  1. It seems as though every day I play endgame, there are always players coming on and just wiping out the whole team. Today, there was even a guy named "Jacks" killing teammates prolifically and spamming gay porn links in the chat. This stuff has to stop! The vote-kick feature does not work because it is extremely difficult to get enough people to vote-kick, and when they do, HE JUST JOINS BACK! A lot of people don't even know where the vote-kick option is (had to explain it to quite a few). The tker's always have a different name too since it is so easy to change. Please implement something similar to project argo that auto-kicks players to have more than two or three team kills, or even something that can ban repeat tkers. Right now, the server is unplayable! Please help!
  2. Hello everyone! Currently I am making a mission with the new arma 3 Jets assets. The mission is mainly foccused on the Jet DLC, but can also be played without it! The mission is 90% finished but the last things I need is some voice acting. In the mission there are 2 characters wich talk. I can speak english but not very solid. I can voice over 1 character, but It would be really nice if someone who can speak a little english helped me out. I only need like 10 sentences for the voice over.   4. Hi, I have a MP PvP system where I display a Timer at the top left of the screen. Problem : When the mission ends, and outro is launched, Timer is not at 00:00:00 for everyone. some are 15s early, some are late etc ... all players are not synced ! Here is how it works : What it looks like ingame (Video example) : When the players exits the Weapon Menu : Null = [] execVM "timer.sqf"; Timer script be like : description.ext in my Mission, outro.sqf is activated by a trigger : Many thanks for all the help I can get !   5. Hello Bohemia Community; I recently ran into a really confusing and frustrating issue with Arma 3 servers, and I'm hoping for some potential insight. What's happening is that, when I connect to certain servers, the game loads into a place devoid of objects, terrain details, and even my own 1st/3rd person character model; the only things that I can see are the grass and the terrain color/texture itself (I've attached some image links). I'm absolutely certain that these images are not in debug areas too. I've connected to a good variety of servers with the same sort of outcome. Here is a small list of servers I experienced this issue: Trailerpark Wasteland on Tanoa (A3 Wasteland Version 1.3B) BIB Wasteland (A3 Wasteland Version 1.3C) BFC Exile Esseker US #2 EXP Exile Chernarus EXP Exile Napf However, to make it more confusing, these results are rather inconsistent. For instance, I can load into an A3Armory (runs A3 Wasteland Version 1.3C) hosted server, and everything would load in fine: I see buildings, terrain details like rocks and underbrush, trees, etc., vehicles, weapons, and my character model. As potential fixes to this problem, I've tried: Reverifying my game cache of Arma 3 on Steam A clean reinstall of the game itself A clean reinstall of my game mods Isolating mods reported to have issues (a Steam forum page noted that the "CUP Terrain - Maps" mod specifically had this rendering issue - the forum suggested the "Auto Detect" button in the Arma 3 video settings, but that didn't work). I'm unsure of what else I could possibly do, and so now I turn to a community that knows much more than me, at least. I hope to hear back from those of you who could possibly help.   6. Hello all, so I've got a ported Cobra with a hellfire missile on its rails, i fire the missile and it fires just fine. Problem is the proxy doesn t disappear, it stays on the rail, and i cant for the life of me figure out how to make it disappear. Any ideas? I'm pretty sure its a config issue... or a model.cfg one. Id be happy to post either once somebody gives me a solid idea. thanks

  8. Hello guys and girls, I just want this to be brief. I've been a part of the Arma community for some time now and I've recently gained the opportunity to run my own group. I have been in a few groups over the years, some up to 3 years, I left those groups either out of boredom with the mission structure, personal conflicts within, or I didn't mesh with the people involved. Charlie Command was created by 4 guys: James, Nuttle, Jakeen(me) and Ironduke from our Arma 2 days. We split up for some years and we bounced around different groups and tried to find our niche. When it was all said it done, we recently linked back up and felt we have the knowledge and no-how to run our own group now. We pride ourselves on being laid back guys, the issue with most of the groups we were involved with was that so many people in one group it's hard to build a relationship when you meet a new guy every other day. With CC we are aiming for a more smaller(25 at most), cohesive urban combat scenarios instead of the traditional military force. We will force on police drug raids, hostage situations and sometimes the use of tanks to clear area. I've used Enhanced Movement in the past but I recently downloaded it through Steam Workshop, for some reason I keep getting this error below.   10. I guess someone has solved this problem in the past, but i've been looking for in google and in this forum, and I've not been able to fix this problem. I'm aware that the normal ARSENAL doesn't allow faces, voices and insignias, so I decided to add a virtual arsenal to an NPC in my base in my dedicated server. The problem is that the insignias tab is completely empty, as well as the faces and voices one. I read in another topic that I need a config file of some kind, but didn't quite get it right. I find this strange as well from BI. If you want to desing the arsenal and the virtual arsenal, why just removing the trhee tabs that makes different the VA? Thanks a lot guys! I'm pretty sure there is a very easy way to fix this, but I couldn't find something useful in the Internet..-
  11. Good evening. I've been attempting to make my own little missions for a few friends and myself, except that I've recently encountered a slight issue. I've been trying to add Grumpy Old Man's variable loadout script to my own mission. Unfortunately, it seems to conflict with another script already in the mission. The scripts I'm using are varied, but all the mission files are attatched, both prior to the addition of the new script, and after. I'm not sure what the problem is, wether I installed it wrong, or perhaps something else, but I have a hunch that the script is conflicting with the ASOR vehicle selection script. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=28105 I can report that when I select the mission in the server mission select screen, this error message pops up. It states that its modified, but that was simply a modification of the name itself, and would be removed once its fixed. I'm new to this, so simple, step by step instructions may be required.   13. Hello, the last update ruined the game experience completly, the disadvantage for people who play King of the Hill and are not playing with premates is now incredible big. The AA has to lock on again everytime one rocket was shot, the rockets hit even less than before, the new radar is not showing the right symbols and you cant see shit on it. The Tanks got no rangefinder? You cant lock on to enemy tanks? Where is the sense? Why do you downgrade the game? Why is the Minimap now on the otherside of the screen while driving a normal tank? Why cant you move it? What the hell is going on with the camera while flying chopper in 3rd person?? why cant you leave it as it was, now you need VR and a Headtracker to fly proper? Im angry and slowly but surely im losing the believe in this game and the dev's. Explanation would be great
  14. Hey first time posting on here so please forgive me if I don't supply all the information needed! Recently I've been making a team vs team mission that is based on the rush gamemode from battlefield games, but I've come across an issue when testing it on a dedicated server that has pretty much made it impossible to resume without having to restart everytime somebody joins. I'm using the RespawnTemplates: Menuposition and MenuInventory, I've set the inventory in the description and I've got revive working, but whenever somebody joins in progress they get stuck on the map screen with no menu to allow them to choose a position or a loadout. Either i'm doing something silly for this to occur or I've came across a bug but I've tried Reddit with no replies and I've tried searching on google for countless hours with no success of a solution. The players I've had join say they can only see the map screen, they have physically spawned at the respawn location - once killed they are able to actually see the menu.. I'm sorry if this has already been solved, I only took a quick look at the forums to see if anything resembled my error but it's something I've been trying to fix now for about 2 weeks and I'm still having no luck with Reddit or Google. I've tried looking at respawnonstart -1; I've even removed respawnonstart and it actually started working slightly.

