  3. This mission is not another run and gun insurgency. You will have to work to find the enemy, either by talking to the civilian population or stumbling upon them yourselves with recon tactics. There are no magical markers on the map to show you enemy locations. Civilians that are favorable toward your side will mark your map (If asked nicely) with any locations that they are aware of.   6. Doctor Who: Weeping Angel Game Mode Description: Doctor Who: Weeping Angel Game Mode is a Singleplayer, Coop and Multiplayer mode where you will face the weeping angels. The angels are a dangerous species. They can only move and attack you when you are NOT looking at them. Use your flashlight to see them. Don´t think you can hide or outsmart them. They are extremely intelligent. Keep your back and front cleared. In singleplayer this can be very hard.. YOU NEED TO USE THE FLASHLIGHT. The angels can still move and attack if you don´t use your flashlight! How it works: The are a couple of game areas that will be randomly choosen when the game starts. The area is marked with big airport lampost with red light. If you go outside of them you will die. In multiplayer, If an angel get´s you will have to spectate it till someone get to the tardis or all players have been taken. After a certain time the tardis will arrives and the player that enter it first will "win". It's an open sandbox with every Apex vehicle, gun, and gear piece available. It features a firing range, respawn and revive system, vehicle respawns, toggle-able missions, and a fully stocked virtual arsenal.   11. Hello lads! I'm currently making / modifying a coop mission in ArmA 3, most stuff works so far, managed to find most stuff i needed in the Forums already. Now i have a little problem, it has been explained a few times already, but i just can't seem to understand it somehow :P How can i manage to make stuff sync between all connected users ? e.g. i have some "addaction" stuff used in my mission, but some of these actions are only executed on the local client side, and not globally for all of the players. As far as i know, i will have to somehow send information (for ex. briefcase collected, which would be a addaction) to the server in which i set a server variable (for ex. briefcase_collected) to a specific value, in this case 1 / true. Then the server would share this information with all collected clients, and by changing the value of the variable, the clients would know that this task has been completed, and it would show the next. I just have no idea how i do this in arma, i am trying for quite some hours now but just can seem to get it right. I thank all of those that give me some hints in advance! B) - PsychOrange
  12. What is the 111th S.O.G. ? The 111th Special Operations Group is modeled after the small direct action paramilitary units employed by the C.I.A.. As a component of the Special Activities Division, the 111th SOG is a highly trained group tasked with the most secretive missions in the world. Using every tier 1 specialty and asset in its arsenal the group takes on missions that include everything from hostage rescue, HVT assassinations, reconnaissance, demolition, and sabotage are just a small sample of the types of missions it takes on. Who are we looking for ? The 111th SAD/SOG is currently rebooting our group from the ground up. We have already acquired a few new candidates and are looking to grow our ranks. We are a small and tight knit group of friends that enjoy ARMA 3 COOP milsim training and missions. We are mature older professionals looking for those out there that want to experience ARMA 3 MilSim in a "New to MilSim" friendly environment. For those out there that are brand new to ARMA or brand new to MilSim, we provide a great place to learn the ropes and will walk you through the entire process from installing your mods, to setting up your ARMA settings and training with our unit. We are also of course interested in those that are experienced ARMA players or those who have mission building experience. Frag Platoon is a fairly small tight knit group (of about 12 people currently) which has been around for over a year, however switched to Arma 3 on new years from Arma 2 so we are some could say "new" to arma 3. We are hoping to reach a stable 20-25 players regularly. We feel a small group that plays well together is better than 30+ player counts where you don't really know everyone. That and easier to make missions. Our focus is on on fun and semi realistic play style. Meaning that our missions have a realistic role selection (squad lead, squad medic, fireteam 1, ect) without all the "proper" drills or requirements to be in certain slots its first come first serve for roles. You are not locked to any role for example you can be a rifleman one game and a pilot the next (we do ask you do know how to fly though and not take it and crash instantly). Missions we play vary wildly. Coops, TVT's, Zues missions and gimmick missions (take it easy missions like car races ect) usually played at the end of session. The mod's that we use are in our Arma 3 sync repo. Consisting of: ACE3, Acre, CBA3, Cup terrains, Standalone F-15, John's SU-35, both RHS packs and Shacktac's hud. With Unsung's update in the future Our sessions are at 8pm EST as due to our international members this works best for the majority so anyone is welcome to join. We do not have any "session requirements" meaning we are not forcing you to play with us join us whenever you can. We are even fine if you multi-clan. We do ask to please let any admins know if you cant make it for courtesy sake as sometimes we plan missions based on estimated player count. Requirements to join are fairly simple. Must