  1. Hello dear people, this is my first forum topic and please dont kill me if I do everything wrong! I am a beginner server administrator and trying to get some things to work. I rented a A3Wasteland server and got it running with https://github.com/MayhemServers/MAYHEM_A3Wasteland.Altis mission. Now theres an addons folder and I try to get some of them working but nothing I tried was a success. For example the buryDeadBody addon can someone explain how to get it running? Im thankful for any help and tipps 😃 Also theres an AI_Spawner folder but I dont get it running too. We hoped to have a nice Wasteland server with occasionally spawning AI troops to support or attack. Im trying my best but its hard. Thank you guys in advance. Nils
  2. So i´ve been seraching for like an hour now but i can´t figure out where to set the startup parameters for a linux dedicated server i just want to enable autoinit so the mission starts when the server is started but where and how ?
  3. I have recently gotten myself into Arma 3 and I only fly helicopters, I am using the Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick which is basically a T16000M but with Airbus stuff. I am using the integrated slider for the collective(analog). I noticed am only flying level like 150kmh with max throttle and if I push the nose down I will lose altitude. But when I am holding shift which is binded to the collective, I can fly a lot faster without losing the altitude. I do not want to hold shift when flying. Is there a work around?
  4. Hi, I'm relatively new to mapmaking and have been so far learning through trial and error (mostly error), but am currently rather stumped with a problem vastly outside my base of experience. I am trying to set a trigger to activate when players collect any 3 pieces of intel (of 6 available), regardless of the combination of intel collected. Only 3 pieces need to be found, and currently I am referencing their collection via a seperate trigger with 'thisNull objectName', as the intel is deleted on pickup, and then trying to get another trigger to check 'triggerActivated triggerName' (horribly inefficient, I know). Apologies if this doesn't make much sense, its 3am and mission making has fried my brain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  9. Hello! We are The Arma Bois and we are a small(~15 active players) Semi-milsim and a bit more casual community mostly consisting of friends. We have both experienced players and newbies so anyone is welcome to join! We are based in the EU and we play missions each Sunday at 16:00 CEST. Those are zeused by me and they are set anywhere from WW2 till present. We also have an antistasi server up 24/7 and we plan to run smaller missions during the week outside of our main ones. There is no training per se, but we need you to know the basics of Ace. Mission organization: We do not have designated people for squads/squad roles, because the mission types vary and we like to keep it casual. You can slot yourself in whichever squad you want with whoever you like as long as the slot is not taken. We do have groups of Czechs and Germans who sometimes tend to play together with their native tongue, however English is the primary language everyone needs to know for communication with other squads and their players. Operation Dates: Sundays at 14:00 US EST Project Simulation 2nd Campaign The Katrol Standoff is the second campaign for the arma 3 Project Simulation Milsim, depicting a contemporary, fictional crisis located in South America, replacing modern day Guyana, Suriname and French Guyana, altering their history and replacing them with three fictional states: Vespaccia, Sevincia and Massere. Players would be met with a "Persistent Campaign" where their choices and actions determine the development, along with the outcome of the campaign, while maintaining our typical realism and immersion. Expectations for the campaign can range from counter guerrila actions to full blown urban combat depending on the actions of the player base. Following the end of World War two and the start of the decolonization process, what follows is the birth of several new states, such occurrence is no different in South America where old european colonies gain their independence and seek to assert their dominance over the important world wide trade route that goes through the series of islands that make up the Katrol Archipelago. Conflicts between these countries aren’t unheard of and have greatly damaged trade in the past, however with all three governments recently entering international talks there has been agreement to host a military exercise in the region, we are sending you to represent us and have hopes that you will do your best to finally put an end to tensions in the region. We will play as the US Army and take action in the Archipelago, looking to secure regional stability and maintain the world wide trade-route as secure as possible, since little is known about the region outside of the three main factions there present you will be working with each one of them for the first couple of days in order to figure out the state of affairs there in. Features 64-bit only custom memory allocator for Arma 3 Based on Intel Threading Building Blocks (TBB) 2018 Update 4 Large Page support Optimized for both AMD and Intel CPU with AVX/AVX2 Drop-in replacement for BI-provided TBB4 malloc How to install You can read the installation guide in the ZIP package. Notes Not BattlEye compatible. I only tested INTEL64 AVX2 binary on my own PC (i7-8750h with RTX 2070). I cant afford to test all binaries. As an unwanted side effect, some trainers/cheats will not working or crash if you use this custom memory allocator 😁 Performance could be better or worst.   18. DEVGRU 77 is a new and small casual milsim unit for Arma 3 that is based on the Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Our campaigns, deployments, and missions are very player driven and oriented with a strong story structure, focusing on the actions and reactions by and to the player base. Things like RPing with civis, deciding which objectives to hit, what intel you're able to gather from civis/HVTs/laptops/phones/recon etc are all taken into account during development to allow freedom of choice and approach. I say casual milsim because our unit isn't focused on being milsim 100% 24/7. We don't require any of the "yes sir, no sir" crap as that's just un-fun. We enjoy having freedom to choose what we wear and use (of course, within reason) so we aren't super restrictive. We more give a couple camo patterns and type of uniform (civis, jeans and G3, any G3 varient, etc) to make you feel like an individual in a group and not a cog in a machine. Our unit is very small, currently only numbering 12 in total. We focus on small unit tactics, unconventional war and enemies, and allowing players to do something they enjoy the most in milsim. We train for all roles within the unit so that each is fluid and able to be moved around as needed within your section. Taking up different tasks at different times throughout a deployment. We are very open to content creators and welcome YouTubers, streamers, and the like to the unit. Steam support said to write to Bohemia Interactive directly. I did it. 2 years passed and nothing. The game costs really much for the country I live in.     DMS - Defent's Mission System

    Sharing my A3DMS Missions for Arma 3 Exile. These Missions are set up to use reinforcements on both static and bandit missions. Working vehicle, helicopter, and foot soldiers when a defined number of AI in a group are killed the reinforcements will come in. The helicopter will fly around as gun ship it will not drop troops If you enable it may or may not work right has a mind of its own when doing pardrops. Take a look at the bandit mission blackHawkDown.sqf, static missions Saltflats.sqf, StoptheMayor.sqf, and Chelonisipower.sqf to see the randomization these have to offer. I run these on my server and players like the randomization because it never plays out the same and they dont get use to the same exact stuff at the missions. If you use dms you cannot use just the missions out of here it will not work you need the scripts folder and the missions folder due to the changes I had to make to 2 scripts and all bandit missions to get this all to work. Also In the blackHawkDown.sqf is specific cordinates put in each pos case and it runs of choosing a mission location off of chordinates you put in there instead of the normal bandit mission random locations. I did this because the buildings for this mission do not work well on hills. the cordinates that are there are for Altis map so if you use another map you need to get cordinates put in where you want possible spawns to be. https://github.com/Crito-VanaheimServers/Reworked-A3DMS-Missions

So a bit of backstory, so you know the scroll wheel arsenal that has a restricted option where only "x" amount of items can be in the crate, cargo, etc. until it is used up, similar to how Antistasi has it in their mod? My question is that is there a way I could apply the restricted arsenal concept to an ACE Interaction arsenal or is that impossible? Thanks!
