  1. I am pretty sure that old versions of AiA terrain pack had that bug (Floating apartment) 99% sure But it was fixed, maybe you guys have an old version? That looks exactly like how the old bugged ones looked, I don't think it's a map problem, seems like the problem is outdated aia tp version Can't test tho (not at computer) so I can't be sure

  4. Hey guys, I know that custom faces didnt work for a long time, and I have no clue if they ever fixed it or what, I thought there had been some mods that fixed something with it... Anyway I am just wondering if they work now, they are still broken or .. what is the "status" of them currently? Thanks.

    What? Sorry TWroach but I cant understand what you mean? Was that 3 questions being: Can you join The enemy? was shot Then fainted possible (ie: can you get shot and faint) then, "Is like ACE Such" = is it similar to ace in this respect ??? Not really sure what your trying to ask, try rephrasing :)

    FYI, not sure if this is intended but, you can littearly just hit your climb key as your reaching the top of the ladder, and if its the right distance youll go from ladder animation to the "pull up" one and it will actually work, and looks pretty good too... Seriously though, just hit the button before youve reached that "bad invisble space" and if your the correct distance this should happen (somehow it takes you off the ladder anim and just does it... it works)

On aia I used the ALICEs and they worked like quite fine, let me see If I can dig up the old screenshots, maybe your talking about a really specific one though http://imgur.com/fAHuLIR (with a3 unit) IDK which ones are the chdzk backpacks, maybe you mean those big bulkly russian ones the guerillas had for engineers or something? Anyway legislator you did the taki civ stuff for CUP if I remember, they dont have that same glitch as CAF agressors where the hand is disconnected from the arm right? Anyways good luck and I look forward to CUP
  10. Is CUP gonna have the backpacks from a2? I remember using backpacks in a3 from all in arma and they seemed pretty functonal, at least they appeared on the guys back, so I figure its not horrible to do right? Anyway I was thinking, if your doing backpacks, maybe you could ask permission from the author of whoever made all those ACR backpack retextures for ACE to use those in CUP.
  11. Toadie, are all the magazines stored in the hlccore ? If so, could you do a compatibility patch between RHS mags and all your weapons that have "relevant" magazines (ammo)? Since you are already working with rhs on some stuff etc

  14. I have made a custom face, and I know how do to all that stuff etc, but I know that you have purple arms when using custom faces, due to lack of a skin texture alongside it. I went into characters_F and found the paas for skin, such as hl_white_hairy1 hl_white_hairy2 hl_white_hairy3 There are also a bunch of RVmats, but I figured i only need these files since they have all the skin texture on there, even feet etc. So, I can edit this and put it as a jpg alongside the face.jpg right, but what do I name this? Skin.jpg or something???? I don't know what to name it,or if this will even work, but I believe once reading somewhere that you could do the method I have described, honestly I am mostly going off some old memory of this and its really not accurate.

    Znooptokkie what mods did you use for that?:bounce3: that backpack :) Also I dont believe they have any really right now, for arma 2 they had the cwr2 brits, but idk about anything in a3

    My friend got missing sound in MP quite randomly too... he even heard some sounds but not all of them.. ;/ We were using RHS and Aia TP only But he couldnt hear vanilla stuff or rhs in a consistent manner

    All I mean is that for these units, you should use RHS weapons and it will require RHS, that stuff is pretty easy, someone can help you with it most likley.

    I PMed the pws ppl with your new link Anyways, does the new fix prevent that thing where you get launched forward like 10 feet and get hurt when climbing a wall? Since I have never truly "flown" except for like 10-15 feet up in the air, unless that is what you mean :cool:

    This looks awesome as hell, great work. Are they coming with weapons or just uniforms? I would suggest using RHS escalation as a dependency then you can use their weapons and stuff. (since its becoming the new standard)
  22. The sheer amount of life servers actually seems to make the other servers take longer to appear lol, but... I am pretty sure honestly there was already a whole thread about like bad server browser and why its flooded with life servers etc But I do agree, yesterday I looked on the browser and only saw 2 "milsim" servers, which had a whopping total of 6 people on them. Anyway if your concerned for the new players, try to convince some to play a coop with you or something, maybe they will enjoy it etc

    By tiling issue do you mean that thing where arma 1 maps (and stuff like celle 2) get those glitches with the map texture and it gets all distorted like big lines of "pixels" and everything, like how Sahrani on AiA tp is for instance, or celle 2 when used on a3?
