Taken from the official rulesSubmission of Entries will be closed on 28th October 2014 at 12am (GMT+1).
Well my understanding from that must mean it only has to be submitted (which it has been) not released at that time, I mean the fact of having the voting system available before anything is released is a sign of that since we have all submitted our vote based on pictures not from playing with the actual content. So from my assessment it doesn't mean they have to release it now (even-tho that would be great).

Background
This mod's purpose is to add additional content for special forces operators (primarily United States Army Special Forces) since MARSOC and other SOF units seem to be getting attention from other mod-makers. My intention is to create one piece of "content" at a time and release it once it's in working order then move onto the next, this is a system I want to use in-order to not become overwhelmed with modelling and working on so much "stuff" that I burn myself out. Hopefully this turns out to be a great mod and since I only started to learn 3d modelling 3-4 days ago I believe my skills will only get better over time with the guidance of you, the fellow arma community members.

Well its not certain what his texture quality is set at either, but regardless I think it's perfectly fine the way it is.

The interior is that way so if the enemy gets the jump on the vehicle and opens up the back, all you have to do is spiderman yourself onto the walls and voila, you've concealed yourself effectively from the sight of said enemy. :cool:

I love all the variations of mods out there and that most modders think outside the box to create amazing content and the fact that I love the most is I can pick and choose what I want to use. Without these persons I would not be playing this game which is hard to imagine since I've been playing these games (OFP and the Arma Series) since 2003 and I've never looked back. So I salute the men (and women if there are any) of this community who put hours and hours of work and ideas together to give us amazing content which is sometimes breathtaking and without these modders creating content which is outside of the box and nonconformist, I believe has allowed the game itself to expand in content and mechanics among many other things.
Oh and there are no "specialised style-guidelines".
End rant.

Just to go OT for a quick sec... "Lukáš Veselý, The Associate Producer on Arma 3, suggested in an interview for HerniMag magazine that Arma 4 could be released in 2017. On the other hand he also mentioned that it is just a speculation. He also said that he is pretty sure that the sequel will be produced in future as ARMA series "still proves to be a strong brand and a viable project and we will take care of her." - Wiki. They just might attempt recruiting mr Silola here and his team to get this XCam as a feature for ArmA4 :rolleyes:

Just a question and my apologies in advance if this has been answer previously but with these walls and construction pieces, will they have the ability to have other textures applied to them? for example I want the outside of the wall to have a concrete texture applied to it and the inside just to stay as shown in your images?

Well clarification on what actually had to be submitted with the application or the mods it self the 28th would of been great but honestly I have no idea, I'm purely just speculating. So hopefully submission does mean they have to release today.