be respectful, mature, have a good sense of humor and willing to play as a team. No lone wolfing. Must be at least 17 years to join.   16. Hi fellas, since I´m allowed to ask here for help, this is what I do then, cause I need it kinda desperately! Whatever mission I made, my main problem was always to get tasks work properly. JIP, mission ending conditions by "whole group" and so on... My last approach worked actually kinda well, using the FHQ Task Tracker. At least while I was hosting a MP from my gaming pc (locally).., but since we ("clan") changed to a dedicated server, tasks are not even showing up anymore at all! My main goal is to be able to create a working mission structure like following: - MP / COOP, ideally with JIP - 2 or 3 Tasks, dont care if they are already assigned or not on mission start - Extractionzone triggering the end, only when whole group present and all Tasks done - Dedicated Server compatible Doesnt sound too difficult, but I just dont get it right... I´ve seen many posts about this topic and there are a few tutorials as well, unpacked countless pbo´s, but I´m just stucked. If there is somebody out there, willing to help, for example by reviewing my last mission, or help me creating a template for myself, this would be more then appreciated. Story / Intel Last week's attack of Joint Ops team Forces on Sokovo Villa lead to a disaster. Footage we took revealed that Charlie Team managed to secure Col. Alfredo, brother of Dragan in his villa. Heavy firefight took place that day but villa has been secured with VIP target still alive. Unfortunately we were unable to retrieve laptop with important data on Dragan's Army due to a FREAKING MINI NUCLEAR EXPLOSION. Several survivors from Charlie Team gave statements but we are still determining what exactly led to that unfortunate event. What we were able to gather so far is that Alfredo managed to get free and one member of Charlie team double tapped him. With Alfredo's death a countdown of 2 minutes has been set and we were fortunately able to extract majority of forces from that area. But we still lost a lot of good men that day as several extraction helicopters crashed in a huge fireball. Nuke has been identified as 1-kiloton device with a blast radius of ~500 metres and 500 rem lethal radiation dose in area of 850-1000 metres. Initial intel we have confirms Alfredo managed to get nukes to Isla Abramia with cargo ships from Northern Sahrani along with several SLA military equipment. Including at least 24 tanks and several Su-25 planes were spotted on satellite images. It is not excluded biohazard weapons were not in one of the shipments, so we requested several NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) suits for this upcoming operation. HQ is ordering immediate start of Operation TOA2 this Thursday with next objectives: - retrieve shipment of NBC suits delivered at approx March 3 @2030Z. - secure capitol of Yolandi with assistance of armored group - investigate locations of possible additional 1 kiloton mini-nukes and or nerve gas agents. - capture Dragan 4. Sides & Equipment We all start on the same side as Abramian Rebel Alliance (ARA). Official event language is English. There will be respawn enabled for reinforcements, and respawn points will move when certain objectives are met. Abramia is a small country and depends largely on Russian equipment, mostly light vehicles and armor. Couple of army bases provide transport and assault helicopters while airbases have couple of jets on the standby. Dragan increased air defenses as he is expecting foreign involvement, so do not count on any help from above any time soon. It is absolutely crucial to capture any assets we come across. 5.   19. Description: This project is no longer active. Cyclone is some sort of persistent cooperative scenario for ARMA 3. In the same spirit of Invade & Annex, but not nearly as mature. As a player, the point of it is mainly to fly/drive/halo to parts of the map where bad guys are and shoot them and disabled some contrived (plot) devices in the area. And then a new task is generated somewhere else so you can do the same thing over and over again forever. These objectives may be fleshed out later on to be a bit more interesting. I don't know how it compares to DAC in practice because it hasn't seen much field testing, but at least the AI should be more interesting than vanilla AI with random patrols. It's also supposed to run efficiently, but how successful that has been is a bit of a mystery as explained below. Endeavour: At this point I've done about as much as I can on my own. I don't have the resources to test this in private with a large group nor to moderate a public server. So if anybody is interested in this enough to host it, or a derivative of it, you would be doing me a favour. I do intend to maintain the mission for some time.

  23. Like to share a mission I'm busy with. must have 1-5 players on blufor side [COOP] Now COOP ONLY. A NATO recon/sniper team is tasked with killing the high value opfor officer spotted recently. The Officers last know location is marked and updated every minute or so. He is in enemy territory so be stealthy and tactical. One bullet well placed is all it takes to accomplish your mission. And now there's art to make things even more difficult. Every play through is a new story based around the theme of an elite sniper team. If cornered the opfor will converge on your location and you will have to fight your way out (DAC is awesome, quite a few AI and I average 50+fps). Vechiles are spawned near where you start to minimise hoofing it everywhere. But cars are noisy. This is heavily WIP so feedback welcome and updates should be expected.
