Mr T. Ingle

Assaye was the scene of a famous battle that occurred in 1803 and resulted in a decisive victory for the British forces, led by Arthur Wellesley 1769 - 1852, who would later become the Duke of Wellington. It is 40 miles north-east of Aurangabad.
