  2. I got just the occasional birds chirping, something you're more likely to hear on altis than in a dense jungle.

    On the matter of wrong coloured LODs; I believe a part of the problem is the rather short shadow distance and I wish bohemia could find a way to render distant shadows without impacting performance too much.
  5. You have the binarized PBOs available, I'm guessing debinarizing/altering the models is still prohibited. Hopefully someone from BI could clear this up. Edit: Seems the data has the APL-SA license which means you can create adaptions of it for ArmA games, so I guess porting it to arma3 is possible?

    MQ-12 seems to be impervious to all light arms, including .50 BW Is this intentional? Also, the MQ-12 pilot doesn't get any HUD in 1st person.

  11. Got a bug with the campaign: https://a.pomf.cat/tffbbb.webm Loading east wind missions ends up loading prologue missions. Also, on rare occasions the main menu screen shows prologue campaign under the play button, when clicking on play the only campaign available is the prologue.
  12. I'd like to suggest a feature for the SDV; is it possible to make it use the raise/lower turret keys instead of an action for the periscope?

    Are we playing the same game? Have you tried flying a plane in multiplayer while relying on physx alone to handle your vehicle cargo?

    The decision was probably made due to what happens when a vehicle isn't locked into place with attachto; a big fireball. Anyway, I'd love to see boats configured for VIVT too:

    Is there a particular reason why the Caesar BTT gets a soft shadow while the rest of the expansion vehicles get hard shadows? Are there plans to resolve this inconsistency (which is also present with vanilla arma content)?

Edit: Shadows render incorrectly on bridge road surfaces, soft shadows render in poor resolution while hard shadows do not render at all: https://a.pomf.cat/kikfzr.webm (Look at the shadow quality on the bridge sidewalks compared to the road surface)

    The Type 115 .50 round seems really weak at hit = 8 putting it at the same level as a 5.56 round in damage. There's indirect damage too but it seems really unreliable and destroying (civilian) car tires can take anywhere from one to 4 rounds.
  20. EG Spectator doesn't seem to work for group/side/bird respawn types anymore, not quite sure about the other ones. Is this intended?

    Are the AI driving enhancements going to extend to naval vessels too? It's really hard to get AI naval transportation going when any AI venture near the coast usually ends with the AI getting themselves beached.
  23. Seems like license plates were fixed for vehicles spawned in Eden, still doesn't work for createVehicle sadly.

    Not sure if it's related directly to the visual upgrade, but the full sniper uniforms aren't affected by shadow at all. some animals like goats aren't either.

    Yeah I know about the current method, I was just thinking it'd be nice to have as a simplification and perhaps a small performance gain.
