealers in towns! Property: Claim any house in the wilderness as your home! You can build walls around your houses in the wilderness (using zeus, press Y) Lock your car Setting: PvP 8 populated towns so far Tweakable gameplay via parameters Weather parameters Cool atmosphere parameters Ambient helo flying around (CSAT area) Instructions: Look for NPC with icon on top of them. They will give you quests and trade. Use mouse scroll wheel to select actions and middle click to use Player data is saved so you can continue where you left Fast travel between towns via helicopter! These will be monthly tournaments called "Masters CUP" and the only requirement to participate is to enrol a team of minimum 6 players before the deadline. Joining these events is FREE! The deadline will always the last Monday before each event. For this first tournament it will be the 24th of October. The matches will always be played at the same time/day.   10. Who We Are: 1st the Queen’s Dragoon Guards is a European ArmA 3 Milsim community which simulates a a Light Cavalry Troop and focuses on adversarial and cross community cooperative game-play. We play across a range of periods from with our main focus on the twilight years of the Cold War. As light cavalry we simulate a self-reliant and highly mobile force which makes use of light vehicles such as the Land Rover WMIK. We habitually functions as small independent teams in order to inform and guide friendly forces whilst also disrupting and confusing our enemies. We are also one of the leading members of the cross community organisation Nato Forces of ArmA 3 [NFA]. As part of which we host a persistent Hearts and Minds Scenario for cross community cooperative play and monthly adversarial operations which have attracted over 60 players and 5 participating communities. Our Schedule: Our sessions are ran on Thursdays and Sundays at 2000 UK time (GMT / GMT +1 season dependent). Typically our Thursdays focus on crew development and trade skills (such as observation posts or close target reconnaissance. We all know that "1st person vs 3rd person" debate, but Instead of forcing 1st person server-side, I would like to restrict 3rd person view a bit, so you cannot zoom behind the wall and spot people at 700m range.   21. Hey there, Der Server a small community of friends are looking to expand our current roster of eight. We come from around the globe EU, US, and CN. With this being said our missions run around a time to suit a majority. We are a mature group but also all get along really well and can have some good banter. The community plays with an relaxed approach towards playing “realism missions” and being part of the “realism community”. We don’t expect you to call higher ranking members sir, ma’am, do rigorous training courses, or know everything out of a tactical handbook. Instead we use the available mods to develop missions which would be played in a fun manner whilst also trying to tactically play out the mission. Each week the mission changes unless it’s a campaign so there’s never any set faction or playstyle we would be playing for weeks on end it helps to keep things fresh! TL:DR: if you like to play realism missions but don’t want to have to go through the hassle of training etc with a community then this is the place for you!     Dissension Alpha V0.1 Pre-Release What is Dissension? Dissension is a grand CTI with a focus on resource collecting, character leveling, base constructing, and out thinking the enemy. Dissension offers a unique experience when it comes to capture-the-island missions by challenging the players with AI commanders that try to outsmart you at every turn. AI commanders are assigned random personalities and traits that heavily influence the course of battle Players are just another tool that the AI commanders have in their arsenal. Players can choose to follow the orders given by their commander, assault territory, do supply runs, fortify positions, destroy enemy supply lines, or anything else they desire. The ultimate goal is destruction of the enemy commander. This thread is currently to serve as a way to communicate and collaborate with the community for creative ideas to improve Dissension before its first release. Below are features that are currently implemented, followed by features that are planned before first release. Hey everyone! I apologize for the silence, been working non-stop (I have 6 days off in a row coming up next week :D ) I have had time to work on Dissension and fix many, many, many bugs and problems that were reported. Such a complex and far-reaching mission is bound to be full of issues and bugs. Fortunately, a significant chunk of them have been squashed and dealt with. Although, I am sure some of the reported bugs remain, there is just so much to do :> So I want to push out another improved version. I have added a few extra features but it mostly focuses on bug fixing and smoothing out. Simply naming AI squads makes players more likely to support them/care about their progress. Keeping a squad alive longer could also have benefits in the future. In addition, letting players name their squads (and displaying their squad on the map), lets other players know where each group is and what they are doing. Making it easier to decide what group to join. The goal is to make players WANT to be in the same group and work together. CHANGELOG NEW: AI Groups are now assigned group names. These groups are persistent throughout the game, and maintain their group knowledge through respawn. NEW: Player groups are now displayed on