    UPSMON Updated to ArmaIII

@Cool=Azroul13 Thank you for taking it. I look forward to the corrected version. Just want to add this has been my go-to enemies script since I found it years ago. The ArmA 3 rendition is impressive as usual. Thank you.

    UPSMON Updated to ArmaIII

Hello. I am having a bug with the creategroup script. I am attempting to spawn a group from a radio trigger. When I activate the trigger, with debug enabled, I get a hint, "UPSMON: Unit not defined!" No units spawn. Here is the only section of the .rpt I could find related to UPSMON: 3:55:08 Error in expression < to _cnt do { _indx = floor random _rnd % _cnt; _el2 = _this select _indx; _this> 3:55:08 Error position: <% _cnt; _el2 = _this select _indx; _this> 3:55:08 Error Zero divisor 3:55:08 File C:\Users\Wayner\Documents\Arma 3\missions\Sourgao.saru\Scripts\UPSMON\COMMON\Core\fnc\UPSMON_arrayShufflePlus.sqf, line 20 And this is the trigger: _grp = [getmarkerpos "bieucp",EAST,[O_Soldier_F],[1,1],1,["bieucp","SAFE","COLUMN"]] call UPSMON_CreateGroup; "bieucp" is an ellipse over a town. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    HueyPack

Hi GrumpyRhino. I have been waiting for this mod since 2007. Thank you very much for your amazing armament subsystems and model tweaks. I especially enjoy the UH-1N, and would like to request the realization of my dream to be delivered on either of her side pylon mounts: Ideally with this sort of look, but I understand textures are difficult: http://www.vaq34.com/junk/UH-1N_USAF_69-6649_512RQS_JMelampy.jpg (276 kB) Best of luck. I look forward to the February update.

    Leights OPFOR Pack

Hi Leight. Just want to let you know that I nuked some ISIS before updating :). I support your creative work and have never even played as ISIS and never construed this mod to represent sympathy for those cunts. Personally, the logo doesn't mean much to me, though I doubt the ISIS kiddies hiding in their basements will update to 0.8. Blaming you for some religious extremist dumbasses using your mod would be like blaming FN for manufacturing the M16s ISIS got their hands on. I see your work as enhancing the Armaverse, nothing more, and I want to thank you for it. To this end I'd like to second Imperial_Pete's request for some ArmA 2 style Takistan Army regulars with FALs and the like. Thank you and good luck.

    DG British Armed Forces

That could be a conflict issue, soldierman. Both weapons are working fine for me, though the 20mm cannon is much more of an autocannon than a Gatling gun. Pretty sure that's intentional however.

Thank you so much for the HLC config. Great modding, Leight.

    Leights OPFOR Pack

I second the request for an HLC AK config, it would be very cool. Probably the only downside of this mod was that I expected to see RHS' AKs at least, which has mags compatible with HLC's AKs through a mod (since these are usually the AKs my clan is using).
  8. Very impressing yet again. I second the requests for some sharing with the Kimi's HMDs mod and more variations of the Land Rover, especially Australian and maybe Military Offroad Special sort of things.

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

RedPhoenix, thanks; sorry for the ancillary reporting. Also I somewhat second Flippy_rage's request for not so much a CSAR Blackhawk, but a CAS Blackhawk... http://www.guncopter.com/mh-60-dap/ GAU-19....M230....Hydras...:681:

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

I have searched but it seems this bug has not already been reported on this amazing mod, sorry if it has. Using version 0.3.0.1 available on Playwithsix, all Mi-24 variants deplete their fuel supply before the rotor makes a single rotation. Additionally, it seems to not have been reported that the M240B and M249 have unrealistically light belts.
  11. The crashes seem to occur when a certain number of modded things are on the map for a certain duration, it does not seem to be specific to any particular mod, so that is why we come here. It seems more modded things on the map decreases time before crash. Tinter has experienced these crashes with only RHS in use, I have experienced these crashes when RHS is not in use, but instead HAFM UAZ and SFP, both of which Tinter was not using. To me it appears that AiA's version of Sahrani is highly unstable when playing with other mods. It is also worth noting that when missions that crash on Sahrani are ported to other maps, they do not crash, at least in my case.
  12. Here is the full .rpt from my dedi server crashing while playing my HVT.Sara mission "Corazol Ball" on Sahrani. Additionally, some notes I took. The mission was selected immediately after restarting the server. I was the only person on the server. 269 MB RAM in use after restart. 274 MB RAM in use after selecting mission. 502 MB RAM in use on the briefing screen. 522 MB RAM in use after spawning in, by myself. Spawned in at 18:46:04. Crashed at 18:46:32 by my eyes though the .rpt was last edited by the server at 18:46:26. #monitor 1 still reports 522 MB RAM in use at time of crash. Lost connection with host 90 seconds after the crash, as usual. Tried searching for the .rpt entries submitted by Tinter and cuel. Nowhere do they occur in the log.
  13. Hey, I think I can share quite a bit of information on this Sahrani crashing issue. First off, I play small highly modded coop with one to nine other people. Sahrani is a past time of ours. We have a dedi server that was using A3MP and MP_AP for awhile with SMD_Sahrani running. I made three missions on SMD Sahrani, as part of a small campaign. Never had an issue with them. When we switched to AiA TP, I merely went into the mission.sqm and replaced the map names so the mission would load up properly. In the editor, there was no difference between AiA Sahrani and SMD. All objects were placed properly. Testing in the editor revealed no issues. Went to play the first mission in the series with one other friend, "No message received" after about two minutes. Figured it was just the server being ArmA, so we restarted it. Same problem. I hypothesized it had something to do with my porting of the mission, so instead I just copied and pasted everything over in the editor and then all of the scripts. Same issue. Then, I figured it might be the mission itself. I gave up on Sahrani for awhile, ported Domination around to Chernarus, Zargabad, and Bornholm, and then figured I'd give it a try ported over to Sahrani. Again, crash after spawning in. My community uses a ridiculous 133 mods. However, only mods required by missions are run on the server. Due to the logistics of the server, all of the .pbos are in a single folder (I know, not very professional, but it works), so it would take some time to find all of the mods running on the server. Here is the PlaywithSIX collection all clients were using: https://play.withsix.com/arma-3/collections/8qm3ZuwBJEC624BubGjcaw/Highly-Modded-ArmA-3 Here are the addons used in the first 'campaign' mission: And in the domination: Here are the three 'campaign' missions (not sure if uploading the domi would piss someone off, not going to test it) in a .rar: Surprisingly, it is actually quite rare that our server has issues. In the last week it has run five AO sets of domination on Bornholm, Chernarus, and Zargabad, as well as two hour plays of insurgency. Fifty FPS is the norm. Our server is hosted by Nitrado, in either Frankfurt or Hamburg, I forget, and they're not willing to give me the specs . If you need any additional data it will be forthcoming. Server .rpts will be available later this evening. I will also try a mission with just a single player on the map and nothing more. Additional data Tinter suggests could be of use: Server crashes more quickly on domination. First campaign mission, "HVT," allows the player to swim out of the water and arm up (about three minutes) before a crash. Domination lets you take two steps.
  14. I am having the same issue as Tinter and MisterGoodson; my dedi server crashes a few seconds after a player enters Sahrani. Tried on several different missions, only difference seems to be the time before the server goes down. Never lasts more than two minutes though.

