This is awesome, great work!

This is looking interesting! Is that a Norwegian camouflage colour palette on a Swedish splinter camo pattern?

Awesome map, huge fan of larger, more flat forest and field terrain and this hits a great spot now that I'm looking for something where we can utilize vehicles and infantry. Did a bit of scenic driving as well;

I'd be happy to help with just about anything regarding information, I am mostly well versed in the Army portion of the Norwegian Armed Forces, but can easily find references and information from people who are former and currently serving in our community. We also have two in-house modders who mainly deals with vehicles and some gear and textures, I'll see if they're up for contributing.

It's hard not to get hyped for this, but I can see you got your stuff right, this reminds me so much of the training area outside the base I served for a year and just love seeing all the details, like the armoured ranges with gravel trails all over. This looks like some solid work! -

Wondering if there's a possibility to not have wrecks in the prep-areas like on the last image? For communities that might base their training there etc, it could be helpful to have space like that free'd up for placing of vehicles etc! Otherwise it looks splendid, can only reiterate my previous statement that this will definitely be welcomed with great enthusiasm with my folks, keep up the awesome work! -

That's a shame, hopefully we can do the map justice when our Leopard is done and can test it out whenever the map is ready -

That looks sick, I presume it's a Dutch or German based model? -

Awesome work so far, our community is currently finishing a Leopard 2A4NO for the dlc and I can't wait to do testing on this map, following for sure! -
This is so awesome! Seeing as you're doing Bundeswehr(?) vehicles etc, I presume a Leopard 2 variant may be in the works? Pardon if this has been answered before. Big fan of vehicle warfare and this coming up alongside the tank DLC not being far out brings me great joy!

This feature is really needed for running operations with vehicle crews. Over longer periods it gets really tiresome for the gunner having to continuously turn the turret the way the chassis is directed when he is turned in and nothing is going on. There should definitely be a way to lock the turret at 12-o-clock.

Tanks - tracked vehicles driving and handling
Peter S replied to oukej's topic in ARMA 3 - DEVELOPMENT BRANCH
Is it possible to get 'incremental speed control' for Vehicles and tracked vehicles esepcially in terms of this DLC like you have on Fixed wing aircraft and AFM for Helicopters? It is incredibly frustrating to drive and use the vehicle with other vehicles in a formation or in general when you are technically incapable of setting a desired speed for the vehicle without humping the gass or resorting to undesirable mods. This could also make it easier to use pedals and/or XboX controllers where you get only a fraction of 100% speed when only pushing the button/pedal down slightly. -
Tank Interiors are far more important than most features if you ask me, especially when playing as an MBT/IFV or armoured crew member in general. A lot of the Milsim community in my experience thrive on immersion and realism, and as a passionate armoured-enthusiast with personal experience I am finding the biggest detriment to playing missions as a part of an armoured crew is the lack of interior models, and that especially for the driver. Since the driver on most vehicles won't be able to be turned out when the Turret is in use, it is in my opinion mandatory that the driver at least has a 3d interior so that he may move his head around and have more to look through than just a square window surrounded by an abyss of depressing black, which quickly makes the drivers job immensely less immersive and far too boring during lulls in the battle. Commanders can usually turn out and interiors for him isn't as necessary considering he should be able to use optics while turned in. For gunners it is much the same, but I hope for a feature to 'lock' the Turret's current position, so that when the tank is moving through urban terrain or out of combat, the gunner doesn't have to turn his turret all the time to force it the same direction of the hull. There should be a way to lock the turret in a position relative to the hull in the 360 degrees left and right.

Project ASTFOR - Astelandic Armed Forces
Peter S replied to PTV-Jobo's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
That's pretty cool! We're currently in the process of getting CV9030N's (Pre-2016 - MK.I/II) for our own community, and the vehicle holds a special place in my heart as a former Dragoon. Looking forward to see the progression on your mod, and especially vehicles as it is my kind of niché and the familiarity of it all. Can't recall if I read you had settled on an MBT (or aim to do an MBT for ASTFOR), but I presume that will be a Leopard 1 or 2 Variant?- 657 replies

ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread
Peter S replied to max power's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Looking for a modder/modders who would be interested in creating a Norwegian Leopard 2A4 and/or CV9030N IFV. BWMod, FFAA and SFP aren't sufficient for our use, especially since most of these rely on dependencies which makes using 1 vehicle require most of the mod and/or clutter the Arsenal with unwanted items, and the vehicles there being incorrect in terms of Norwegian equipment. -