the map. Players can now press U to make/join other groups. Players can name their group and invite others in. This will allow freshly joined players to see what each group is doing and join/ask to join that group instead of going in alone. NEW: Squad vs Squad report system. Players are now informed of which nearby squads are fighting (EX: “EAGLE is engaging PASTA”. This allows players to build rivalries or spread fear into opposing player groups. When your squad is engaged by an enemy squad a more obvious message is displayed on screen (EX: PASTA vs RAWRZOR). The color of the message dictates the enemy squad’s side. NEW: Nearby players all receive cash for one another’s kills. This will encourage players to group up and work together. NEW: All players in vehicles are now rewarded with cash for kills. NEW: POI’s (Points of Interest) are now capturable. POI’s are map specific locations (EX: COCOA PLANTATIONS, LUMBERMILL, SMALL PIER, RUINS, etc). These POI’s calculate their provided resources by what the POI includes inside its borders. NEW: Opfor Commander is fully implemented! NEW: Side specific markers. West/East can no longer see ANY of the territory owned by the other side. The only exception to this rule is when either side takes a territory owned by the other. NEW: Supply points will now spawn Aircraft that will attempt to retrieve supplies from supply points. However, AI piloting still seems very sketchy, so there is a good chance these will be replaced with Infantry squads that “carry” the supplies from point A to point B. Not happy about the frustration with AI doing supply runs… The other option would be forcing the players to deliver full supply points. NEW: Private Military Contractor Militia units are now uniquely kitted out. Works for Vanilla or RHS. NEW: Parameter for selecting wanted mod. Supported modes are Vanilla, RHS, and Iron Front NEW: Resistance towns now have the chance to spawn light vehicles. CHANGE: When playing with Iron Front, ARSENAL will only let you take weapons/most equipment from that ERA. (No A3 or RHS weapons when playing with Iron Front). CHANGE: Boat transports now completely cache the group and virtualize the transportation. If the boat is destroyed while transporting the squad, the whole squad is killed. This was done to support mixed AI groups with several vehicles and AI on foot. CHANGE: Supply points are currently using helicopters instead of trucks. The AI are not smart when it comes to picking up supplies…. This might be changed later to the commander requesting players to pick up the supplies and bring them back. FIX: Many, many, many RPT spamming bugs FIX: Many of the missions now respect the currently selected mod. FIX: Iron Front forces forced to appropriate sides when spawning in….Americans are Blufor. Germans are Opfor. Russians are Resistance. FIX: Vehicles are appropriately filtered when playing with Iron Front. FIX: Capturing certain locations did not work properly. FIX: Re-wrote part of the defense spawning for AI. They groups are now larger. FIX: Arsenal bugs out on Dedicated Server FIX: Joining in Dedicated environment would break the game :< FIX: JIP for the server is now working. The only exception seems to a few markers not populating correctly. KNOWN BUGS -When playing on a dedicated server from the very beginning, it may take a while to be moved to the correct position at the commander. This is due to the server still marking all the appropriate locations and spawning in the appropriate units. For now, the players can either wait for the Barracks to be created before spawning in, or simply waiting at spawn to be correctly teleported. -Still, sometimes the UI will randomly disappear. I was wondering if people were interested in joining in a night whereby players would engage in a realistic PvP/TvT/A&D (or however you want to call it!) on a large scale (around 100 man). This will essentially be like two organised teams playing a no respawn coop against each other. Even if you are not in a community it will be open to anyone who enjoys playing in a structured and organised way. We are a casual milsim group focused on teamplay, tactics and realistic objectives. W have had great success in the past thanks to all those who joined us into making a full realistic immersive experience. It has been a while since our last TvT game night and I'd like to announce the next one for Sunday 6th May. It will focus on a large scale A&D hoping to be both immersive and challenging with realistic objectives focused on organised tactics to achieve them.   25. Hello there, I'm running a Public Server, one thats generally more fun oriented than milsim . With that said I'm open to ideas for things people would like to play. Me and my old timer buddies prefer more of a PvP element, although Coops are also a nice change in pace. So for example, if I put up a series of Star Wars PvP maps where teams take areas to bleed the other teams respawns, would anyone be interested in that? Or a full time PvP with Iron Front server with Coop Mission Nights ? Lampreys and Zombies? Even a Submarine naval themed server could be possible. Anything that could be outside the norm but is still wanted by the community. I would like to gauge the current state of the playerbase before I begin making more maps. If people would prefer just CUP I have some TDMs all ready to go. I'm just not sure i I want to go in the direction of Arma Life or Exile; although it seems those are the most demanded/ populated servers. Any other ideas are welcome. (don't say Armstalker.....I wish..)
