Hello chaps. I've just updated the opening post with links to a new version, 1.60. This fixes the keybinds-not-saving bug, adds compatibility for ACE3 and allows PtH during Zeus curator interface.
-
It's not part of the addon itself, rather a script written to make use of its API. A link has been posted in this thread a while back, happy searching :)
-
Thanks for the report. I had the same issue back at the beginning with AGM_Hearing so I suspect it's very similar code in ACE3. I'll take it up with their team.

If you are using one of the templates that include a dategenerated node, or something to that effect, remove it and see if it helps. Our server rpt was reporting warnings when reading the XML file and none of the patches were being displayed. The 1.44 changelog mentioned stricter parsing of the XML file to avoid abuse. I just made sure any node names not defined in the official schema were removed and it resolved the problem.

large [SP/MP][COOP] Patrol Operations - Official Thread
A.Cyprus replied to roy86's topic in ARMA 3 - USER MISSIONS
Good news indeed. roy86 are you taking applications for communities to help support the beta or hand picking them yourself? -
Yup, this has been reported. I'll resolve it soon as I can. Thanks for letting me know. Out if interest, which keys does everyone use? And do you use the toggle much or the single push button more?
-
I've experienced the same exact reproducible situation although I'm the only one in my unit with the problem. During our op last night I fixed it by rebinding my long range transmit primary and additional functions to Ctrl key combos.

Thanks all for hosting. Ive updated the opening post. PW6 has been updated too.

v1.5 Released. Opening post updated with details. Quick link via Dropbox, HERE.

Hello chaps. Firstly, apologies for letting development stagnate on my Push-to-Hear. I know I promised an update with new features ages ago. My attention has been directed elsewhere for a good few months. Secondly, I've just looking at the changes to the new CBA keybind system and a patched PTH version should be available hopefully tonight. Note: If you run PTH v1.41 + CBA RC6 you will not see any binding options in the key configuration dialogues, and the addon may likely not function properly.

Underwater Diving Module - Arma3
A.Cyprus replied to Feint's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Fantastic. Thanks for the comprehensive update, Feint. Hope you find the right balance to work on everything you enjoy and find interesting. As long as it's this mod :) -
Thanks guys, to all the chaps involved.

These are public forums, everybody is entitled to their views and opinions, as long as they express them sensibly with mutual respect. Their affiliation is secondary to how they conduct themselves. The fact that many seemingly pro A3L posters have shown themselves to be rude and immature without logic is a bonus, though it doesn't mean we should attack them in response. Fortunately supporters of this thread have many valid and documented arguments to use in such a response and I find it humorous that people can show up and mock these efforts when they have brought forward clear results so far. Perhaps not the ultimate end goal but certainly more significant results than many thought would be seen. Eggbeast, did you note my question earlier about the funds received?
-
@Eggbeast What/who was the source of the screenshot you posted documenting the $100K received so far? I've been doing my best to follow all posts here and stay current with the thread, so apologies if I've missed the obvious. Also, a polite question to MattLightfoot: My basic understanding of BIS involvement so far is that A3L was formerly found to be in breach of your EULA, told to cease by yourselves and when this was done to BIS satisfaction the case was closed without further action or penalty. BIS' current position is you can no longer intervene without solid proof of further and current breach of EULA. If this requirement was satisfied, are you able to share please what general action BIS would take? Would it simply be another cease order without penalty? Many thanks.

Arma Connect (Android Application for Arma 3)
A.Cyprus replied to firefly2442's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hello firefly2442 Thanks for your efforts in providing us with this innovative and useful addon/app. I finally got my hands on a newer Android phone and thus have been able to give this a try. Been a long time coming, and I'm impressed. Tested successfully on 4.4.4, (cm11 if that matters to you). It's simple to set up, the automatic scan-and-connect is a great mechanism and, as others have already said, the location updates on the app are seemingly instant and lag free. Having said that, I've only tried this in the editor so I'm not sure if a busy server would affect performance (I know it's clientside). If the world was my oyster, I'd have this as a fully blown BLUFOR tracker, a la cTab but given that my interest is purely focused on the gps/map perspective and I don't really like seafood, my potential wishlist would "simply" include the following: live scrolling of the map and automatic centering on the player marker as it moves* contour only map view, without textures grid markings display of map markers added in game by players (nice to have) *This would need a mechanism that allowed you to drag around the map too. Perhaps implement the scrolling/center-on feature as a toggle. Dragging manually would disable the toggle, you'd just need to tap a button again to re-activate. Many thanks once again. Good stuff! -

L_armFatigue - Because keeping your weapon raised is a bad idea!
A.Cyprus replied to laxemann's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Are you able to check for visibility of the display/dialog? -
try this unofficial workaround: Bind your "toggle" key to a CTRL or SHIFT combo, eg, CTRL+CAPS or CTRL+TAB. After you hold down the combo to transmit, let go of one key a bit before letting go of the other. This usually results in hot-mic'ing, or in your context a toggle. Possibly something to do with how cba key bind settings or just the key press event handlers in the engine work.

L_armFatigue - Because keeping your weapon raised is a bad idea!
A.Cyprus replied to laxemann's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Based on the description, it seems going prone reduces armFatigue and I expect crouching just depends whether weapon is raised or not. The question is, will any weapon resting be considered in the numbers? :) Nice idea, LAxemann, and as you say - definitely a Marmite thing! Edit: ignore me. Had the topic open for too long before I posted my reply. --------- Chopper / Jet / Vehicle too loud to hear comms? You need Cyprus Push-to-Hear! -
Nice idea. Has already been suggested and responded to not so many posts ago.
-
Yup? That's what nkey has suggested. He mentioned "alternate", which means "another key for the same action", which is different to "additional" (as in additional channel). Very similar words but different in the TFAR context.
-
Wow. Is there any information to confirm why?

Player looking for squad (not for squads to post looking for players!)
A.Cyprus replied to Placebo's topic in ARMA 3 - SQUADS AND FANPAGES
Depends on your schedule then. My group deploys every Wednesday and Saturday, gathering at 1830 UTC, mission start 1900 UTC. Ops usually last 3-4 hours. We are always open to sensible disciplined players, so if that suits you, feel free to shoot me a pm to have a chat. :)
