    JETS DLC

    i purchased jets dlc a week ago, and whenever i play KOTH it keeps showing ads on my screen, the DLC is installed on steam, and its enabled, its a pain in the ass, and whenever i try to ride one of the dlc helicopters it says that i must buy the JETS DLC, but i already bought it, whats the probelm? any help?
  2. Hello. Im learning currently JIP and have some problems. Respawn type in Description.ext is 3 (BASE) 1. I have a task (tsk1) created in InitPlayerLocal.sqf tsk1 = player createSimpleTask [localize "STR_tsk1"]; tsk1 setSimpleTaskDescription [localize "STR_tsk1_1", localize "STR_tsk1", localize "STR_tsk1"]; 2. I have a trigger with condition: !alive typ1 (Execution only on server). By activation: ["task1Completed","stat.sqf"] remoteExec ["execVM",0] 3. The problem is that the tasks are not completed if player joins in progress (I execute triggers only on server, so they doesn't run by JIP players) How I can synchronize the tasks by that way? So the tasks, which are completed by currently playing players will be marked as completed by JIP players too..? Any suggestions?
  3. Story This is a script that I wrote a few weeks ago for a friend. It's supposed to simplify the loading of cargo onto vehicles by the player. There are several routine integrated to avoid script errors. A description can be found inside the SQF file, how to execute the script. It's SP/MP/Dedicated and HC compatible. Have fun.   4. DESCRIPTION: If you've ever dreamed of sailing a boat in Arma 3 using the wind to move around, now you can! Using [Dust]Sabre's cool sailboats, once you unfurl the sails, the boat will move forward based on the wind strength and direction. Different wind angles will cause the boat to automatically change the angle of the boom arm. You'll have to navigate to your destination based on the best angle of the wind. But beware, don't sail directly into the wind or you'll get stuck "In Irons" which will slow you down.   5. This is my first post, so I'll begin by apologising for any rules I may break or any syntax issues. Secondly, Im Trying to remodel an entire Arma 3 unit for a mod I am creating. The model was imported to Object builder no worries, I then took my time to follow every tutorial I could get my hands on regarding rigging and setting the unit up to be a playable unit in game. Here is a list of everything that has been done up till now (Without knowing any extra steps): -LODs and Texture set up and working, tested in engine and in game. -Geometry working. -Memory components set up (Now these memory points were used for the Arma 2 example). -Weighting selection to allow for animations (So tedious). - model.cfg and config set up correctly (hopefully). Now when I load it into game, everything works fine, the class path, the textures, I can even control as player, and he moves around as normal. EXCEPT, the model remains in the default "T" stance and about half way through the floor. Does anyone know anywhere I could look, or give me any information on how I can make this work. (Please let me know if you need any more details, like images or my config and model.cfg)
  6. I'm trying to make a scenario for my unit. We are a PMC and we use expendable vehicles. I'm trying to give us some light armor that we can use but I'd like to make all of our vehicles black like they normally are and, I can't seem to find a way to make the BTR-80 black without using a mod that has ISIS symbols written all over it. I was wondering if anyone here knew how I can personally edit the vehicle in any way to maybe either remove these ISIS symbols or color my own. If possible I'd like to keep this within Bohemia's parameters and not have to use a personal mod, but if need be I can. Thank you in advance! ~Balthasaar

    FPS dropdown

    Hello. Since last week (nothing was changed on system or arma 3, no viruses downloaded and etc...) I have fps dropdown in arma 3. This happens everywhere no matter what Im doing. In editor for example: for goes down to 25-33 for sometime and then goes back to normal state (50-70 and more). While this dropdown happens, you can't really even scroll the map in editor, because the game slips somehow. if you aim, it looks like the mouse responds with a delay of milliseconds. No mods enabled. The only 1 thing I done was: cleared the Arma 3 folder in %appdata%\Local Here is the last .rpt:

  9. So my Arma 3 has been running really well ever since I got it. Then, today I tried to use arma mod sync to get takistan mod. I then decided I didn't want takistan, stopped the download, deleted it all, including mod sync, then cleared recycle bin. Ever since I did that, I can open arma just fine then on the launcher when I hit play, it loads fine then takes forever to initialize addons, then load addons. It takes 5-10 mins to complete, then it opens kinda. The screen just goes black. Then about 2 minutes later the little steam fps tracker appears in the corner of the black screen, and keeps switching from 6-7 fps. Game never even gets to main menu. Any help?

