Predator C "Avenger" Jet-Powered UAV - Work in progress
broduz replied to church's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
yeah man ...and plus, let church at least get this one out before you start asking for more -
Stonebridge, I agree with you, COA 3 is a superb option. However I, respectfully, recommend using COA 2 during your initial release phases. it will keep things simple and allow us to give you some quick feedback on an already great project!! Great work BTW :)

KetsuCorp: General Equipment Addon Release (GEAR)
broduz replied to ketsucorp's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hey KetsuCorp! just wondering if you could provide some insight on what you meant by.... :) Thank you for your awesome work! -
I agree with everything except the part about MX mags. Also, would be nice to see BIS put together a few new pouch configurations for the CAGE; placing the sidearm holster horizontally across the front of the Plate carrier now that they have added handgun visualization

+1 to this, chest rigs, and new marksman armor (w/ shoulder pads) Also, I'm fairly certain KetsuCorp already included slash bandoliers... -

Toadie's SmallArms and Animations for Arma3
broduz replied to toadie2k's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure Mr. Toadie was just going to work on his list in order of priority. Not that I am trying to speak for him but I don't believe any firm dates were set; after all, they'd be in my calendar if they were lol -

KetsuCorp: General Equipment Addon Release (GEAR)
broduz replied to ketsucorp's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I disagree lol -
Say, Mr. RH, now that you have taken on the Mk18 pack from Ardy would you be willing to add AFG to your M4/M16 pack and even VFG to M203S? ---- Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to make your weapons that are equipped with M203s to be represented in the character's Grenadier icon. Same for the Mk11, Mk12 and SR25 with the Crosshair icon?
-
Agreed!! That would turn any Black Wasp Pilot into a battlefield overlord! Definitely bringing a ton of value added to both SP and MP modes.

Is there any fix (be it command combo or addon) to fix squad AT AI ?
broduz replied to almaniak's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Vanilla A3 AI isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. You just need to think about how you want to maneuver your squad/team through terrain depending on your intent. In this case, I'd recommend utilizing the "hold fire" command then select only your AT rifleman; get him to "target" the enemy armor; then "engage"; then "fire". This will ensure that the AI is using the appropriate weapon for its target and the hold fire order is removed with the final command. Also, not to insult your intelligence, but make sure you're not using any mods that affect AI. -
KetsuCorp: General Equipment Addon Release (GEAR)
broduz replied to ketsucorp's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
 Foreshadowing like George R.R. Martin lol -
AFAIK ... pretty sure Mr. RH was planning on tackling his SCAR pack after he's done with the Mk18 pack...
-
ahhh thank you!
-
Really?!?!....well everyone is entitled to their opinions :p but I doubt the AAF will be represented in TANOA at all. So maybe the Strider is totally out of the scope of BIS?
-
That is an amazing find!!! :D
-
All things taken into consideration, I'm sure BIS will put TANOA together quite nicely for its actual release. For that, I have confidence and faith in their ability. I do, however, hope they take into account the "operational implications" that this new terrain is going have on the community with regards to the effective deployment of technical assets. i.e. tanks, aircraft etc. IMHO, what BIS should include in this expansion: -Waypoint order to dismount from Helos via fast roping/rappelling (to deploy ground forces in forested areas with thick canopy) -Different variants of the MRAP Hunter, to include Medical, Ammunition Stores, Repair Equipment, and Troop-Lift (as tanks will likely have difficulty traversing TANOA -New protective equipment Medium Weight Ballistic Helmets that still provide ballistic protection (suitable for SOF IF that is the direction they take) -Additional naval assets, such as a and -Attack Helicopter Variations for the Blackfoot (as Attack Helicopters will likely be more effective with the new terrain and its intensely undulating ground

"a content pack built around Tanoa. With weapons, and vehicles....etc..." Well hopefully they include an aircraft carrier to increase the number of airports available in game lol but on a serious note, the M2A1 Slammers aren't going to be that effective. Perhaps the Hunter will be the biggest vehicle that will be able to traverse the actual land mass of Tanoa. Hopefully they include some variations of the Hunter then...
