  3. yep, me again. http://imgur.com/yaVPmoZ for some reason im not getting the s_xxx_007_lco files......only up to 006, so I get 'missing file' in pboproject.   4. yo, im getting this error now with rapify as I run pboproject. at the bottom of the binlog....     my a3\data\caustics\caustic anims only go from 0-30. not minus numbers or other large numbers that seem randomly generated. line 780 is generated from rapify. my config [from jakerod] goes up to number 138.

    well my images measured ok with the ruler but their size[width height] was .15 and .10! im now trying different sat height images of same area which display correct coverage ie enclosed area 105km2. going through the usual 1000 parameters to get past 'default sat not found blah blah' got it generating layers. 81 layers being generated........and its taking hours! never took this long before??

    22.In the width and height box type the size of your terrain (ex. a 1024 x 1024 height map with an 8m cell size would be a height and width of 8192) ok up to this, but my existing width and height are small, any box I put round them will be massive. thanx for the detailed explanation! http://imgur.com/WBQpYE3
  14. hi, is it possible to place very low poly buildings/basic textures in game as like place holders? I havnt got a terrain in game yet! but I was thinking about designing rough outlines to see how they would sit on sloping terrains etc.

    well I sussed that one chaps with continuous tweaking of tile size and texture layer in samplers, I got a setting that didn't flash. :) problem I have now is that my [real]sat and height images don't line up exactly, hence some land underwater etc. ive tried using global mapper but I cant get both images on screen. one always disappears! I know that this is due to layer projection which ive tried in UTM lat/lon settings with the same result. how would you crop/line up images? thanx for your help.

  17. yeah, it seems to work when it wants to. :mad: I have a sat image of 25025x15025 and a heightmap the same size. gridsize: 4096 cell size: id like this as small as poss [6.1 gives me the terrain size] now no matter what combo of mask and texture layer size I use its either 'bad texel' or 'sat image doesn't exist'!! ive recently re-installed tools and used mikeros arma3p so everything is setup right. [ I was getting image to paa errors before, invalid args. this project worked before [generated layers] sat and height are both .tiff images. im nearly at the point of punching fuck out of the monitor with these errors :936: any suggestions pleeeeeze!
  18. ive switched to a [slightly] smaller project now. I generated layers ok, png to paa all went ok. but in bulldozer I have flashing textures. the sat image shows ok, albeit a bit blurred. I don't have a mask yet ill add it once sat image showing correct.
  19. done that mate. tried every combination of the bottom 2 parameters. edit: I didn't rebuild each attempt as it was green ticked if that makes any difference?
  20. thanx for help mate :) well both images are 25025x15025, shall I resize these to square them up? I was under the impression that if your grid size wrapped your image it was ok?? I tried 4096x4096x6 24576x24576 resolution 1 then each of the other parameters but still got 'sat image doesn't exist' im trying to do a map of the isle of wight, hence the stretched images. shall I resize images to 24576?

    your sat images are corrupted, probably not the cause of crashing though.

    that's a lovely shot of a pond, badly needed in arma 3..as are rivers, railways. arma 3's taken a [big] step backwards regarding these.
