what is very sad, that alot of players dont even care. i talk about those who watching youtube videos about arma 3 life, then seeing the video like from psisyndicate where he talks about the legal violations, then some watchers think "i dont care" and then start to donate and playing arma 3 life. also what is sad, that psisyndicate who are aware of this problem, still play this mod and still uploading videos of it.
i wrote under some german lets plays that they should stop playing it or atleast stop promoting the mod, then i got answers like "and ? nobody cares" etc.. very sad.

Yes, steel melts at that point. Towers collapse under their own weight.
yup i have and talked with them. they agree that it gets super hot, but they disagree that a fire can cause the COMPLETE collapse of a steel building. it can happen that the top of the building fall to the ground, but not cause the full collapse, especially when the building UNDER the hitzone is intact. we are talking about steel buildings, dunno how it is with other buildings, but firefighters are no architects or engineers. for technical questions, we should better ask architects, engineers (which already over 1700 agree that it was collapsed due to explosions not due to fire).
oh and btw, firefighters who were on the WTC disagree with the "fire caused collapse" story ;)

Massive peaceful demonstrations of people against the Russian puppet Yanukovich, that he ordered to crush with excessive violence which lead to him fleeing the country and abandoning all responsibilities.Then the Ukrainian democratically elected parliament voted to remove him from power according to the right the Constitution gave them. Out of the blue groups of organized militia mean leaded by Russians from Moscow took a lot of police stations and town halls in the Donbas basin, suddenly all kinds of Russian military equipment appeared magically in the pro-Russian side, also a lot of "volunteers" from Russia ( a lot of them Russian soldiers "on holidays" ).
So how can that be securing the borders? That is creating havoc, that is pure expansionism, Putin acts as if Ukraine was his property.

a little bit in detail: they spread the same bullshit like CNN, BBC that they are the good and USA doesnt make any mistakes and ukraine government (the current gov.) is good and that the ukraine government doesnt kill theyr own people (the media doesnt report about it) and and and.. im glad the internet is there so we can talk to people who are in the crisis area and thanks to the internet these people can report and post about whats really going on directly from the crisis area etc which the media wont report.

i run win8.1 and first i didnt liked it, but after some times you get used to it and now im really fine with win8.1, but too bad that some games arent compatible with win8.1 for example gta IV doesnt work for me. other than that, its very nice :)
but the really annoying thing with win8.1 is: skydrive.
there was a problem for me when i started the laptop everytime, the window of skydrive opened immediatly after my laptop reached the desktop after starting and the skydrive window wont close + the button "cancel" didnt worked. i had to type a command to remove the window on every start but after a certain time, the problem was solved after a windows update was installed, the window of skydrive worked and was closed immediatly.

well, i dont get any FPS drop while dropping bombs or calling a jet via ZEUS, i dont think this is a FPS problem.
if i select stratis in editor, empty map (only me as player and zeus module) and calling jet, only the jet stutter/lag, the FPS doesnt decrease and everything else runs fine during the jet flying, there is no single FPS drop, the stutter affects only the jet. same when i fly a jet myself and dropping a bomb, only the bomb stutter while flying/dropping to the ground, everything else runs fine without a single FPS decrease during the bomb drop.
oh and when i fly myself a jet, the jet does not stutter, the jet fly smooth.
maybe something animation related ?

when i call jets via zeus fire support, the jets "lags" while flying even if the FPS is decent, even on empty stratis map with no units.
same when dropping bombs with jet, the bombs "lags" while flying to the ground, anyone noticed it ?

hello, as most of you know, arma 3:life broke many EULA´s including from other companies/games by porting content from other games and stealing other arma 3 addons, claim it as theyr own work and make money with it (link: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?184772-Legal-violations-by-A3L-Arma-3-life)
im interest to know how much this affected the community already and im sure others are interested too, so my question to all modders out there:
would you still release your addons/mods/scripts etc to the public ?

- Yes, but i wont give permission so easy anymore and i will strongly license my work
- No, since the case with a3:life, i stopped modding for arma 3
- No, but i still modding arma 3 myself and make private mods/addons/projects
- Maybe, depents how the case with a3:life goes out, if it can be avioded in the future and if BI, the community etc care.

Sorry i didnt clarify like i did in my more recent posts. I meant to say that they are claiming to replace the stolen content with original content.i think this will never happen but still if they decide the replace the content with original ones, it doesnt change the fact that they used stolen content before and profit with them, they still need to pay for this.

what i want to see in the expansion ?
- more futuristic NATO assets (futuristic m1a1, futuristic apache, futuristic f-16 fighter, futuristic tornado jet, some futuristic european equipment since its a NATO faction, it should not use only US/Israeli assets)
- more futuristic CSAT assets (futuristic t90, su-47 berkut, futuristic mi17, futuristic russian/chinese equipment inlcuding ground vehicles, weapons etc like above)
- new terrain(s) something more in big cities (minihattan project is a example, the guy did an awesome job)
- new civilian assets and more different civilian character models
- cargoplanes
- more sea stuff like destroyer, bigger submarines etc (BI never gave the sea role so much love in arma)
- ABC warfare (atomic, biological, chemical weapons)

I have followed the A3L community since they posted their first video in August 2013.At one point, I was an active member of the community and even rose to a "Support Team" member in their community. Soon after, I was kicked off the support team for "trash talking" how the administration handled their business within the community.
Although I do not agree with all of their actions when it comes to managing the community, I do not think there needs to be legal action taken against them. Yes, they did "steal" some things but they give every single person credit for their work. Its not like theyre saying "we made this and we own it" no. They gave tonic the credit for the framework and all their "pistol packs" etc that they use were gotten from places like armaholic (where content creators encourage people to implement their work into the game)
And now for their donation system, I am not going to say that I agree with the who "donate to get in" aspect of the community, but it seems like they have bohemia interactive's support on the situation. As for me, I havent done all my research to decide whos "right" in this whole thing. But i do know one thing--They NEED to get of Tonic's framework. (which they are in the process of doing)