    Revenge A year has passed since the CSAT faction was able to get their retribution against their NATO enemies, now that they have the Mediterranean under their control, there has been a increasing amount of insurgency across Altis. BI said that everyone will have data from Apex dlc so that all people can enjoy Community made terrains and missions that use Apex assets while Tanoa alone will remain locked for non apex owners. With that in mind,is there any chance that vegetation_f_expansion.ebo could be decrypted in order to use jungle trees and vegetation for custom terrains? I've seen a few terrains that do use Apex vegetation but i've heard it's only possible if you subscribe to Mikero's tools for 35e. Is this true?

  14. Hello. I have following problem: I made mission. It should be without respawn. In Description.ext I tried respawn = 0 and even to not define respawn. The problem is that I don't want that Init.sqf executes if someone joins in progress. He should be a seagull if he joins in progress (respawn = "BIRD" not worked, init.sqf executes anyway) and Init.sqf should not be executed on his machine. Is there some way to prevent this?

I tried updating my graphic drivers, but it doesn't works... And I tried to play without mods but it's worse (it crash instantly) ! QUESTIONS FOR THE BI DEVS (not for people who think they know) I was just wondering if there are any plans or why some features of VBS 3 such as the bigger maps and higher altitudes (sub orbital,Orbital) have not been implemented into ARMA 3. Space, especially in the year 2035, Should be a big factor to be considered IMO. We now have high altitude missile interceptors such as THAAD. We now have railguns,and hypersonic (mach 7 and above) cruise missiles (BrahMos) , X-37B,Comms,gps Satellites I could go on and on. Are there any plans in the near future to add these features to ARMA 3 or at minimum use the VBS 3 rendering that makes planetary rendering possible? I have a 3d model that uses scram engines I would love to go hypersonic in LEO with.
  17. I'm not sure if this is where this goes but Iv been searching for the past two days and I cannot seem to find an answer. Is there a way to make weapons respawn on the position they were placed after they have been picked up? Either with a timer or event or something, anything at all? Thanks in advance.

  19. Hey guys, today I tried to play King of the Hill with a new config, cause I had some problems with freezes and soundbugs when I tried the last Update on it's launch day. But today I got another (bigger) problem: I tried to join a King of the Hill server again and instantly got the message: "Connecting failed." This happend on every other server I joined too, for example: any Official servers (incl. quick search), Altis life (Vanilla), Deathmatch and King of the Hill. These things did I try to fix it/find the error: 1. PC restart (3x) 2. Router restart 3. 32- and 64-bit 4. Steam offline mode 5. Join after using the editor (editor works fine) 6. Verificate game data's (2x) 7. Deactivated Firewall and Antivirus 8. Direct connect 9. Default config (I deleted Arma3.cfg, ***.Arma3Profile, ***.vars.Arma3Profile) 10. I played DayZ (SA) to be sure there is no problem with BattlEye Every time I launched without mods!   23. Hello. I have following problem: I put AI into vehicle with moveindriver command. After some event he should leave it by: unAssignVehicle sct1; [sct1] orderGetIn false; sct1 action ["GetOut", vehicle sct1]; And after some times he should enter another vehicle by: [sct1] orderGetIn true; sct1 assignAsCargo EscapeBoat; but that ass go back to the first vehicle and enters it. I tried 'allowGetIn false' command. But after I write allowGetIn true, he goes back to the first vehicle. I don't know whats wrong with that vehicle-crap... He just goes back to the first vehicle and enters it even after unAssign commands and other...
  24. Hello Everyone, I have searched throughout my Whole PC and cannot find my Client side Arma 3 rpt file! I have typed the file into my windows search bar and could not find it. I have searched both my Solid State Drive and my Hard drive for this file and cannot find it. I know there is some way to look up error reports on arma 3 , but How if i dont have an rpt file?