I already tried diffrents solution which were: - Using %20 instead of a space - Using _ instead of a space - Surrounding the name with " - Surrounding the name with ' - Using a real space All those solutions did not work so, has anybody here an idea how I can solve this?

  19. Whenever I try to join my own server with BattlEye enabled, I get kicked. I'll be connecting to the server and then be kicked for script restriction #0 or #22. These are the logs What do these mean? Is there a way to fix it?
  20. Hello. I currently developing a coop mission with cutscenes and have 1 problem here. If camera change position, I want that all textures of objects were already loaded (houses, roads and etc..). I used this: preloadCamera. But looks like it doesn't work. Anybody know the solution how to preload the textures, before the camera change it's position..? This command, preloadCamera, there is no detailed description how it works. I don't know for how long it preloads textures and if they stay loaded even after camera change again it's position..? -_-
  21. I was making a mission where a base in under attack and a group of about 20 men (all in hunters) are on there way to reinforse it. The enemies come in via air trasnport and when the ai see them they all stop and dismount. I tired making the AI careless but when I do that they just get out of the hunters at the start and barly even move. I have tried locking the hunters and that does not work either. Please help!

If you go to your arma 3 achievements and scroll all the way to the bottom, you will see an achievement that has the icon +1 with the title "1 hidden achievement remaining" and with the description "Details for each achievement will be revealed once unlocked". Any help would be grateful.
  23. Hey guys i have recently purchased a Arma 3 50 slot Server with the Iron Front IFA3 mod and i have noticed that the server is crashing at random times and dont know the issue. And would like someone with experience to put their hand in with the problem I have noticed people that currently have a server do not have that problem i dont know if i am using the wrong type of addons or what if someone could help me with this or take a look at the problem that would be great its frustrating having 20+ players playing and then it randomly crashes while in the middle of game. I'm building a multiplayer mission using ALiVE, ACE, and some other mods, which is intended to be a big 3 way factional battle, with BLU_F and OPF_F to be playable while leaving IND_F unplayable as the initial occupying force to be conquered. So far so good, still tweaking some of the objective modules and taors for balance, but I already have the support and logistics all functioning well thanks to lots of reading and studying of wikis. I can call in artillery and airstrikes just fine, and so on. I must admit, however, that I'm not a very good scripter and I often have to look up how others have done things in order to figure out something. My understanding of it, in regards to everything from syntax to eventhandlers is very very limited, so thanks in advance to this great, very knowledgeable community. So here's my question: I currently have players spawn in solo, ungrouped to any AI, but I want the player to have the option, with a radio command, to spawn a group of their choosing (one of the presets from the cfgGroups list I suppose), and have it join them under their command. As a second feature, when the unit the character is playing dies I would like the player to have the ability to respawn in the group, taking control of one of the other AI in his squad, which I generally already know how to set up IF the units are already set to be "playable" (respawn = 4; in description.ext), but have no idea how to set up if we spawn them ingame as initially unplayable AI. I have no idea how to do this. I have tried other options, such as just linking an unplayable group to the player in the editor, or even making all the units in the group playable for selection, but I ran into various issues, such as not being able to command the group if I selected a unit other than the leader to play from the lobby (obviously) or just having too many units spawning all over waiting for another player to join in order to command them all, or if I want to play ungrouped I'd have all these hangers on. All these issues I felt severely limited my options and I was getting rather frustrated. I finally decided, that for what I want to do, giving an initially solo player the chance to choose a group to command or none at all would be a fun option for the player and lead to a great range of diverse outcomes for how they want to experience the mission. Please bear with me and my lack of knowledge in this, and any help that leads to a solution is greatly appreciated.
