I've been playing Arma II, Arma II OA and DayZ Mod for years and years. I've never had any issues I could never fix myself without asking for help. All of the sudden one day my Arma II OA broke and I did everything to fix it. Eventually I gave up and decided I'll take a break from the game itself and I'll come back to it later. I recently installed a new Hard drive that is totally new and clean straight off the shelf. I installed Arma II on steam, than ran it to it's Main Menu and then exited. I installed Arma II OA on steam and tried to run it, however a command prompt comes up (goes away very quickly) and then another command prompt opens saying "Failed to Launch Game." I've searched but I couldn't find anybody with similar issues. I really need tech support or my game is totally unplayable (that I purchased from Steam, (combined ops)). If you have any questions, suggestions or information, please post it here! It'd be appreciated very much! Also, I am running the games off of Steam and I have Windows 8.
Steps I've Tried:
1. I've tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling it to no avail.
2. I've tried cleaning out my registry of Arma OA and Verifying the Game Cache
3. I've tried running in compatibility mode and as administrator.

UPDATE: I can run ARMA 2 OA without battle eye, so that's the issue. Any tips?
DOUBLE UPDATE: I can run the Beta version, and I can also run DayZ with the beta version, however I can't join a server because the message "Patch 1.62 is available." I still can't run ARMA 2 OA with Battle eye or DayZ. I also installed battle eye successfully apparently. Whenever I uninstalled/reinstalled and ran the game for the first time, I had a command prompt open;
