    I believe Ard is working on porting over his 2Commando's from pictures I've seen in the screenshots thread plus there are pictures of the M4 B2 with the 203 in a few screens sabre posted, so rest ashore he's still soldering away with these bad boys as well as the commando's which I can't wait to get my hands on.

    We just can't keep up with the German requirements man, there genius is just so damn brutal. That being said I'm very much looking forward to playing with this LJ, I think the thing I'm looking forward to the most is a large scale battle in the rain, that shit would be amazingly intense, especially with these new rain sounds effects.

    Just a little update, Finally got this baby under 10,000 polys. Its ready to rock and roll, now I'm currently working on textures for both this and Master/Mister/Monster cat's vests so this will hopefully get done soon though I am a busy guy.

    Well I remember AAW doing something like that with there's where you could have a variety of interchanged stuff on a model via something, honestly I don't know how they did it, but I'm sure there's something that can be done.

    Actually your correct, I believe konyo did so with this MH47, that being able to change the flags inside or something. So yeah I'll certainly take a look at doing that. @Fluttershy - I can't say I have any idea how to bake, though even if I did the high poly model and low poly model are very different since I remake a lot of the plate carrier when bring the poly count down so I believe I'll have to add a lot of the normal mapping manually in photoshop.

    Mate I haven't even touched config work yet but as fluttershy said I could do it but if so it will mirror the same "patch" on the soldiers arm, so we will see I guess though I will be making a version of this with an australia flag regardless. From what I understand your asking why I'm not using the high-poly version? and if so my answer would be that originally from the images on previous pages, they are all high poly versions which amount to like 300,000 polys which is way outside arma's limits.

    So I finally got this bitch down to around 17,000 polys and kept quite a lot of its detail while doing so. UV mapping and Texturing is next.

    By all means it is 100% up to the person to do whatever they like in arma3 regarding missions/addons but just don't expect people from this community to support it, unless of course its 100% made from scratch and is something that's original not the same old stuff again and again. I remember when Sahrani Life came out, I use to play the shit out of that game but now-a-days the amount of copyright infringements and controversy surrounding life mods/missions its just ruined it completely IMO.

    Well first of all this is the wrong section to be posting this. If you want to create a whole new life mission then here the place you want (http://forums.bistudio.com/forumdisplay.php?162-ARMA-3-MISSION-EDITING-amp-SCRIPTING) Though if you wanted to transfer tonics altis life to some other map then that goes against his(tonics) release clause copyright thing and you get in deep doo-doo I guess, well not really you just get a lot of hate on here. Regardless, you're better off spending the time working on a military mission, there's more of a payoff with this community then life missions are... though that's my opinion.
