How about Anna or Alexa or something? I think those are names that are fairly common in the West and the East, at least as far as I know. Seriously though, she looks great and the fitting bodies would be even more of an improvement. Would the body go along with RHSUSAF Multicam and RHSAFRF Camos?

That´s the concept, it would be used for a campaign. Sadly our Team is not that big which is why development takes longer. I can´t give a definitive answer to that because Wilk is the one developing it but if someone were to create a custom terrain with a good enough quality to be incorporated into OPTRE itself it surely will. (I will update this answer as soon as I have more information from Wilk in regard to the technical aspects) Thanks, we will -

The smaller UNSC vehicles are not forgotten either. We hope that this will allow people to drive through narrow city streets more easily. Since this is my third post in a row I will update my latest post with updates in the future (provided that no one else creates a post). Apologies to all the people who are not interested in OPTRE and feel annoyed by me more or less bumping this thread. -
There already are some Chinese (serious) concepts floating around the internet for their planned carrier fleet. I hope I can find some of them again. EDIT: http://www.popsci.com/chinas-new-carrier-gets-ski-ramp (currently looking for more sources because as far as I remember they planned to introduce a catapult launch capability on their second planned domestic carrier of the Type 002 class.) EDIT 2: As mentioned before the Kuznetsov-class is pretty outdated and has got many serious issues so it wouldn´t make sense for CSAT to adopt any carrier of that class. A modern Chinese carrier based on the Type 002 class or higher would make a lot more sense. All this is just wishful thinking anyway...

They created their own studio (BO1) and helped BI out with the Aircraft and the Carrier.

Maybe, just maybe this means that the object size limit is also finally lifted or at least increased. Seeing the carrier gives me a lot of hope for new features/lifted engine limitations.

You nailed it. But what is even more important to me than the walking on ships feature (although it would be incredibly useful to have) is fixing the parachute animations. As it is you can´t use units properly above 50m over the ground (a pretty big issue for our OPTRE frigate) because as soon as you exit an aircraft for example you will be stuck in the freefall animation for a few seconds until the game finally understands that you are not falling but in fact standing in the hangar of the frigate. I would think that that could be fixed fairly easily but I might be wrong (and it is a whole new discussion).

This applies to me 100% but both sides have a very good point. For example I would love to have different armed forces on my server because having only the US and german armed forces fighting Russians becomes boring after a while so a RHS addon that doesn´t bloat the filesize with having the same weapons and vehicles twice would be awesome but people that focus on the ADF and have no interest in US Forces might be adamantly opposed to a RHS requirement. It sure is a difficult decision to make. -

Nice to see something different. I would definitely prefer a mod based on RHS instead of Vanilla, incorporating RHS Systems and Add-on Standards. Anyway, those are just my 2 cents. :) Good luck with your Project -

Release of Alpha version 3.0.4 Added: -A little bit more detail to lower Manhatten Changed: -Edited the heightmap slightly -Dirt was added to Battery Park -Slopes were added to Governor´s Island to allow vehicles to land at the Island -Removed e76_objects -Removed burnes_objects -Included PLP_objects in the addon (PLP Barriers dependency removed) Fixed: -Missing Keys -Inverted text on the 2-Lane-Street -terrain bumps -Luggage at NYC Helicopters was hovering -Graves in Battery Park were hovering -Pier ladders could not be used properly -------------------------------------------------------------- This Release can be regarded as a hotfix. I noticed some pretty major and some minor issues and wanted to fix them as fast as possible.

I will add more detail to the existing areas but the buildings that are already there probably won´t change that much (unless someone decides to help out with more fitting skyscraper models). Obviously there are some areas that are already included in the playable area but are heavily work in progress (Should be easy to tell which ones I am talking about). I am somewhat familiar with ALIVE. I played around with the modules but I never got around to playing on a proper ALIVE server nor have I ever indexed a terrain so thank you a lot for offering to do it, it would be greatly appreciated. A Dynamic Recon Ops with random Thugs appearing on the map still sounds like a lot of fun :)

I kind of wanted to make a quick and dirty video so here I go I guess. It would definitely be pretty cool if someone created such a game mode.

Yes I did but bracer's buildings would need a complete overhaul. Most of them have shadow lod and small collision issues. Besides that I don't know if bracer is still active in the community. Having said that I know where you are coming from, especially Manhatten is in dire need of more skyscraper variation.

A little update on the BI forums is long overdue: I released Version 3.0.3 today and updated the first post with correct information regarding the terrain. The terrain has still got long ways to go to be considered complete, nonetheless I do think that it is an interesting case study for very densely populated urban maps in ArmA. At the moment parts of Brooklyn, Lower Manhatten and the whole of Liberty and Governor´s Island can be played on. My current priority is to complete the bridge network to allow people to drive from Brooklyn to Manhatten. Some pictures from the playable areas (for more-> see first post or workshop page):

Just wanted to keep the appearance up, my comment was never intended to be taken serious in any form. Don´t worry I do not believe that the T-55 is in any form capable of competing with any modern MBT (I need to laugh just thinking about it) nor am I interested in starting an unnecessary argument to get at you. I apologize if I offended you in any way.