BWI Addons - Aircraft & Vehicles

Very nice Su-25, very good to see such a broad array of weapon loadouts and textures for this plane. The sounds are amazing, the capacity of the aircraft is fantastic, but I've been bothered by the functionality of the Vikhr missiles. The lock-on box is high above the crosshair and HUD, which was confusing for my first few uses of the missile, but also the missile is incredibly inaccurate. Is this an intentional feature of the mod?

1.24 weapon exaggerated sway got fixed

This is a great mod, but unfortunately I've had to drop another great mod, the no idle animations mod, because having it enabled breaks this mod in all aspects. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=25030 Thanks for your efforts. Hopefully if made modular we can pinpoint which function of this mod is conflicting.
  17. Here's the bis wiki page on updating sounds for 1.24, but I think you might need permission from the modders to release such a patch even if unofficial. https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Weapon_Config_Guidelines#Muzzle_accessories I tried doing it myself but I'm having issues repacking the .pbos :/.
  18. Does anyone know where the GVAR for the side mission convoy vehicles can be found, as well as the isle defense vehicle types?

Refactored recoi - is it joke?

I mean I'm taking a break until they fix the game, as I imagine some number of people are. Sorry about the ambiguity there. And the dev blog doesn't give me the opinion we'll get the new stable too soon.

Refactored recoi - is it joke?

I agree Brisse, it seems ArmA 3 will be on hiatus for "weeks" according to the dev blog. I guess being able to run around in white space is just more important to BIS than having guns that fire properly in a game that came out not too short of a year ago.

Refactored recoi - is it joke?

Yeah I know, that's what makes it weird. I did install Toadie's HLC battle rifles though, but I doubt that managed to fix everything. I'll test around with it a bit later. Gave some testing to it...still happening when running no mods, but with my thirty or so gigabytes of mods, recoil works as it should. Fatigue bug has no avail. Probably a result of me switching in between dev branch and stable in conjunction with how all of my mods are conflicting with each other. This bug is highly inconsistent it seems by the bug tracker submissions. I guess for the vanilla stable fix we're all waiting on BIS; does anyone know if they plan on updating stable before bootcamp?

Refactored recoi - is it joke?

Didn't see that thread, thanks da12th/Brisse. And for me at least, the recoil bug is gone in stable and dev with vanilla and modded weapons, but the fatigue bug remains in stable and dev. I think I'll just stick to ArmA 2 for a bit, until BIS patches their update and all mods have their sound configs rewritten...

Refactored recoi - is it joke?

Frank, the known cause is the game itself. Test it in the editor; put down a BIS standard rifleman, with no mods enabled, and enjoy the recoil and fatigue effects. But on the subject of mods, BIS released an amazing update to the dev branch today...that disables sounds for every single mod I have installed. I wonder how they support things like "Make ArmA Not War," without providing basic testing support on their own product to make sure that submissions to that contest can have working audio. baZti, I think you're right. Fortunately the recoil bug is fixed in today's stable, and there is no audio bug with mods either. But the fatigue bug persists; run half a klick with an AA soldier and watch his gun and sights movement in first person. BIS, I really love you. My friends and I, we talk about how BIS is the only studio anymore that really does great work with tactical shooters, about how DICE, whoever makes the next COD, Ubisoft, have all lost their touch. I buy the DLC for your games, even the DLC and games I would never conceivably play, and I just ask, test your updates. Please. If your update modifies the files for the recoil system...just place a unit in the editor and shoot a few times. That's all it takes. And has anyone got a bug tracker submission on this issue, the fatigue glitch?

Refactored recoi - is it joke?

Is that indigenous to the game or a recently added "feature" of the new patch?
