We are a realism-based, mature team that functions primarily as US Army Special Forces ODAs. We are a community of people who enjoy working together and recreating the intensity of combat without the onus of having to role-play military rank and courtesies in and out of the game (commonly called mil-sim). The 5th SFG operates its training and missions on Eastern Time (North America) GMT -5, Fridays at 2000 EST (training and live fire), and Saturdays at 2000 EST (campaign missions). We may have other missions and training sessions during the week, but most members get together at our set times. Our tactics are based on real-world training documents and videos as well as our own experience in the virtual battlefield. We train, not like some units do where they want you to memorize Army ranks and such, but how you can become a vital part of your ODA and perhaps even lead an A-team yourself someday. The 75th Ranger Regiment is the U.S. Army's premier light infantry unit, with specialized skills that enable the Regiment to perform a variety of missions. These include direct action raids, airfield seizure, special reconnaissance, personnel recovery, clandestine insertion, and site exploitation. The 9th Combined Ranger Battalion places a strong emphasis on versatility and combat readiness under any circumstance. Like standard Ranger Battalions, 9th CRB establishes light infantry at its core. As a combined unit, however, several supporting elements are attached. These include Artillery, Aviation, Scouts, and Special Forces. 3. MISSION STATEMENT. The 9th Combined Ranger Battalion will strive to provide its members with an entertaining, challenging, and memorable experience within a welcoming and professional environment. Members will be held to the highest of standards, though never to include unnecessary components. Operational realism is a key ingredient in milsim, but it shall never occur at the expense of having fun. 4.OPERATION CAMPAIGN / SIDE OPERATIONS. Main operations are hosted on Saturdays at 1700 PST. All operations begin with a detailed power point intel brief. This is followed by a multi-phase battle with unique objectives which, over several weeks, follows a dynamic and detailed story line. A NEW Arma 3 Unit, SEAL Team 9 Mission Statement Our Mission statement here at SEAL Team 9 is to create a realistic and fun military gaming environment for all involved we call it chillsim. We're organized, friendly and do not discriminate against color, sex, race or creed, and teach and utilize military tactics to simulate a SEAL Team while skipping out on some full scale milsim aspects. In game, seriousness and maturity will be expected of course. Our trainings and missions are designed to incorporate technical skills, and challenge the team as a whole. Currently we play custom co-op scenarios on Arma 3 utilizing the power of ALiVE, VCOM, Zeus and select mods. Our unit allows players internationally the opportunity to participate in operations that scale from Casual to Realism and offers players an authentic experience through the Arma 3 sandbox. Entrance Pipeline We have a four phases, 1st being Application and Orientation 2nd being Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) 3rd being a Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape course (SERE) and 4th being SEAL Qualification Training course (SQTs) that goes over the basic skills you’ll need to know to operate in this unit. Depending on how much you know, the training can be very easy and quick. It is designed to accommodate all skill levels. Aviation Our aviation elements are 160th SOAR and 358th. We use a variety of airframes for our operations. The training pipeline is a simple flight school to ensure our pilots are proficient with all airframes. Billets We offer billets that are in a real SEAL Team such as the following. Each billet requires training to be qualified in the job. The courses are generally short, but teach the necessary skills to perform the job. We also recently open our sniper section for application. TASK FORCE 316 TF316 is a fictional multi-national coalition of Special Forces from the EU and USA, assembled to defeat the enemies of NATO wherever they may be. This multi-national coalition provides a wide range of operational scenarios, equipment and tactics which when blended together creates the ultimate tool in NATO’s arsenal. The GU (Gaming Unit) is built to conduct special operations – be that in the deserts of Takistan, the forests of Chernarus or the mountains of Altis. We specialise in reconnaissance and intelligence gathering, counter-terrorism and direct action against high-level targets. We typically run these as groups of operations in a particular theatre as an operational deployment. Our mission is to emulate the NATO Task Force 88, with techniques and tactics whilst working alongside the game engines limitations. We are a brand new casual European gaming community with the focus on just casual public gaming. Mainly focussed on Battlefield (4) games, besides we play games such as: PUBG, Rainbow Six Siege, Arma 3 and much more! Our goal is to become a succesfull laid back and mature platoon with active players from all over Europe. During casual game nights it will all be about having a good time with the other members of our platoon. When we have wars we tend to be more serious and a little try hard, we will play in squads with someone from higher command as leader. We will have one event per week and one or two trainings. Comprehensive Modset—We play an extremely modified version of ArmA 3 that contains weapons and equipment that covers various conflicts and eras. Strong Tactical Focus—For the most part, our community tries to play missions as realistically as possible with a strong emphasis to team-work and real-world tactics.
